Just had our annual boiler service done
(by Robert Shepley) and a fire valve replacement recently (by Karl)
Absolutely Brilliant Service AS USUAL !!

As always, Robert was on time, polite and very respectful of the house. Have always had a very good level of work on my yearly service of my combi boiler. The booking process is sa simple ring into the office and booked in. He always has a little time for a chat too! Highly recommend this company.

As ever, very friendly efficient service. On this occasion had the central heating system flushed, and inhibitor put back in.

There was a simple booking process. Robert serviced the boiler and was efficient and thorough. He is always very professional, polite and respectful. I have no hesitation recommending Shepley Ltd.

Sadly, I completely trusted Shepley Heating for over 10 years and wished their business well, but when things went wrong over a Fluid Master Valve they dropped me as a customer instead of resolving issues in a friendly manner. After that episode. On 22nd April 2026 Derrick finally fitted a missing flue pipe bracket which I had asked for, rectifying its initial omission, on my Boiler installation which Shepley had fitted. Due to omitting the bracket for 7 years Shepley Heating repeatedly issued me with 7 illegal Landlord Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) which were all unsafe and non-compliant and considered a danger to my tenants. Issuing those 7 illegal certificates was a breach of GSIUR which is a disciplinary offence. This is the type of case Gas Safe and HSE get involved in. Whilst Derrick was here I asked about the chemicals which needed to go in to the system and he was not prepared to tell me. His response was nasty, angry and very unhelpful telling me to find out for myself. It's such a shame Gas Engineers can be helpful when they want your business and horrible when things go wrong. Its also a shame when Pride in ones work becomes Arrogance and Arrogance becomes Bullying. Much better just to be kind!

Once again, the annual service of my heating system was carried out with care and efficiency - all in good hands!

The work which included a leak, pressure and an issue with the motorised valve was sorted out quickly and tidied up before leaving.
Highly recommended.

We had the overflow letting out water. They came out within 48 hours to check diagnosed it was the expansion bottle, ordered a replacement and fitted it with 48 hours of diagnosing the problem.

After having Shepley Heating & Plumping to fit a new boiler for us 12months ago, we did not hesitate to have them do our annual service. We would highly recommend them.

This is my go to heating company. Professional, prompt, polite and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to help. Within half an hour of reporting that my boiler had broken down, Derek was on site. This time the problem could not be fixed instantly as it was a broken oil pump but he arranged for it to be sorted with Worcester Bosch under guarantee. Lovely family company which I recommend without hesitation.

Rob turned up in the allotted time for our annual boiler service. He walked me a couple of issues that I will now monitor.
