The guides were absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t fault them. The driver who did Rugby-Folkestone and Folkestone-Warwick was unfortunately not as enthusiastic and did come across as rude with some severe breaking and gliding into the hard shoulder on the return leg. The hotel room was small but the beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of high quality toiletries. Unfortunately the only tv channel in English was the news but that didn’t bother us too much. My real concern was the area. In the daytime it was like a ghost town - very few people about but at nighttime there were several gangs of youths which was intimidating. The market was a real bonus. As me and my daughter had things planned we didn’t get to do the Shearings excursions apart from the Saturday evening meal. It would have been nice to incorporate a leisure day in with the tour

Paris lovely .drivers not very helpful.couldnt get food at hotel 1st night..no info on how to get about paris.seat belts to stiff on bus

Had great time away. Taxi & coach transfers excellent from time we got picked up until time we got dropped back off. Main coach from Red Rose Travel was very comfy. Driver Lee & his colleague Dale were very professional, helpful & friendly. Always ready to assist. Ferry crossing going out was great. Hotel in Paris was clean & basic but had everything you needed for a short break although only served breakfast - no evening meals. There were plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance though. Plug socks were in need of attention even trying to use UK adaptors in them - no USB ports so need to take adapter for charging your phone. Trips into Paris were great for whirlwind tour of the sites with a few stops to take photos & a few hours to wonder at leisure. Versailles was amazing with the beautiful gardens & stunning palace. We did buy tickets to palace prior to going as sold out on the day when we went previously. It’s very busy tho so be prepared for crowds. Trip home back on The Shuttle was very quick & exciting as never been on it before. All in all was a great little break but very full on so don’t expect it to be a restful one!

Quite expensive trip considering it is a 4 day tour. Hotel does not provide meals so had to go into town. It would have been better for passengers and crewe to have the meals in the hotels they are staying in. Good itinerary.

I travelled with my teenage son, we both loved Paris, it was perfectly planned out from collection to excursions. Our coach drivers were fantastic, so overall a perfect weekend away.

Have used SHearings for many holidays , travel and hotel excellent I already have my next holiday booked.just a small issue with seat request. This is the second time when I had a pre booked window seat . Someone was sitting in my seat . a suggestion that aisle or window seat is on final schedules

Was a good trip but to say all optional trips were paid in euros only (didn’t take £ or card ) so make sure you take enough euros

Apart from the time taken to pick up passengers and then disembark at the change over coach station the holiday was 3 out of 5. Gave 4 stars as the hotel and our coach drivers were excellent.

Extremely well organised, everything was ontime. Danny & Claire were so attentive, friendly & I would recommend them. Danny is a fabulous coach driver, with years of experience & Claire is very kind, happy, they both went above & beyond to make our trip memorable. Looking forward to making another booking 😀

The trip was good, we seemed to spend an excessive amount of time travelling, Versaille was excellent, the best day of the holiday. I was disapointed that i had to carry my own bag to the hotel and back on to the coach? The fact that the hotel told us we could not have breakfast on our last day we were told the bread would not bvery e delivered? The trip home on the last day was farcical. Shearings told the driver to leave really early 6am, then had to drive aimlessly for over an hour as stop 24 could not cope with us|???? so all in all not good.

We regret your disappointment regarding the early departure and return journey. Our travel schedules are carefully planned to meet operational requirements and external logistics, though we appreciate that on this occasion, the experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments about the extended travel time and timing at Stop 24 have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams for review.

Regarding porterage, while not all of our hotel partners offer this service as standard, our drivers are advised to assist passengers where possible. We regret if this was not made clear or if you felt unsupported during the transfer of your luggage.

We also understand your frustration around breakfast on the final day, your feedback will be reviewed with our hotel partners to ensure improvements are made.

Despite paying a single suppliment I was in a mediocre room. Our guide was disorganised, unproffessional and didn't always give out the correct information. Our driver was very good

Had a lovely weekend all the drivers and staff were excellent. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so didn’t get to see everything. The only drawback is the time restraints and the very early starts.
