Really subpar products, for example: size large shirt sleeves are abnormally long- like too long for Big Foot. Contacted the company like 10 times for return label. No response. Asked for supervisor t... See more

I have just recently learned of this company's demise. I have an unused (but with no expiration date) gift card that I was getting ready to use. Does anyone out there know the owner(s) names and any way to contact them directly? We need to put pressure on these people to do the right thing!

I had been a customer since they opened. Gradually got worse and worse, the service and shipping especially. Now I don't even buy the t-shirts. They managed to ruin this company!
TERRITORY AHEAD RIPOFF
i ordered and received one pair of "Tried and True Relaxed Fit Denim Jeans" for $69.50 in early December, and I liked them so much I ordered three of the same. I was pleasantly surprised that they were on sale for $16.35. What I received was not what I had previously ordered and one of the three was a different size than ordered. It looks to me that some sort of sleazy inventory clearance was perpetrated on me. From what I read it appears that others were cheated in a similar manner. It would seem that some sort of crime would be associated with this fraudulent scheme.
WHAT SAY, TRUSTPILOT?!
Past Customer of T.A. But Never Again!
I've had my eyes on a leather jacket from Territory Ahead for the last couple of years, but could never bring myself to order it for $575. I finally caved this fall and was prepared to pay full price when the 50% off banner showed up- I was elated! The main reason I was targeting the jacket- it came in my size- Large Tall! I ordered the jacket knowing there was a no return policy because I've never had any issues with their sizing or quality. I have ordered items in the distant past from Territory Ahead and was happy with them. When the jacket came, it didn't look anything like the item shown on the website. Not only that, but I couldn't even get the jacket to zip! It's so small! I think it's probably defective or miss-labeled. I called them and they told me to submit my request through their email. So I did that. I'm okay with the look of the jacket- I just want one that fits! They said "Sorry- No returns no exceptions." I will never order from them again. I've been trying to give the jacket away, but I can't find anyone it will fit!
Territory Ahead once seemed to be a…
Territory Ahead once seemed to be a good company. My wife ordered a $79 shirt for me for Christmas which, including taxes and shipping, came to almost $100. The confirmation my wife received from TTA indicated she ordered a Large. When the shirt arrived, the packaging sheet also indicated the enclosed shirt was a Large. However, the shirt is a Small and is marked on the collar tag as Small. Now TTA appears to have closed, and there is no way for the deceptive and incompetent handling of this order to be corrected. Shame on these people!
Believe the Reviews -- Don't Order
I placed an order on Dec 6 and it has still not shipped. I called the customer service line and was told it was going out today. That was a lie. The company can not keep up with shipments, yet I get sales ads emailed to me everyday. I had ordered from them for years, but now I won't be back. The company was sold and it has since gone downhill.
You all got ripped off!!
Just wanted to let you all know just how good territory ahead used to be. I still have shirts from 10+ years ago. Great shirts. There outlet store in Mountain View CA. Had great bargains on great stuff. Their brick and mortar location at Stanford Shopping Center had wonderful helpfull personnel. Apparently they sold to a corporate entity who were in no way going to continue with this great clothing store. They just went straight to hell. So glad I found out ahead of time this was going to happen. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!EVER!!!
Awesome
Always the best....
Been buying from T.A. for 15 years ....
Love their stuff...
I ordered a winter coat.
I ordered a winter coat.
4 weeks later I was informed that color was not available.
I tried to change color but was refused original sales price.
Lost a multi purchase long term customer.
TTA loses eight shirts - provides no compensation
Returned eight shirts. TTA can't find the package. I provided the tracking information showing that they received it. Despite several e-mails to TTA customer service, all I ever received was "the information will or has been "escalated." TTA promptly took my money. But when I reported a problem failed to address it.
As a long-term customer of territory…
As a long-term customer of territory ahead, I had basically had good experiences. A decade ago, their products were high-quality. I had bought a few shirts/pants here and there since and they had been of acceptable quality. However they had a jacket that I had eyed for a long time… the Milestone Vintage Leather Jacket, Item 110499. This item has been in the catalog for sometime and is portrayed as a rich, roughhewn distressed leather jacket in a Cognac color. When their 50% off sale started a month or so ago, it was time to purchase this 500+ dollar jacket. I was excited when it arrived, but was shocked to find that the jacket I received, was in no way similar to the style or finish represented in the catalog. This was a completely different jacket. This was a material misrepresentation of the product, so I contacted territory ahead to facilitate a return for this product which again in NO WAY matched their advertisement. The only response I received after multiple inquiries was a curt response stating that they in no way intended to facilitate any return because of their sale. In my book, this is THEFT. I’ll keep the product if it’s the product that you advertised, but that was not the case here. They have to know that their advertisement does not match their product. Very underhanded. Step up, territory ahead. It seems apparent that you have sold your soul to some corporate entity who no longer cares about the product or the relationship with its clientele… It’s all about the money. I am contemplating legal action.
Should be charged with theft!
Sent the wrong color item and told me to pound sand on a return or exchange. Really? They can just ship whatever they want and charge your credit card. Stay away from this company!
Steer clear...
Steer clear...was told I couldn’t return items. Poor service. Was ready to spend several hundred on new wardrobe items however if there is no return, well I’m not that gullible.
overpriced, sizes too big, customer service sucks
I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for an exchange that has apparently just been sitting in their warehouse for the past 10 days. I don’t know if that’s the items I returned or the items that they are exchanging and reshipping. That doesn’t matter. I called today and an extremely rude customer service rep started yelling at me when I asked why it’s taking so long and why they haven’t touched them in the past 9-10 days. Very unprofessional, and won’t be giving them any more business.
A joke of a company
I placed an order almost two weeks ago, and it's not yet shipped. Takes 40 minutes or longer to speak to a person, and then all you get is "it'll be shipped any minute now" rundown. Was a very fine company years ago, but it'll be bankrupt soon with this kind of business practices.
I attempted to order an item (#150075)…
I attempted to order an item (#150075) from a catalog ...and was told it was not available. I received another catalog a few days later. The item appeared again, so I called to place an order. I was told "it was discontinued." I wonder why it appeared in two catalogs and why can't I back order it. I'd really like to have that item...???
Their great catalog invites you to do…
Their great catalog invites you to do business with a company that promises more than they deliver. Discounts and coupons apply to full prices, even on items that are for sale. They hold money ahead of shipping, and in my case they held the sale amount on the credit card twice, not just once. Their customer service is snippy.
Really? Do you want this?
How do I unsubscribe from your catalog?
Lack of integrity
I ordered several items online. I expected all 3 items in one package but instead received 2..the order form showed that the missing item was on back order..i waited and then called about the status of the missing item. I was told it was to be shipped separately. I called few days later and received the same response. Finally called April 29 and was told it no longer is available. Last night I reciecved an email stating this too. Why wasn't I told in the beginning instead of being lied to? If this is how the employees do business I have to hesitate in doing further transactions with this company..this action or series of contradictory actions demonstrates a lack of integrity. I cannot trust such a company. I wanted to continue doing business but my trust has been broken. Too bad because I really like the products but at this point I have to refrain from buying online. I even wonder if an empkoyee took that shirt from my order. Did that happen? Hope not but I'm sure you'd be thinking that possibility. Mark Moronez
Territory Ahead has gone way downhill!
Territory Ahead used to be my absolute favorite store for shirts. Their designs are unique, and I’ve received numerous compliments from complete strangers when wearing their shirts. Unfortunately, during the past couple of years both the quality of their shirts as well as their customer service has really gone downhill. So much so that two days ago I requested they remove me from their mailing list. My most recent shirt purchase— which was for about $87.00– did not survive even eight washings! There was apparently a chemical reaction in one of the dyes, since little holes developed in many places on the shirt where this one specific color was used. I have no idea why that would happen (other than a problem with the dye), but I documented the problem with several photos and a detailed description of how the shirt was worn and exactly how it was washed...and line dried. I thought the company would be interested to see the pattern of tiny holes...almost as though they were the result of an acid...but they were not the least bit interested. They asked for the style number, which I photographed and sent, and was told that the warranty period had expired (it turns out that it was expired by just over two weeks), and they could not replace/refund the shirt. They showed no interest whatsoever in the situation, but did offer a 20% discount and free shipping on my next purchase (there were NO QUALIFYING STATEMENTS, just 20% off and free shipping. Although I wasn’t too happy about it since I had purchased well over $1,000 of shirts from them during the past few years, I reluctantly found a shirt to order and sent them the order number. They wrote back (AFTER the shirt had shipped) that since it was a sale item they could not “combine promotions”, and I was not entitled to the 20% off. I replied with a question: “How is this ‘combining promotions’, since the 20% off was not a promotion but rather “compensation” for a shirt that did not hold up?” I received no reply, of course (Surprise! Surprise!). I asked them to please remove me from their mailing list, which they said they were happy to do.... At any rate, I am totally finished with this company. It was really good at one time— and I provided lots of excellent, lengthy reviews— but it is no longer a company that offers quality products...and the Customer Service is horrible. My advice: Look elsewhere.
