Nice annexe in lovely area, but was filthy when we arrived
This annexe has the makings of a nice vacation experience in a lovely part of Ireland. However, the filthy state in which the annexe was handy over to us severely marred our 1 week holiday. We spent several hours (after a very long drive !) cleaning the place. If this is the typical condition that the annexe is handed over to clients, I really couldn't recommend it.

Not sure I'd book with them again
I found this company harder deal with than other holiday rental companies. The arrival information was slow to arrive and I had difficulty changing my dates. If you are booking with them make very sure you have all your information correct. I'm not sure I would book with them again.

Shamrock Cottages should regularly inspect the cottages they rent out and determine whether they still meet the requirements and specifications and description.
Furthermore, the photos of the objects must also be kept up to date.

Loved our home from home on the Beara Peninsula. Warm welcome, so well equipped, the comfiest beds and beautiful garden. We loved the stunning views across the bay and watching the sunset on Hungry Hill. The perfect place to explore and to reset.

A positive experience
The self-catering house I stayed in was superb. Very high standard and I though reasonably price. Booking through Shamrock also gave me a 15% discount on my ferry booking across the Irish Sea
