AVOID!!! Read review for my tips on getting a refund

Sadly like all the other reviews below I did not have a good experience with Sistaglam. Having ordered a dress of theirs from Next which I loved I was keen to order two more direct from Sistaglam. However one dress never showed up and the other whilst lovely did not fit. After multiple emails to their customer service with no response I found Naomi's email on the reviews below. I finally got a response from Naomi in which she refunded the dress that never showed and agreed for me to return for the other dress. I then chase multiple times and threaten to go via Paypal to get the refund for the returned dress only to receive £150 of the £160 it originally cost. More emails and excuses later I finally received the full refund and I am glad to be rid of this mess.

My advice to those trying to get a refund:
- email Naomi, she does eventually reply naomi@sistaglam . co.uk (delete spaces it wouldnt let me post)
- if you paid through Paypal or credit card, please tell Naomi this and if they dont action refunds that you will open a dispute
- ensure you send back your return via a tracked delivery which is signed for and has a photo taken of it. This helped me when emailing Naomi as I sent the picture of her signature on the delivery photo
- if you really MUST have a dress from them, order it from Next. Otherwise do not waste your time and money! The stress is not worth it!

Check companies house...

A long, but detailed and honest review...

I ordered 2 dresses, 1 too big and the other slightly faulty. I was fully aware of the tight returns period (14 day from dispatch, not receipt) so I requested to return the items via their online portal. Received an email saying they would email once the return was approved. One week later, still nothing. So I followed up with their customer service - no reply. A couple of days later I emailed again, this time mentioning Trading Standards and accusing them of delay tactics for my return (no reply). So I did a bit more rummaging and found a returns slip on their website. Feeling a little nervous about the lack of response, and the fact that my return hadn't been "approved" I returned the items by special delivery to arrive by 1pm the next day, costing me over £12.

I checked the next day, and the parcel couldn't be delivered as there was no reponse (on a Friday). So I tentatively checked again today (Monday) and the parcel had been received and signed for.

I then thought to check Trustpilot and had a mild panic attack over the amount of negative reviews. But saw Naomi's email address on a couple of post responses. So I emailed her today expressing my concerns to preempt any issues, provided a timeline of all the key dates for my order and that I had set a reminder to contact them in 10 days if I hadnt received my refund. I also noted that I would contact the director of the business (Joseph Elliot Corin - details on companies house), Trading Standards and Paypal if I didn't hear anything.

Within a couple of minutes, I had a notification from Paypal that my return had been processed. Their standard timelines are 10 working days but Naomi kindly processed it straight away. To which I thanked her, and my heart rate slowed down!

The optimist in me would like to think that my refund would have been processed without me sending that email. But we'll never know.

Alongside this, I checked them out on Companies House. The company are overdue submitting their financial statements from and have an active proposal to strike them off the companies house register. I also checked out Niss Fashions (who I received delivery notifications from) and this appears to be owned by a relative of Joesph Corin, Mozelle Corin.

In summary, from my experience, there appears to be no one monitoring the customer service email. Their return request function does not seem to be working, so just print the label from their returns policy page. On a more serious note, their company looks to be in trouble based on the information available on companies house.

My experience after emailing Naomi has been great though, I'm relieved to have my refund. I'm sorry that there are many others that haven't.

Financially out of pocket and zero customer service

Unfortunately I have only come to Trustpilot to see if I was alone in being financially ripped off by Sistaglam. I’m now gutted to see I am one of many customers who has completed a return in line with the Sistaglam returns policy. I have emailed multiple times and contacted them via Instagram. But zero response and zero refund! I have now tried contacting Naomi having seen her name come up in the complaints below. I really hope she can help.

Avoid this company! Do not buy

If I could give 0 stars I would!

I purchased a dress and returned it within the 14 day period and they received the item back on the 27th March - it is now the 29th of April and I haven't received a refund. I have emailed twice with no reponse.

They aren't adhering to consumer contracts regulations and now I am going to have to contact the Consumer Ombudsman and my credit card provider to try and get my refund.

It's such bad service and I don't believe they should be able to continue trading.

Do not buy from this site

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE.
I only raised a dispute with PayPal when Sistaglam failed to process a refund after weeks of chasing. I chased Naomi at Sistaglam daily for weeks and despite admitting the item was out of stock and had not been dispatched, they failed to refund my money. Luckily I have received my money via PayPal who settled the dispute in my favour.

Do not buy from this site. My order didn't arrive and Sistaglam failed to issue a refund. Luckily I had paid with PayPal and was given my money back using PayPal's buyer protection scheme. After 6 weeks of chasing Sistaglam I got nowhere. I only gave 1 star as I couldn't select 0

Literally the worst online retailer i…

Literally the worst online retailer i have ever come across! I ordered 4 dresses for a black tie event. 2/4 arrived over a week late for the event. I sent them back with proof of purchase (i can see who signed for them) and the other two still have never arrived! I am £350 down and own no dresses from Sistaglam! I have reached out to them several times, no response, tried to find a phone number but it does not exist! Complete cowboys and a disgrace in this day and age! I am taking this further soon by complaining to the financial ombudsman and logging a formal complaint on companies house.

DO NOT ORDER from this company. I am so disappointed after ordering their items from other retailers before i never dreamnt ordering direct would be so problematic.
I ordered 5 dresses for choice. Only 2 dresses arrived and they have taken the full order amount of £480. I have since returned the 2 dresses i did recieve via recorded delivery and sent numerous emails and i have heard nothing back! I am currently £480 down and i will be taking this further! So disappointed!! I will not be buying from these from any website or direct again.

Disgraceful.

I ordered 4 dresses for choice. Kept 1 and returned 3 for a refund of &205. Proof of delivery by Royal Mail but have not received a refund. I have emailed numerous times but absolutely no response. I can’t afford to lose this money. Sistaglam PLEASE respond to your customers.
UPDATE - I’ve updated to 3stars as my refund has been authorised. It’s a shame my previous emails were ignored and I had to resort to posting here to get a response but the main thing is i will not lose my money. I suggest anyone waiting for a refund email the address in the reply to this review with proof of your return.

Still waiting for my refund, emailed several times and nothing back at all.
They ow me £96!! This is absolutely disgusting and you just take people’s money like this and think its a ok not to refund people. How do you even run a business, SCAMMERS!

If I do not hear back this next week I’ll will be reporting them to the trading standards and I’ll take this as far as I need to, to get my money back.

**update at the bottom** Scam company - they WILL STEAL FROM YOU. Do not order from this company. My order was delivered after 6 days, in a makeshift, battered box. No delivery note was included in the package. I kept one item (overpriced, but nice dress) and returned the others (returns paid for by me (£12.50), which I was aware of beforehand). Since my return there has been zero communication from the company. Not even an email confirming they have received my return (I have proof and photo of delivery). Customer service is non existent. They delete all negative comments from social media. I have ordered their clothing previously from Next so didn't consider that they may be a scam company. I wish I had read these reviews prior to ordering. They have stolen over £400 of my money!
****They DO NOT communicate via their website as I tried that route and they ignored me. I will update if I receive my refund, but as of 30 January no refund received****

Terrible customer service

Received dresses in good time and I liked them but not quite the right fit.
Contacted the company via email, phone and social channels. No response.
Followed the returns online and so far no refund almost 2 weeks later.
Wrote a letter with returns including my phone number, email, details etc and sent package tracked so I know it has been signed for.
Writing this review because it's the only place they have responded to anyone as far as I can see so hoping they will confirm they have received my return and will refund me.
I wish I could recommend this company as I think the dresses are beautiful. But cannot recommend them because of the terrible customer service.

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS - DO NOT BUY

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS DO NOT BUY.
I ordered 4 dresses from them, returned all 4 and have only been refunded for 3, I have evidence that the weight of the parcel delivered weighed the same as the parcel returned. I have emailed them 3 times, no response, tried to call customer service but conveniently the number doesn’t work. £110 out of pocket!
I will be reporting to trading standards and claiming charge back through my credit card. Buyers check out their profile on companies house, appalling! I’m surprised reputable retailers such as Next and Silkfred stock their clothes with such appalling customer service and business acumen, I can only imagine how they treat their suppliers!

Scam artists

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering from these scam artists.
They don’t respond to emails, don’t issue refunds, customer services number doesn’t exist and the quality of the clothing is appalling, am currently in the process of reporting to trading standards

Literally impossible to return items

UPDATE FOLLOWING SISTAGLAM REPLY -
A bit rich saying I can return an item now that I'm approx a month outside of the returns period. I cannot stress enough DO NOT SHOP HERE!

No response when I emailed twice about returning an item. Thankfully I only bought one thing and it does fit (unfortunately a few snags in the material as it's really cheap but I thought that would be the case for approx £90). But to think you cannot return anything is incredulous. Despite liking the dress and others on their website I will never ever order from Sistaglam again and will be telling friends/family. Disgusting way to treat customers so I won't be supporting their shoddy business.

Awful Customer Service - Order Elsewhere

As per all the other reviews, it is impossible to get a refund from this company. They do not process refunds in line with their company policy.
The telephone number does not exist and they do not respond to emails or queries raised on their customer service enquiry portal.
You may be able to claim a refund under Section 75 if you have paid by Credit Card. This is the only way you will get your refund.

Awful company, would give zero stars if I could

Awful company, will not be ordering from them again! No answer from emails to customer service. Telephone number does not work! Currently £160 down, will be raising a theft report with credit card company!
So disappointing and shameful companies can act this way!

Again I’d give no stars if possible. Currently £165 out of pocket after returning 2 dresses within the correct time frame. No response to emails & no working telephone number to make contact. Absolutely disgusted. Won’t ever use again. Not sure how i stand for refund now?

I would not order direct from this…

I would not order direct from this company their customer service is terrible for refunds. The number on their website doesn't exist and they never respond by email. Resorted to random posts on their social media pages to get a response. Waiting for refund hopefully it should arrive tomorrow.

I would give 0 stars if I could.

I'm seeing this with many reviews, I returned my dresses to the address they provided. The address was wrong but I did not put a return address so the parcel was sent to Royal Mail returns centre - Royal Mail have not been able to trace it.

I've told Sistaglam that they need to refund me as they provided incorrect information. I received a notification from PayPal for the £150 refund and a few days later, another saying there has been an issue and they are following up with Sistaglam.

I've emailed them again. Next step will be the Consumer Ombudsman.
