Easy to order tyres online and make an appointment for fitting. Always a good selection to choose from at good prices. At the local fitting centre, Bathwick Tyres, Bridgend, the service is always polite and efficient and after numerous visits I have never had to make a complaint about the way I was treated!

Damage to inside of alloy with tyre change, wasn’t told.
Noticed damage to the inside of the alloy after having two tyres changed recently. Deep scratches were near to where new weights had been fitted. Shame as I’ve used previously for other services (aircon) and have been happy with the experience. More annoyed they didn’t just own up to damaging it.

DANGEROUS INCOMPETENCE
I took my car to Protyre, Bridgend to get a puncture fixed. They were very friendly, did the job, and handed over the car to me. I drove a few miles and heard some strange noises, so decided to go back to have them check that everything was okay. On my way back the brakes failed on the main road putting me and other motorists at risk, luckily I was driving very slowly and eventually the car stopped with a loud clunk. THE WHEEL HAD COME OFF! THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO PUT THE WHEEL BOLTS ON! If I had gone on the motorway, it would have been a catastrophic pile-up. They seemed really nice, wanted to make it up to me and offered to fit all new brake pads free of charge to compensate. I was happy with that and booked the car in for an MOT. They replaced the damaged wheel that came off, which is what one would expect. But when it came to the MOT they suddenly went back on their word and decided to charge me too much for a FULL set of brake pads and discs, claiming that the new wheel was compensation enough. Do not trust these guys unless you have what they say in writing.

Excellent service from the guys in the tyre depot. I attempted to use a Groupon voucher to pay for an air con recharge but was having difficulty verifying it for them. Despite it being 5.25 they were prepared to hang on to get the job done. Don't know if other garages would have done that. Would thoroughly recommend them for any work needed.

Easy to choose tyres and book online. However, I chose the wrong tyre centre of the two in the town so turned up at the wrong place. Fortunately had enough time to cross town to the correct centre. You might make the distinction clearer on the website.
When there the team were helpful and the process very quick. Well done everybody.
