Recently had an MOT booked
Recently had an MOT booked. Half an hour before the test received a call to say the MOT Tester is off ill.
Was told unable to do the test. Was not offered any rebooking, just told “we can’t do it and don’t know when we can!”
Poor customer service. A simple “we’ll call you when he’s back to rebook” would have been sufficient. I get the fact people can become ill however the was no support to rebook.
As such we’ve found an alternative centre for the MOT, with great customer service.
My experience does not meet the statement on their website ……
“As a Michelin Certified Centre, Protyre Warrington have achieved high standards across levels of customer service, their workshop and equipment and their organisation and management processes, signifying a high level of service and quality will be provided everytime.”
I’ve used Protyre many times previously, however sadly I won’t be using them anymore.

Appalling service
Appalling service, I paid for an Mot but cancelled it well over a week before it was due as I had been offered a complimentary MOT from Audi.
That was over a month ago and despite several phone calls and email, I am yet to receive a refund. I have used Protyre Warrington several times but will take my business elsewhere in future.
EDIT - I have contacted Protyre on the email below and had no response!!

Quick response/repair
I had a slow puncture, Protyre took me in after an hour and fixed my tyre very quickly, other companies were unable to help me on the same day!

Guys were good and sorted my tyres but…
Guys were good and sorted my tyres but I paid for tracking and the machine was broken. No tracking and still weeks later no refund despite several emails to customer services who seemed ok at first but no replies and still no refund so 2 star from me.

Very happy customer
Booked in for a service & MOT. No problem getting the date I needed. Dropped car off at 8.30 in the morning & it was ready by 1pm. The lad I saw when collecting the car was very informative & clear about what had been done & the price was very reasonable.

Paid for a Platinum Service and the…
Paid for a Platinum Service and the workshop could do the wheel alignement (part of the paid service). They re-schedule me for this a couple of weeks after that. I showed in the workshop and the machine was still broken. I'm still waiting for the wheel alignement 2 months later...
I'm booking my MOT in any other workshop
