We collected our car yesterday and, unfortunately, have already encountered an issue. Despite reaching out multiple times—via three emails, an online enquiry, and a call to Customer Service—I’ve received no meaningful support. I was simply advised to visit the manufacturer’s garage, as they said they can’t diagnose the problem.
I find this response very disappointing. Considering the vehicle was only collected yesterday, I expected a much higher level of aftercare and immediate support. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and concerned about the service and questioning this deal. I am considring retunring vehicle at this point but might just hace to drive there to be able to have a conversation.

I have a software update problem with my Peugeot 3008 so telephoned the above dealership, no one answered so was automatically transferred to Stellantis main booking department . They were unable to help so transferred me back to the actual dealership despite me informing them that they were not answering the phone. After holding on for over ten minutes I was cut off. This happened a second time as well. I have over the past few years tried to contact this dealership and always the same happens THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. In my opinion they are either extremely understaffed or cannot be bothered to pick up the calls. Either way I have taken my custom elsewhere and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

If I could pick zero I would. First of all we buy a brand new car from you , only to have the engine management light come on after 3 days , you take it back to get ‘ fixed ‘ yet again after another 3 days the lights appears again !!! We drive to Birmingham to give you the car back on the 12th December and it’s now the 30th December and I’m still waiting for my 25k , totally unacceptable even with the bank holidays in between , we receive hardly any communication at all and they have just been filled with empty promises.

Booked my car in for diagnostic told them what the problem was on the phone beforehand, dropped my car off on the day got a phone call couple of hours later instead of telling me what the problem is why it was booked in the first place tried to tell me that other issues with the car which have nothing do with the issue are causing that issue. Then I asked have you took it for a test drive no answer then I asked why am I paying £150 to be told that you don't know what the problem is and you need further time. AVOID!!

Update- My Peugeot 208 GT broke down in Banbury on Tuesday 30 July. The vehicle had to be recovered by a Breakdown company.
The following morning (Wednesday 31 July), I phoned the Birmingham Central showroom to be told there would be a six week wait for a vehicle diagnostics test, and no courtesy car would be provided although the car purchased from that branch is less than two years old and under a 3 year warranty. Then I enquired with other local branches (Bromsgrove, Redditch) only to be told there were similar waiting periods.
The Stellantis and you Abarth Birmingham Central Sales Manager, Mr Wright was then contacted expressing our dissatisfaction snd he said an appointment was brought forward to Wednesday 14 August, still a two week wait and no courtesy car offered. I sent numerous e-mails to Mr Wright in the meantime which were all ignored. Last year, I had the same experience with him after my car had been stolen when he said in the presence of two other people accompanying me not to bring the car to their garage to look at any potential damage.
Subsequently there was a phone call from Mr Rhaman at that branch to say the car cannot be looked at until the following Monday (19 August) as the Master Technician was away. I asked him why Mr Wright had arranged for the Vehicle Diagnostics on Wednesday 14 August knowing this, and raised issues about no courtesy car, unanswered e-mails and he claimed that Mr Wright is on Annual Leave. Then I responded that Mr Wright had behaved in this manner last year, and then this salesperson hung up on the phone. A few minutes later, he replied to a text that I had sent two days previously ignoring the comments made and just briefly mentioned to call Stellantis and you Birmingham Central for any queries.
There has been consistent poor service. A salesperson was dismissed in 2022 by the previous manager Shiv for poor service, errors and general performance (denied by Ms Gaut when I met her on 19 August). I was offered a free valet which I have never received in spite of mentioning this to the new management. There is not even a service record book
People who I know have also said they will not use the Birmingham Central branch as they have been unimpressed by the level of performance which is clearly unacceptable.
On Friday 16 August, there were conflicting phone calls. Firstly, Stellantis and You Abarth Birmingham Central phoned me in the morning to say nothing wrong could be found with the car from a Vehicle Diagnostics test and they wanted £150 to cover this. Later there was a conversation with Mr Rhamam, who said no Master Technician was available until early the following week. He kept phoning my household and discussing these matters not to myself the only vehicle owner which is a breach of GDPR regulations. When asked why an appointment had been made this week when no Technician was available, he dodged this question and said the car is not under a 3-year warranty and as the car had previously been stolen (the electronics and bodywork was performed by Aviva's approved repairers), Stellantis and you Abarth Birmingham Central would not be liable for any repair work. We responded so are you saying this contract does not apply and to contract our insurers, then his story changed. As Mr Shaman is not the manager, he has no authority discussing such matters.
Since the first Trust Pilot review, I met with Ms Gaut (Birmingham Central Manager) on Monday 19 August accompanied by a family member and her Technician. Prior to the meeting, she left a Voice call message to say there would be drinks and sounded fairly relaxed, but at the meeting no drinks were offered and she was rude and aggressive. Her Technician was trying to argue that the mechanical/technical issues were due to a flat battery caused by a historical theft but these arguments were confused and inconsistent. Actually there were technical/mechanical faults when I first bought the car as it had to be kept in their garage for a week before it was safe to drive actioned by Mr Islam and Shiv who no longer works there. When these issues were raised Ms Gaut raised her voice and said the meeting would be terminated. It appears this story has come from Mr Wright (Sales Manager) who handled the matter last year. This is now the second occasion where I have been without a car for significant periods, and no courtesy car provided despite being under Stellantis's Hire Purchase scheme costing me £314 per month.
A number of e-mails were sent up until Friday 23 August when Ms Gaut stopped replying. She was unhelpful and would not arrange for cosmetic repairs to be made and mentioned a fee of £250 for a new battery. My work involves travel across the UK this has caused much inconvenience and expense using public transport (buses, trains, coaches and taxis) to and from work.

I had to call a call centre who seemed pretty useless on the phone. They booked a video call for next day and 2 days later still waiting for the call.
Spoke to a salesman to confirm a car was available to buy and he confirmed it was. Explained 100 miles away and agreed a meeting 2 hours later. When we got there we could look at the car but not buy it as there was a small holding deposit on the car. Disappointed that had not been told the truth up front and even more angry after 5 hour drive back on M5.
Not the best introduction to the company!

Welcoming Staffs
Offered a drink, looking round the showroom made me relax while documenting in my car.
Was offered Ubber to take me back and another to bring me when the car was ready, this made me super productive the whole day and i could not even worry about my vehicle.

Friendly and professional communication throughout the purchasing process from both Arafat and Lorraine. Very informative initially so I was able to make a considered decision. I liked that they were enthusiastic at my excitement at first seeing my new car. All paperwork was simple and straightforward and clearly explained.

CANNOT GET HOLD OF THEM!
I went into the Birmingham central branch (Small Heath Highway) about a month ago - at least - to order a new remote key for my FIAT500. I provided my driver’s licence, proof of ownership (logbook) and proof of address. I was told that the key would be ordered and then I’d need to come in again for it to be programmed and collected. I have heard nothing. I have tried to call but keep being passed back and forwards to the head office, and nobody seems able to help me. I have emailed and had no reply. I have tried using the chat with a 'bot' on the website, but the system stalled when 'passing me to an agent'. It's as if the company doesn't exist. I am increasingly despondent about this situation.

I have been driving and purchasing Citroens from Citroen Birmingham since 1993. Until 2023 I had excellent service. However since they were taken over by Stellantis they are appalling. Previously I knew all the staff who have been “let go”. One was able, as a valued customer, to phone directly to the garage and sort out what you wanted. I have always had a service contract which included a courtesy car. However this is no longer available. You have to pay for a courtesy car on top of the monthly payments covering service costs. I agreed to do this as I have a busy day. However I learnt today that no car is available due to a mistake in their booking system! I must wait at the garage for one and a half hours for my car to be serviced But I have an appointment 20 miles away. I am furious. Think I must go back to Mercedes who I was with before. I used to get wonderful courtesy cars from them. I see they have replied saying they would offer another date for my service with a courtesy car. I asked them to call back with some dates when I could have a car but received no further call. One simply feels that no one in this company will put themselves re out to give good customer service. How times have changed. I went to collect my car at 10.30 as arranged. It needed washing I was told it would be 10 minutes so I sat talking to two men in the service department who were very pleasant but it took an hour before I got my car!!! It really is the limit.

Disappointing after last years missing oil cap debacle after my last C4 annual service. I expected better this time!
Took 2.5 months to get the earliest appointment for 12/01/2024.
Planned appt @8.00am for annual (minor) service, MOT and an ad blue software recall / update.
Parking was a nightmare on this site, worse I have ever experienced!
Car checked in at service reception@ 8am.
Agreed collection at 3pm. I received call around 11am to say wouldn't be ready until 5pm.
My App shows car engine wasn't even started until almost 2pm! MOT emissions test confirms this.
Got another call @ 3.15pm to say car will be ready at 4pm..
Arrived at 4.15pm... car wasn't ready.. had to wait another hour, eventually leaving just before 5.30.
Honestly, 9.5 hours for a minor service, MOT and a software upgrade ?
The car didn't move for almost 6 hours!
If you are this busy, you are not managing customer expectations.
Just as well I resolved the original key issue myself and cancelled the diagnostics... Lord knows how long that would have taken!
However, I did ask for a battery health check ( as this was the cause of my key issue) which wasn't done!
Can't fault the young service agent when I collected the car, I complained to him, he apologized and he reduced the MOT cost by £15 which was appreciated.. told me a manager would follow up..
1 week later.. no contact.. yet another failure!
Hence this review.
Yes I had the foresight to book a courtesy car, but my car taking 9.5 hours to complete.. 6 hours of which it hadn't even had its engine started or moved an inch!
Not impressed with wasting almost 12 hours of a day ( incl travelling time) just to get this work done!
Very disappointing for 2nd year running @B'ham Central.
After 20 years of Citroen ownership, sadly you are nowhere near as good a dealership as you once were (Citroen Bham, or Robins and Day).
I have never waited 9.5 hours for a car service!
On the upside... you did replace the oil cap this time... yes I checked before I drove it !
Be advised....
I have 1 more service left on my service plan...
If my next experience is no better, I shall be taking my business elsewhere.. when the cars due for changing, it will be your loss.. Honestly, I can live without the stress and the 70 mile round trip to your dealership.

Bought a used car 1 year ago, and they were friendly and helpful at the time. The previous sales manager failed to follow through on the free servicing I was offered as part of the deal (usually confirmed via a personal email that I never received)
Although initially refused, Reece the current Sales Manager at Birmingham Central has been amazing and has gone to great lengths to resolve the issue. Lesson learned - make sure you get everything in writing at the time before leaving the dealership! But also very grateful that there are still excellent examples of outstanding customer service - thank you Reece!
