Have used SHearings for many holidays , travel and hotel excellent I already have my next holiday booked.just a small issue with seat request. This is the second time when I had a pre booked window seat . Someone was sitting in my seat . a suggestion that aisle or window seat is on final schedules

Was a good trip but to say all optional trips were paid in euros only (didn’t take £ or card ) so make sure you take enough euros

Apart from the time taken to pick up passengers and then disembark at the change over coach station the holiday was 3 out of 5. Gave 4 stars as the hotel and our coach drivers were excellent.

Extremely well organised, everything was ontime. Danny & Claire were so attentive, friendly & I would recommend them. Danny is a fabulous coach driver, with years of experience & Claire is very kind, happy, they both went above & beyond to make our trip memorable. Looking forward to making another booking 😀

The trip was good, we seemed to spend an excessive amount of time travelling, Versaille was excellent, the best day of the holiday. I was disapointed that i had to carry my own bag to the hotel and back on to the coach? The fact that the hotel told us we could not have breakfast on our last day we were told the bread would not bvery e delivered? The trip home on the last day was farcical. Shearings told the driver to leave really early 6am, then had to drive aimlessly for over an hour as stop 24 could not cope with us|???? so all in all not good.

We regret your disappointment regarding the early departure and return journey. Our travel schedules are carefully planned to meet operational requirements and external logistics, though we appreciate that on this occasion, the experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments about the extended travel time and timing at Stop 24 have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams for review.

Regarding porterage, while not all of our hotel partners offer this service as standard, our drivers are advised to assist passengers where possible. We regret if this was not made clear or if you felt unsupported during the transfer of your luggage.

We also understand your frustration around breakfast on the final day, your feedback will be reviewed with our hotel partners to ensure improvements are made.

Despite paying a single suppliment I was in a mediocre room. Our guide was disorganised, unproffessional and didn't always give out the correct information. Our driver was very good

Regarding the single supplement, this fee is charged directly by the hotel to cover the cost of a private room, as these are generally priced higher than rooms shared by multiple guests. Unfortunately, this charge is beyond our control as it is set by the hotel. While we strive to work closely with our hotel partners to ensure accommodations meet the high standards of comfort and quality that our guests expect, we understand that preferences regarding room size, location, and amenities can vary. Had a lovely weekend all the drivers and staff were excellent. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so didn’t get to see everything. The only drawback is the time restraints and the very early starts.

Paris is a lovely city and would visit again. My experience with Shearings and the hotel means I'm unlikely to book with Shearings again. Tour guide was annoying (personal opinion). Hotel room had no tea/coffee making facilities for a lot of the coach party.

Not enough clear guidance as to where to wait for coach at services. Transfer at Folkestone was straightforward, apart from the fact there were no tannoys for separate coaches. Main tour guides were very good, enthusiastic and chatty. Hotel was very clean and welcoming, but no hot food, so breakfast was continental with hot drinks available. Town (very pretty!) was few minutes walk, which had bars, cafes and supermarket, amongst other shops. Extra excursions offered for those who wanted them, and it wasn't a 'hard sell', so no pressure to be obliged to sign up for them. It would be extremely useful if a printed guide/leaflet was available with information on how to get to central Paris from the hotel via public transport, detailing which Metro lines/stops are needed.

Was waiting at the drop off for nearly a hour at Woodhall Services before the feeder bus arrived. Also was supposed to have a night tour and meal of Paris which we paid extra for, we had the meal but no tour and also the room my daughters stayed in smelt of sewerage. They did get offered to move but there room was next to ours so they didn't want too. On a positive note the bus drivers to Paris were very good Ross & Danny.

Very good travel arrangements with excellent drivers. Hotel room good but location very poor. No evening restaurant and no bar open on last night. No local restaurants in the area available, only a takeaway. Good optional coach trips and handy access to metro to explore Paris.

Really well organised feeder coach and tour coach, coach staff very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Big shout out to Rich and Derek our tour coach drivers who made our trip enjoyable and fun. We had a quiz to break the journey up and so many recommendations for this and future trips! We didn’t do the optional excursions as we had our own itinerary but those we spoke to said they were great value for money and really enjoyable. Great town that we stopped in with its own history, full of local patisseries and restaurants. Hôtel was beautiful, clean and the bar well stocked and quaint. Barman/receptionist also very knowledgeable of the local area, friendly and polite. Thanks for a brilliant weekend.
