I highly recommend this company. Alison and James managed to fight my corner and get a mortgage application accepted through a sole proprietor/ joint borrower option. They were both very professional and approachable during the whole process as well as keeping a positive attitude with any hiccups along the way. I’m now enjoying my new house which I never believed I would get without the help of these two. It’s been a journey and a successful one.

We were recommended James Carson-Lee as a mortgage broker by our daughter who he helped navigate buying her first flat in London. From the beginning James was very open and approachable and did not bombard us with jargon and was eminently patient with my many questions. With the support of Alison, Sussex Mortgages gave us a fantastic service and I really appreciated that they spent time and effort in making the whole process very smooth and easy to understand. James not only managed to find me a lender at an exceptional rate (one that was not available to me on the high street) but he took full ownership of all the bumps and blockages throughout the process often going above and beyond even the most reasonable expectation. Alongside James, Vicki provided expert and timely support, was always available for a call or update and both provided excellent and accurate communication throughout the process.

The mortgage application process can be terribly admin heavy and intense but James makes it fun, he loves to exceed expectations on his customer service and most importantly the interest rate and monthly payment he secures you.

I have worked with mortgage brokers for 13 years and he’s one of the very few who do best by client and not how much commission they’ll make from the bank/lender, for placing a mortgage with them.

James (Carson-Lee) was great to deal with when we switched out mortgage provider. From start to finish, he was on hand to help, from explaining why certain lenders were better for us based on our situation, to the finer details, such as when our first payment would be due.

The deal on the mortgage we got through James is very good, and our repayments are very reasonable.

Great advice and service, We are not the best when it comes to property investment, but Paula & Paul guided us through everything in a courteous professional manner, even when we were being difficult. Definitely would recommend them

Remortgaging can be pretty stressful but James sorted everything and got me a much better deal that I thought I'd get. If you look up ace human in the dictionary I'm pretty sure there'd be a picture of James there. He also got me a much better life insurance policy than the one I was currently on.

I worked with James on 2 very successful occasions and referred him 3 of my very close friends, the experience was essentially a text book of success.
