We had exceptional service from Sytner Newport.
We had exceptional service from the sales team at Sytner Newport, particularly Joel. We had a specific list of requirements in order to purchase a ‘nearly new’ mini. Joel painstakingly over a period of 3 weeks scoured the stock around the dealerships until eventually finding the perfect car for us. We were part exchanging 2 cars to put towards the Mini and Joel managed to negotiate a generous settlement for the 2 cars with his business manager. On collection, the car was immaculate and was as good as brand new. Joel even as a goodwill gesture, made us a set of personal plates that were to be used on our other car. The sales team were always friendly, accommodating and at no time did we feel pressured or pushed into making a purchase. The car from Sytner Mini is perfect for us and Sytner made the selling/buying experience stress free.

Relatively stress free process
James Wall is a friendly polite but at the same time very professional car buyer. I initially contacted Mini Newport dealership who passed my details on to James . James contacted me by telephone shortly afterwards and after a series of questions gave me an initial offer for my Mini which was both reasonable and excitable. An appointment was arranged at mr home address some two days later for James to view the car On the day of the appointment James was extremely prompt turning up ahead of the agreed time, something I approve of but rarely happens, after viewing my genuine Mini, James gave me the full initial offer. A contract was constructed and signed I am now awaiting to drop my Mini off at the Newport dealership on a date of of my specification.Many Thanks to James and Synter group in anticipation of Payment authorisation.

Bought a approved used mini
Bought a approved used mini, The reason I went to a min dealer is to ensure the car being purchased was of a quality standard providing me with the reassurance everything would be in order.... unfortunately this was not the case.
Upon delivery of the car it had traveled 70 miles on from Tyre pressure that was over 1 bar below the recommended settings, the front number plate was cracked, and the front Tyre had a split in the wall. Mini agreed to replace the damaged Tyre however the drivers side Tyre was also on 3 mm, and although mini on there website recommends replacing tyres at 3mm, however Ryan insisted that 3mm is satisfactory for approved use?
A brake check was also made during the Tyre change highlighting that the disks were badly warn and brakes pads were recommended to be changed, as this was also highlighted as a warning on the last MOT. When purchasing the car it was confirmed that the brakes would be sorted, however they were not.
Still awaiting a call back to discuss these issues, we await to see what if anything Mini will do. My recommendation is that paying a premium to purchase from a main dealer no longer provides a gold standard service and you would be better finding a local garage that cares about its customers and repuation

New Mini Countryman
The team at Sytner Newport were excellent. We don’t live close to the dealer so the deal was done over the phone, information was spot on the sales team were patient and explained everything before we picked the car up. The hand over was professional and the team gave us all the time needed to understand the new car. We were blown away by the Mini Countryman and love it! Definitely recommend buying your new car from Sytner Newport.

No pressure selling. Provided us with all of the different options to allow us make a choice. Kept us informed of when the car would be available for delivery and followed up after delivery to check if we were happy with the car and that there were no post delivery issues. Would recommend them.

Stress free easy changing to a new mini!
The entire team at sytner Newport are fabulous. Giuseppe Ryan and Sub all made me feel very welcome and at home. They made the experience of changing my car easy fun and very quick!

Purchased a 4 Month old Mini Cooper…
Purchased a 4 Month old Mini Cooper from Giuseppe. I was very specific in what i didn’t want, and Giuseppe went the extra mile to find what turned out to be the perfect car. Business Manager Ryan was also tremendously helpful and provided all information that was asked for. Perfectly adequate, and no fuss valuation on Part Exchange.
First time over dealt with Sytner or Mini.
Possibly the most seamless, straight forward and pleasant buying experience - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be returning in a couple of years when I’m due for a change.

My first buying a car experience in over 30 yrs!
From the minute we walked into the showroom we were treated like welcome guests. This is the first car I have bought in over 30 yrs as have had company cars previously & Giuseppe was brilliant, very patient and talked through everything with me. Explained all the features of the car, controls, how to drive an automatic, which I was a little nervous of as I have always driven a manual & he was brave enough to sit in the passenger seat while we went on our test drive! Ryan was totally open & honest when it came to the financial stuff & I can honestly say I will go there again as & when the need arises, not that will be anytime soon as I love my “new” to me Mini! All in all a really easy process executed with professionalism & friendliness, a pleasure to do business with.
