I didn't like the way they charged the money (penalty and other charges) and they didn't refund the money. I am not at all satisfied with Ricardo.

Very safe website. The fees are a little high but they have an amazing customer service and you can transact with peace of mind. 100% recommended.

I have now had two separate instances where Ricardo have failed to assist in bad transactions with sellers. The first was when a seller was claiming to sell a real Canada Goose jacket which ended up being a fake. Not only did Ricardo do nothing to assist (well the supported the seller), they supported illegal activity as the selling of counterfeit goods in Switzerland is not permitted. The second instance was when the seller did not provide any payment details and failed to respond to my many contact attempts. As a result, I suffered negative feedback. Ricardo did not respond and allowed the seller who provided such bad customer service to continue operating as per normal. Overall, Ricardo has no customer service and even appears to be supporting the sale of counterfeit items and allowing fraudulent sellers to operate.

I had excellent selling and buying experience

You find nearly anything on ricardo, often at very low prices and still in very good conditions. I also sold on ricardo and sometimes i sold items only for 1 swiss franc - but i was happy because someon else could use it and i didnt had costs to throw it away (eg an old electric heating). I also sold at prices were i was surprised to make that high prices. The good thing is you only pay when you sell it, there are no fees if you were not successful.

Do not order from Ricardos Hervey Bay.
Inconsistent food.
Terrible service.
Absolute crap delivery for exagerated price.

Ricadro is ridiculously expensive. They blocked me even though I was a long-term user making them more than 5000 chf in sales commission over the 10 years. My customer feedback was impeccable , nevertheless they blocked the account because they wanted proof of my suppliers. I was doing fulfillment at that time, not drop-shipping as they thought.
I couldn't supply shipping documents because all was handled online in my account fulfillment account and sent directly from China. So complicated.
Good-bye Ricardo. Hello Facebook marketplace. which is free and less complicated. Advice to Ricardo- if you don't want your asses burnt by upcoming competition, I advice to to change your stupid policy.

Do not buy or sell on this website!!!! They charge you at the end without you knowing that even if you did not sell your items. The conditions on a website have to be transparent and clear and on ricardo they are not!!! Stay away from it and choose facebook free groups way more effective and without costs

For only 2 sold items with a total sales income of CHF110 (CHF60 and CHF50), I was made to pay a total of CHF110 just for charges which I knoew nothing about. Also charges for items I did not sell. For any delay of 1 week in your payment, you automatically get a 2nd and last reminder even when there was no 1st reminder in the first place and you get an additional CHF10.-
Custer support/Call center: This is a rip-off in that for any call you make, you pay CHF1 per minute and you have to wait - again another means of ripping you off. This is a joke.
This has been my first time of using Ricardo and I bet it will be my last time.
For those who may not have had same experience as me, it is for you to decide on what to do with this information

I have recently registered with Ricardo.ch and just received my pass-code to complete the registration process. So far so good, even do some of the reviews about this online shopping site left by other people do not seem very encouraging.

Ricardo is extremely convenient and usually one can find very good deals on slightly used items. I do agree that the fees are too high and that an integrated payment method, such as paypal, would be convenient.

What is extremely horrible is their customer service! Considering bidding takes place 24/7 their hotline is a joke. I once tried calling them on an urgent matter when I bid waaay too high on an item by mistake on a Friday evening and the soonest they would have been able to answer my call would have been Monday!! That's why I'm more cautious now, knowing that in case of an emergency they wouldn't be able to help at all. Also, I have heard of cases in which they tend to shirk responsibilities when it comes to stolen items or goods that arrive damaged or not in the condition advertised to the buyer.

So, in a nutshell, great site with some problems concerning customer security and service. I will continue to use it though, since my experiences have been predominantly positive.
