Not to be trusted
A fake review website that is in cahoots with dodgy companies who obviously pay a fee to reviews.co.uk to have GENUINE negative consumer reviews taken down and only have positive reviews visible to give the impression that such companies provide good products and customer service. A very dishonest practice and it should be illegal to mislead consumers in such a way.
I posted 2 genuine "verified" reviews on there which were factual and reasonable in tone with no explicit content. On both occasions the the reviews were removed within 24 hours.
their reviews cannot be trusted
I made several attempts to submit reviews to reviews.co.uk. They appear to delete or deny negative reviews of certain companies - or at least a percentage of negative reviews - artificially boosting their clients' public profiles as more positive than they actually are.
Clearly a 'Profits Before People' company...
This company is a completely sham
This company is a completely sham. It's clear that businesses use it to bump up their stats. Mysterious verified buyers who wrote like they are bots. We need detail not "great but will use again".
What an obvious ploy.
reviews.co.uk - not genuine at all
I added a genuine review about a company and the review was taken down 5 days later.
I had given this company 1 star out of 5 - and rightly so along with photographic evidence and proof of purchase and explanation of my experience with the company (newmanandbright).
The reviewed site has only 5 star and 4 star reviews probably from friends / family and likely themselves.
Not at all to be trusted - its funded by the reviewed companies, removing genuine reviews they dislike.
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. Not actually possible to leave negative reviews. I should have known when the company I had a negative experience with was "recommended by 100% of (reviews.co.uk) reviewers." Do not trust this misleading service.
Disgrace this company should not trade
Disgrace this company should not hold a license to sell eye care to the general public , my glasses not 2 months old fell apart and optical express refuse to repair, they said they can if I pay , I of course refuse to do so both on Trading Standards rules and regulations and the manufacturers gaurunteee.
They even took my glasses back , said they would look into it as I refused to pay for repair , then they call me twice say they are ready , when I go back today 26 January 2018 at 19:00 the shop assistant was shocked when she opened the box as there were my broken glasses
The manage then took over and tried to blame me for breaking this glasses , why would I do that , he said he could repair but I need pay , he also admitted that the glasss had not been sent back anywhere for testing
This is a disgrace they have had them many week and I am forced to wear reading glasses damaging my eyes further
This company should be struck off from optical care they should not be trading they have no customer care and are an unethical company
I will now seek compensation for my glasses , my many visits , the inconvenience and damage that this company is now causing me
Please do not us this company unless your ready for a legal fight which I am to receive compensation
I will also report to Trading Standards and I urge everyone that had a complaint to do the same
No more thane Thieves , the only difference between Turpin and optical express staff is That Turpin wore a mask when robbing you
this is very unfair company Let people give there reviews Good or BAD not water them down
this is very unfair company how there able to trade I do not know, once Watch dog or newspaper get hold of there scam they will be shut down!!!
So they offer a SPECIAL review service for there customers, they ask companies to PAY them for there service.
When you buy something online and wish to leave the company a review, the only way possible is if your invited to do so!!!
So all angry customers do not get invited so you can filter out only the best happy customers to leave a review on your website!!!!!!!!
Any customer review service that is paid for by the company your leaving the review of is just wrong.
I hope ever your shut down or you at least allow every person to give there honest review of the service they have received.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM SITE
'Fjallravenkankenoutlet.co.uk' is 1 star ONLY because there's nothing less to choose.
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS SCAM SITE. Its not in the UK, its an address in China used by many dubious organisations and this has been confirmed by my bank. They are now in the process of getting my money back for a warm yellow Fjallraven Kanken backpack that I STUPIDLY paid £46 for 'in the sale' which after over 3 weeks waiting, turned out to be a very poor fake.
I contacted Fjallraven Kanken Official and sent photos of the backpack (including the label inside written in CHINESE!!) and Kanken security confirmed that it is indeed a counterfeit backpack and they're aware of this Chinese company that rips off their products. You wont get any order confirmation, no email to contact and when you NEED to contact them its by a simple 'contact us' button but you won't get a reply. As per my banks policy, I have to try to send it back for a refund BUT! There's NO order /reference number to complete the 'returns' process so you're left with it.
Fortunately my bank are using the charge back scheme and I WILL get my money back. Trading Standards and Citizens Advice are also aware of these scammers.
So do yourselves a favour and STAY AWAY..
Excellent company
Excellent company. Posted a few reviews, was easy to use and published without any fuss. Trustpilot is not the only company who can handle this. Reviews is second to none. Wonder why there is so many negative reviews for a competitor on Trustpilot. mm
Easy to review and post
Easy to review and post, allows for images to be uploaded too.
Utterly hopeless
Utterly hopeless. I was a client a few months back, they erroneously billed me for an account I cancelled previously. When chasing my refund I was met with rude customer service staff who didn't really care.
I emailed several times prior to ensure that everything was in place, did not receive a response and had to take time out of my day to chase them. Hassle. Terrible billing system, do not trust them with my account details.
Fantastic on-boarding process, but after sales is woeful.
Like several others who have rated …
Like several others who have rated reviews.co.uk I had the experience of writing a review as a verified customer, and then not having that review published. Clearly reviews.co.uk is a misleading and therefore scamming site that gives an erroneous impression of the range of reviews of a company, being very selective and not allowing more than a certain percentage of bad reviews, thus making the company appear better than it is. Despite correspondence with one of the reviews.co.uk team, my review has not been published, but interestingly the reviews.co.uk team member I corresponded with was called "Matt" - I wonder if this is the same Matt who has reviewed reviews.co.uk on the TrustPilot site and given it 5 stars????????
Where's my review?
If you like to take the time out to write a review to let others know of your experience with a company - whether that be good or bad - and don't then want that review shown so people can actually read about your experience, then this is the site for you. 5/5
However, if you like to write reviews to share your experience and actually have it shown so people can make an informed decision, then it's best to look for another review site.
I'd rate 0/5 if I could :-(.
Won't allow me to leave a review
Told I was unable to leave a review for a cleaning company (Molly Maid) after they came round my house to give an estimate and then never got back in touch despite contacting them several times to chase them.
I wanted to leave a review and share my negative experience so others would be aware. Instead I was told I would need a customer or job number to prove i was a customer of Molly Maid. How am I supposed to have a job number if they never got in touch in the first place.
Ridiculous structure for a review website, easily rigged by the retailers/companies based on the website and will not offer a fair reflection of the companies signed up with them.
Posted a review & had it verified but …
Posted a review & had it verified but it has not appeared. Scammers that only post good reviews
Sabancouture Scam, sent completely wrong goods
Ordered rockport deck shoes, received some strange running shoes.
Postage address, when investigated online, is clearly a scam as the person in China is sending incorrect goods associated with numerous websites. Seems like they want you to give up chasing them or not bother to return goods.
Will update review if I get a refund
latest is, after some emails, they have offered me £15 instead of the £70 i spent. i have never heard of a practice like this. AVOID
Trustpilot hound you with sales calls
Trustpilot hound you with sales calls, false claims of the benefits it'll have on your SEO if you use them. reviews.co.uk / reviews.io have a laid back approach, an affordable approach and they don't hound you with calls day after day with false sales pitches.
How on earth there's negative reviews here, I don't know. All I can think of is that they're fake.
Easily manipulated by the retailers
They allow their customers (online retailers) to move their reviews so as to keep their overall score looking good and hide the negative reviews.
If a retailer upgrades to a higher package they have the facility to move the negative reviews from the "Company Reviews" to some unrelated product of their choosing, this then goes into the "Product Reviews" section which effectively takes all the bad reviews and hides them out of the way, this also takes the negative review away from the "Company".
One retailer that I have followed has a very high score and supposedly only one 1 Star Review and four 2 Star Reviews... when you check the "Product Reviews" there are loads of 1 and 2 Star Reviews.
One product I am looking at now has nine 1 and 2 Star Reviews, this product only costs a few pounds but all the reviews are for bigger items costing hundreds!
reviews.co.uk are well aware of this practice (I have informed them 3 times) but are happy to let their customers do this as long as they pay.
So this basically means that what you see on retailers websites advertising their percentages and good reviews can be manipulated by the retailer (with reviews.co.uk blessing) if they wish.
Great customer service and fair …
Great customer service and fair pricing. Not sure what more you could ask for really.
