Scottish Mountain Gear have just repaired my ski jacket and trousers and replaced zips on my Schofel shooting jacket and Patagonia down jacket. From the start, their service has been seriously impressive. The repairs were done speedily, efficiently and very professionally. My much-loved kit has been given a new lease of life. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great job replacing the main zips on both a Mountain Equipment gortex jacket and a Montane down jacket.

My Musto fenland Jacket of about 4 years old had its main 2 way zip failing. I contacted SMG and got a quote and following it I sent my jacket to them. On the document that I had to send was the suggestion that Musto might pay for this but that it could take up to 3 weeks for the garment to be returned. I sent the jacket and know it arrived at SMG on the morning of 14th August and to my surprise I received the jacket back this morning. Not only was this a terrific turn around, Musto paid for the repair. Well done SMG and Musto.

Having broken the main zip on my very worn, nine-year old running bag, I was prepared to buy a new one. Sent it off to SMG to see if it could be replaced (it's not a standard zip) before I went shopping. It came back within a few weeks and looks like a new bag, complete with shiny, working zip and a patched up hole. Won't be buying a new bag, and in future will send any sports equipment that needs some TLC to Scottish Mountain Gear.

What a fantastic job! I had two mosquito end panels made for my Hilleberg Akto inner to increase the ventilation.. SMG even put in zipped panels to close the mesh! I could not recommend highly enough and a very reasonable price! Many thanks

Having read all the positive feedback for this company I decided to try them out and sent my pre-loved (and ripped) North Face jacket. I received it back mended and dry cleaned within the given period. The jacket is now in better condition than when I first bought it. The delivery service was very fast. Overall I could not recommend them more. Thank you

Absolutely delighted with my tent repair from this local (Scottish) company. Staff were knowledgeable & friendly and responded quick to any questions I had.
The repair itself was exceptional quality and turnaround time of 2 weeks was much less than I expected.

Replaced the elastics on my Hilleberg tent, did a great job.

My Eagle Creek duffel bag had been lost by an airline and then when it was located, they flew it half way round the world (New Zealand to London) and it arrived, with holes, rips and a ruined zip. I really thought it could not be mended but sent it to Scottish Mountain gear who returned it to me a few weeks later in perfect condition. It's as good as new.
I received great service from them and am really impressed by the quality of the repair.

Although the repair took some time (they were obviously VERY busy) Rona was very quick and accurate in replying to my emails. The repair to my ski jacket was as good as I could have hoped for, a great colour match and very neatly done. The patch is almost impossible to see. Definitely money well spent

Needed a complicated zip issue repaired in a rainproof jacket. Excellent service first via email and website form to fill in and item to be despatched to them. We were notified it was in the queue for repair and it arrived not long afterwards. Extremely happy with this company. Great customer service. Job well done. Carmel

I’d damaged my quilted coat when I tripped earlier this year causing a sizeable tear on the right arm socket.
I was referred to this company and they’ve done a fantastic job. They also washed it.
