I must buy the car by the end of the month attitude?
Where do I start ?
They have sarcastic staff, so much so I was told that “I had to buy the car by the end of the month to get there figures”
the invoice price for the car was completely different to the one the finance company got which meant paying out over £1000 more !
And the sales team and Manager said they called me several times when they didn’t.

Frustrating Aftersales
Excellent service from the sales department.
Aftersales and Mini Assist is frustrating to say the least.
In 8 months of purchasing a brand new mini I am now on my second attempt at getting problems rectified.
Currently I have been waiting over 16 hours for a technician to arrive from Mini Assist in order for them to arrange recovery. Still no actual ETA provided even after 3 phone calls.
As it’s Saturday morning I thought I’d better be proactive in getting a replacement vehicle before everything closes.
I’ve spoken to Sytner, Newport who have advised they have no courtesy vehicles available until after the new year. Sytner have advised to go through Mini Assist.
I have been on hold for 1 hour waiting for someone to answer the phone from Mini Assist to organise a courtesy car.
Undriveable vehicle, no engineer, no recovery, no courtesy vehicle.
Once the payment has been taken the excellent service rapidly disappears.
UPDATE: 20 hours later my vehicle is back on the road. Excellent service from the technician once they arrived.
Although I never received a call back from Mini Assist so good job the courtesy vehicle was not required.

Maintaining high standards.
This is the third vehicle I have precured through Sytner (Newport). Why do I keep going back? It's simple the level of service is excellent from the initial phone call to reception and on to salesperson. Nothing is too much trouble. The service is attentive, pitched at being helpful without being pushy. The tea and biscuits is an added bonus.

The person that mini Newport south Wales, Jason, part of the mobility team made the experience enjoyable and easy with updates about every stage of the car i.e. when it was gonna be ready when it was delivered and when the adaption was fitted hopefully in three years time, still there, go through the process again
