Had a tyre blow out on the M6. Went to Harold’s Tyres in Penrith, who unfortunately didn’t have a suitable replacement in stock. But they asked us where we were headed (North), checked their system and Gates Tyres in Carlisle had two in stock. We went there, Harold’s had telephoned ahead, we were greeted with a potential 2.5 hour wait but the guys said they would do their best and we got a phone call to say it was all done after 1.5 hours. Great service from both garages at a time of need. Furthermore the bill for the tyre was cheaper than my local garage who had replaced two of the tyres on the car only the week before. Highly recommend both of these garages and the Protyre group.

Liam helped me out when I picked up yet another puncture and dealt with it very swiftly well within a very reasonable timescale very happy with an all round great visit yet again!

I received excellent service, but I was booked in for 2.30 and its was at least 3.30 before my car was looked at. Must mention Callum, very nice honest lad .

I was greeted with a friendly smile. They explained that they were extremely busy (which i could see when I arrived) and that even though it was booked online it would take a while. I was more than happy to wait. And only 20mins past my booking time my car was taking in for four new tyres and some quick checks. When the car was ready they again were extremely apologetic. However I was in no rush and just grateful they were able to sort my tyres for me. I cannot fault the service received. And the friendliness and open honesty and full explanations I received.

Very helpful. Wasn’t completely sure why the tyres kept deflating but Grant was very good and give me the potential causes. Then got it sorted. Highly recommend

Lads behind the counter and the workers who did my brakes absolutely great,however sitting in a frozen cold waiting room on one of the coldest days of the year,and having to walk 15 minutes to Greggs just to get warmed up is ridiculous.

Excellent communication very pleasant staff

Three times I have booked online and given a date and time for an appointment only to be told on arrival that they are really busy and people have been waiting for 2 hours so I will have to wait. I was told that booking a time online isn’t a time for the work just a time for me to arrive!!! Work that one out.

Customer service was excellent by Grant. He ensured I got my four tyres changed in quick time, despite them being extremely busy.

Ordered the tyres online at 23.50 on the Friday night and was in the next day at 08.30 to get them fitted. Got a text to say they were short staffed and completing work from the previous day but they would try to get it done as quickly as possible and they did as I was away at 09.30. Great service as always and appreciate being kept up to date about any potential delays.

Everyone was very helpful, the car was started on time , finished on time and is great value for money.
