Thank you Jack, and thank you the local team led by Lucille, for a wonderful two weeks in the Falkland Islands. The itinerary involving trips to four small islands was perfectly judged. Virtually everything went like clockwork. Heavy rain one day required some rejigging of plans, and the local team dealt with that seamlessly.

Flawless—there’s not much more to say, but I’ll say it anyway. From my first interaction with Jack Brooker, everything was meticulously planned and seamlessly executed. Over 14 nights and five different hotels/lodges, every collection time and meeting point was met—whether deep in the rainforest, high in the cloud forest, or along the beach. Whether by boat, minibus, or light aircraft, transport was always there, ready to take us to our next adventure. Thank you!

Jake listened to our thoughts about a trip to Argentina and Uruguay and made it happen . We had a fantastic holiday . The guides and tours which he arranged were excellent. We will definitely consider using Rainbow Tours for our next holiday .

Great personalised and professional service

There were many highlights, everything was organised smoothly. The one or two negative aspects have been made direct to Rainbow.

We have never had anything but superb service from Rainbow Tours. Our recent holiday in Kenya was brilliantly curated by Craig Kaufman, who listened and recommended two fantastic camps. We visited Lewa Safari Camp and Little Sand River in the Mara. Different scenery’s, different animals but both the same fantastic level of service. All the Elewana camps we have visited across Kenya have been exceptionally good. Wildlife sightings were abundant and Lewa being a conservancy offered less traffic and the elusive Rhino. While the Mara was more busy, grass was long because of recent rains but the scenery was beautiful. Lion sightings every day!
Bush breakfasts and sundowners with fellow travellers a highlight. Just sitting back, taking in the sights and smells with the sun on your face made us forget about the grey January we left behind. Thanks to Rainbow Tours for making this safari special from Gamewatchers on the ground who ensured all logistics worked seamlessly to the recommendations of the camps and areas by Craig.

****** (6 stars!) RT met and exceeded all expectations organising our first trip with them, and our first to Colombia. Jack Brooker and Sarah Frankish are both highly knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, listened, advised, were prompt and informative in communications and dealt with queries and issues swiftly. The pair of them ooze enthusiasm about a country that has had poor PR, but is actually extremely hospitable, utterly beautiful, and very friendly. Every day had several WOW moments! We feel extremely privileged to have had this opportunity to visit Colombia and wouldn't have even considered going if Jack hadn't suggested looking into it. He and Sarah put a lot of thought into our trip. Backed up in-country by really excellent guides (especially Gavi and Fellipe) RT produced really helpful detailed pre-departure paperwork, were sensibly priced and we would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!

From the first approach Rainbow did a fine job sending pictures and text to describe their response to the trip (toCostaRica) that I had in mind.Reality was pretty close. Their voucher system was very clear and the agency they used in CR was amongst the best I have dealt with. .. never late and very helpful/ responsive. From this experience I would use them again.

We have just returned from an excellent two week holiday travelling around Costa Rica. Rainbow Tours took on board what we were looking for in our holiday and put together a draft itinerary for discussion. They were proactive in communicating with us to finalise hotel options and excursions and all documentation was received in a timely manner.

Once in Costa Rica, multiple transfers and internal flights ran like clockwork with the local operator being helpful, efficient and friendly. All hotels were just what we were looking for and the recommended excursions were great.

All in all we had a wonderful holiday and we would certainly recommend Rainbow Tours.

Excellent service, an amazing trip to Kenya with many flights and pick ups. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rainbow.

Our trip with Rainbow to Uganda was quite simply outstanding. Craig's detailed knowledge and passion for the country (lived and worked there for a few years) were matched to our requirements and budget with meticulous attentiveness and detail. Rainbow used a great local company, Nkurungu Safaris. The main focus was on gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest, with added activities including hiking a volcano, canoeing, bird watching and a more traditional safari experience at Murchison Falls. We've travelled extensively in Africa over many years and the wildlife and landscape experiences on this trip were right up there with the best Africa has to offer. The lodges we chose were not luxury but very comfortable with excellent food. Across all lodges, staff were excellent, attentive and always so friendly and smiling. Our driver / guide was great company, very knowledgeable, very tuned into our wants and needs, always on time, anticipated and smoothed any problems out. Exceeded our expectations by some way. Only negative point was we under-estimated the cash we needed for the numerous guides, rangers and trackers involved in the various activities booked as part of the trip.

We were very impressed with Rainbow Tours. They organised a fantastic private trip to Colombia and Panama for us. Jack Brooker was very responsive to our requirements and he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout. We really enjoyed the tour with lovely hotels in great locations. The guides were fantastic - well informed and enthusiastic in each location with some great recommendations for local restaurants.

Rainbow tours are excellent at what they do as their consultants know their countries inside out. All the hotelsI stayed in were interesting and different particularly! All the guides knew their areas well and could answer any questions! Just a fantastic travel experience

Thanks to Shelley from Rainbow Tours and Aaron from Aaron’s Adventure Tours we had the most amazing time in Saint Helena. The process was flawless which made the experience even better.

We are just back from a trip to Brazil and overall, it was amazing! This was a tailor made trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary so we wanted to be sure it went well. Prior to the trip we only had an itinerary, a booking reference, a list of flight details and a Rainbow contact number. To be honest, we were slightly nervous about getting on a plane to Brazil with no vouchers or named contacts etc and hoping that we would be met at the other end. But, everything went very smoothly. The hotels were good and the guides were excellent. On one of the internal flights, one of our suitcases did not arrive but everyone was helpful and we managed to get it back the following day (the contents were intact, although the case itself was broken). Our return to UK was delayed due to bad weather, and it was chaotic at the airport but we got back a day late with our luggage, tired but ok. A slight negative of the trip was that the water levels in the Amazon are extremely low which meant that when staying at the Amazon lodge, it was necessary to climb many steps to access the lodge from the boat. This was a big problem for my husband and meant that he did not manage all of the planned activities. Had we known about the steps, we might have changed the itinerary. Apart from this, it was very good.

The company was good and we thought honest as made it clear about some of the potential downsides of the basic accommodation - these were not an issue. But more information should have been shared about it to help us make an informed choice - there were many other downsides we didn't realise. It's put us off travelling to be honest. Still recovering from diarrhea likely caused by improper food handling.
