Typically the service has been very good…
Typically the service has been very good. However, there has been an issue with the delivery and installation of a battery for my vehicle. So far, a week after it was meant to have been installed there is no sign of the battery ever arriving.
If Protyre cannot fulfill this order, then please advise that this is the case. I will then seek a battery replacement from another source. Issue therefore is communication when things do not go well.

Incredible service from Simon
Incredible service from everyone and very friendly staff, i went in to get 4 new tyres and they were incredibly helpful in deciding what ones to get, Simon was the one to install them and he did a great job, super friendly and efficient and thanks to him i will be coming again

Quick from ordering the tyres and them getting them in. Inspection of the wheel joint that had come up on a service to all 4 tyres changed as planned. 4 Drive you cant go changing odd tyres like 2 Drive.

The promise doesn't always meet the reality.
I requested that they take a look at a slow puncture "I was already aware of" at the time I booked my vehicle in for two new tyres, and was given assurance that this could be done. five days later I arrive for my appointed service slot, my tyres got changed but was told they were too busy to check my slow puncture, They did however squeeze me for a "Tracking Check" and managed to bill me for this on top of the £300+ i was paying for my tyres.
So despite me being the only customer onsite and the workshop clearly devoid of other vehicles to work on They were "Too Busy"
Disappointed would be a suitable word, I've used them for at least 8 years and had all my new tyres from them as well as the various other services they provide, always found them helpful and decent (Till now) Perhaps the guy was having an off-day that was dealing with me (I don't know) What I do know is it left me disappointed in what I had previously thought of as a great local independent that used to knock spots of the likes of ATS etc with great staff and a great attitude to serving local people. Perhaps the competitors will get a try next time I'm looking for tyres or services of that type, or do I put it down to one guy having a bad day?
