The salesman Chris was excellent, listened to what we wanted and came up with a deal that we were very happy with, no hard sell or bullsh, new what he was talking about making it an excellent experience.

Very good dealing with these people, apart from getting good deals on vehicles they are friendly and very obliging.

I took my car in for a service the morning of Saturday 18th March 2023 and was very pleased with the overall experience. The lady who dealt with my booking was very attentive and thoroughly so too her colleague who dealt with the actual service. I waited for my car and they were on point with the waiting time, in fact it was quicker than i had expected.

Ashleigh provided us with an Excellent service. Car was valeted also after the service

Went to Robins and Day Manchester on 31.12.22 to purchase one of their pre registered cars. Chris the salesman was lovely and I chose a car, we went on a test drive, and then went inside to deal with my part exchange price, sign the paperwork etc. After completing I went outside to take a photograph of my new car and saw that the price on the windscreen was £500 less than I had been charged. I queried this with Chris and we went back inside to speak to the manager. I was informed by the manager that the price on the windscreen is a guide price only and can go up or down. As I pointed out, I don’t expect to buy a tin of beans in Tesco with a price of 50p on only to be told at the checkout that this is a guide price only and they are in fact 75p. I felt very disappointed and that they had taken advantage of my naivety. I wouldn’t have even known that the price had been inflated if I hadn’t gone outside to take a photograph in my excitement at buying a new car.
I subsequently received an email from Robins and Day confirming that the price on the windscreen is a guide price only and fluctuates according to the market. The car had in fact been 3 different prices in December alone - £16389, £17100 and £16867 and is due to be increased again in January (confirmed in the email). This has really put me off buying a car from Robins and Day - you could buy a car one day and it could drop in price significantly the next day. It seems a very big gamble. And even if this practice does go on, they could at least change the price on the windscreen and not advertise at a lower price than you will actually be paying.
