As a tenant, I would never recommend doing business…
I would never recommend doing business with this company, Strutt & Parker, and its employees. They encourage property owners to evict tenants without any valid reason. There is no UK law that would protect you and your family from being treated as commodities. :-(
Viewed a property with them and offered…
Viewed a property with them and offered in writing as requested after the appointment. Didn’t hear anything back for a few days so called to chase and to be told another offer was accepted. I wasn’t called to ask if I wanted to increase my offer which I would have done to the asking price or even over asking price.
The viewing assistant said on the appointment the house will be redecorated before move in and to make sure we put that down on the offer which we did. When I called them to check on my offer they said they have gone with another offer because they didn’t want it painted. (We didn’t request this but the agent said it would be so we wrote it down)
They sound absolutely clueless on the phones and obviously don’t communicate or know how to work for their landlords or they could have got more money from me.
Told the lady I wouldn’t rent from them ever after this first experience with them all I can say very disappointing for a ‘well known’ agent in the area.
Fantastic branch to deal with.
I am renting a property through Strutt + Parker in Ascot. Best letting agents I have ever dealt with. Very helpful, friendly and any property/maintenance issues are resolved almost straight away. I can't fault their dedication to providing a great customer experience.

Exemplary client focus from the Salisbury office. Many thanks to Sarah for her team leadership and advice, Harry for handling the sale so well and Natalie for excellent administration. A pleasure to deal with.
Thank you to Amy McMenemy
On behalf of my Husband & I, we wanted to extend our gratitude to Amy McMenemy in the proactive experience she provided for us throughout our journey to sell our property. We emigrated and left the sale of our home in the hands of Amy. In a somewhat tumultuous market, to say we were apprehensive about finding a buyer in a timely manner would be an understatement. It was through Amy’s tenacity and dedication from chasing every lead, to revisiting previously interested parties that she secured us a good buyer.
We found her communication style extremely easy to work with, especially given we are now on the other side of the world.
We have used Strutts for the last two sales of our properties & Amy exemplifies the great reputation they’ve built up over many years.
Thank you Amy. We would personally ask for you next time should we return to the UK property market in future.
Mr & Mrs Wilson.
S & P aren't listening !
I am continually bombarded by unsolicited mail regarding my house being on the market in Mid Cheshire.
The house has not been on the market since 1978 !
After last mail I emailed Adam Palmer to desist from sending it. Doesn't seem to have worked as yet again-another one falls on my hall carpet !
Professional and helpful
From the initial meeting right through to completion they provided an excellent service, doing what they said they would do. They responded quickly and made the difficult experience of selling almost a joy!
A professional and trustworthy company
A professional and trustworthy company. Orchid Ho, my renewals negotiator, dealt with my tenancy renewal efficiently and kept me up to date on progress at every point of the renewal.

Wouldnt do any work with this firm in the future. Took months to pay a small invoice for works carried out at one of their managed properties. Kept asking to change the invoice address, all squabbling between each other who's department had the authority to issue payment. Complete circus full of clowns.
Strutt & Parker Morpeth
Jason & Annabel are charming and produced a large number of viewings and offers so couldn’t fault them!
Absolutely terrible agent
Absolutely terrible agent. Their access procedure is abysmal. I would not use their services in any shape or form.
Strutt and Parker Canterbury
Joe and Simon at Strutt and Parker Canterbury have been excellent in the pre and post house purchase support. Thank you very much.
Always positive experience dealing…
Always positive experience dealing with Stutt & Parker. Consistently informed advice, high quality customer service, unflappability and patience.
Rude staff
I showed Interest online about letting a property owned by Strut and Parker but the phone manner of the agent immediately put me off. She treated me like I was hugely inconveniencing and was just down right rude. Noped out if that and they just lost my business! This was in oxfordshire
Strutt & Parker Lewes
Strutt & Parker Lewes are the reason estate agents get a poor name. They dragged us on for two weeks, avoiding talking on the phone, not giving any indication of when they would contact us and becoming short & rude when called on their day off, which had the agent (James) informed us of his working times, would not have happened. Being rude for his mistake was not appreciated.
They even had the audacity to update pictures of the property we had applied for on Rightmove before informing us that we were unsuccessful (for no reason other than our pets which they assured us would be no problem when viewing.)
Avoid this estate agent if you want to get an honest and timely service !
Strutt & Parker in Ipswich and Norwich
Strutt & Parker used to be professional and well regarded estate agents. Their business was sustained by building long term relationships. This has now changed to a transactional approach. Their people seem to be entirely focussed on their own personal commission. They show little understanding of the housing stock or property market. They care not a jot for the vendor. Their telephone manner is ill-mannered to the point of being aggressive. They pay little attention to detail and are markedly lacking in principles.
Very friendly staff but some room for improvement
Very friendly staff. However we had to correct and re-write quite a lot of the sales brochure to correct errors. Greater background and checking of prospective purchasers would have helped plus more proactive post viewing feedback and follow up. Achieved a good sale price in the end though.
Corruption
Further to my below comments, I would like to bring to the publics attention 17 Hollow Street, Chislet, CT34DS is still occupied with eight people contrary to enforcement orders numbering 12 over the past 29 years, three high court orders from a circuit judge ordering the site to be cleared, the most recent being a high court judge in 2018. CCC planning enforcement request these orders to clear the site, demolition of dangerous structures and remove several hundred tonnes of rubbish. The above is still in situ with it being run as a boarding house. It has been used as a drug factory, stealing and selling car parts on the internet along with dispersing small quantities of drugs within the community all with the blessing of CCC and the grace of Archbishop of Canterbury. It was brought to his attention and he didn't have the courtesy to reply. Finns and co of wingham high street have since been instructed to carry out site measurement, both plots of land were sold by measurements by the city council and Church of England, they have the deeds so they have the measurements but they still carry on condoning criminality on the site and failed to follow the orders of the Secretary of State and planning inspector to clear the site. These enforcements span since 2004.
A six bedroomed house was build on the site, enforcement was brought against Paul McCleave, it was demolished in 2016 yet they left the rest standing. Finns are preparing a new report which has already been commissioned by Strutt and parker, at Margaret's street Canterbury, I find it difficult to understand why the Church of England have taken no action and pulled down the strictures that are on their land.
All above parties have been supplied with copies of the deeds and contract with the sizes on them.
Strutt and Parker - Ascot Office
Strutt and Parker, Ascot Office: We rented a property in Sunningdale through the Strutt & Parker lettings team at Ascot. They were extremely professional in the handling of all aspects of the rental. Strutt & Parker also managed the property during our tenancy. Special mention in that respect must go to Philippa Ives, Associate Director of Property Management. Philippa was very attentive and understanding of any issues we raised; she kept us fully briefed of instructed works and was respectful and polite towards us as tenants - something that has not always been the case in our experience when previously renting. At the outset of the tenancy Philippa made several visits to the property to ensure all was in order and take note of our comments post check-in. Again, at the end of the tenancy she was exceptionally helpful with the various check-out related activities that had to be undertaken. We would like to thank the lettings team and Philippa for her support & help as the PM when renting through Strutt & Parker.

Friendly and highly professional service. Responsive and reliable.
