We experienced really great Customer…
We experienced really great Customer care leading up to what was a really big decision for us to buy a Motor home. John was great and answered so many questions. He gave us time to reflect and I did not feel any pressure.
The Hand over was well facilitated by Neil who again took his time with us sharing his knowledge and experience.
A few basic but essential things you need to know about when purchasing a motor home or caravan for the first time.
ie Hook up Cable(Which luckily we asked about as the Motorhome did not have one! This was quickly rectified by the staff as we were heading straight to a site after purchase to 'Test' the Motorhome out before leaving the County! in case we ran into problems.
Fresh water Hose.
Desirables
Ramps... Our first site was on a slope! which made for interesting tilt!
The cleaning in the van seems to have been done and the Motor home looked clean and smart externally too. However the Grills and Vents had not been cleaned and the roof was laiden with pine needles too!
Overall, I think t was the initial customer care is the reason for the 5 star rating.
I think that Spinney is lucky to have such an inclusive and welcoming/knowledgeable team.

Becky was very helpful when I went to look at a caravan. When a problem was found after I agreed to buy, they offered me another more expensive caravan at the same price.
The handover with Barry was great and he was very helpful. I would have no issue with recommending Spinney to anyone.

James was our salesman, and he definitely knows his stuff ,very helpful and when we picked up faults, he's arranging for them to be sorted. Price of our van was very competitive, compared to other vans that we viewed. Plus you get the benefit of 10% off from purchasing in the shop . Good team to deal with.

Obviously when they have your money that’s it
Well after a 400 mile journey with my brand new motorhome with 700 miles on the clock battery went flat overnight got recovery out they got me home rings spinney day after and was told to buy a battery charger , even though 200 miles done my battery wasn’t charging obviously not holding charge but lady on phone wouldn’t listen, class act this place

We bought our dream VW from Spinney
From start to finish, from phoning to express an interest, to driving our VW out into the wilds of Queensferry, every contact we had with Spinney was extremely friendly and professional. I loved the completely relaxed way Steve Jones allowed us to look at the van, not pressuring us in any way. The van was given a mechanical service by a VW dealership, and a habitation service by Spinney. The van was low mileage and immaculate, and given that LWB DSG 150bhp Highline T6.1s converted by Redline are pretty rare, we were, and still are, delighted.
