We are building 3 houses and gave the R/store the plan so they could work out the quantity of slate and other. Items needed we paid and it was delivered
We had 2 rolls of lead over plus’s half a pallet of slate left we have one left to build but won’t be starting till July 2026 the lead roll was sealed when we returned the 2 rolls They tell me it is scrap value only
Not good May look on mainland for the next build

I bought some dry verges to replace my existing ones, website was easy to navigate. I didn't have to contact anyone as I knew what I needed. Delivery was swift & now they're all fitted. Will be using them again to replace the other side.

Due to negative feedback regarding stocking levels I contacted by phone to double check the tiles were actually in stock as I was unable to find any locally due to storm damage leaving a shortage. Once confirmed in stock I ordered and tiles arrived in good time and in good condition.

Fast refund but ....
The day after placing my order, Roof Stores informed me by e-mail that item was not in stock and I would receive a refund. Pleased to have a quick response. However, item was 'in stock' on website and no indication given when fresh would arrive. Got the impression they did not want my business.

Roof Stores cancelled my order because…
Roof Stores cancelled my order because of "stock shortages" but the item is still available to buy multiple days later. I Believe order was simply cancelled because my order was small. When my order was cancelled i received an email stating the reason for the order being cancelled. I received this in part of my email "If you have questions about your order, you can email us at donotreply@..........co.uk." ...... but yea you cant. you get an email back saying this email address is blocked from incoming emails.

Cancelled my order and now I am screwed!
Called and asked about stock levels for a particular tile off their website. Was told there was over 3,000 tiles available. I then placed an order for 800 tiles at my local supplier (this was all they had available) and I then placed my order for 400 additional tiles off RoofStores. A few days after placing my order I just randomly get a refund. I then contacted RoofStores to find out they aparrwnrly have no tiles available until August 2022?!?! I am now 400 tiles short and cannot get hold of them anywhere. Their misleading info has left me in a really bad position and I don't know what to do now! Wouldn't recommend RoofStores and I would suggest avoiding this company if you can.

the list loads of stuff they dont have in stock then cancel the whole order the next day, so you then have to order from someone else but now your a couple of days later for delivery from alternative company.

Sharp Practice…
Roof stores were instrumental in my loss of £ 67 because they took money from my debit card immediately on receiving the order despite knowing that the goods offered and ordered were not actually available.
Despite verbal suggestions that they would provide a credit to my new card this has fizzled out and I have heard nothing further from them.
