Terrible returns process - Avoid them
This review is prompted by what happens when your order doesn’t work out.
I really like their clothes, although they’re a bit expensive. Still, they are good quality and last.
My issue is with their return process. I purchased about $300 of products (3 items) that unfortunately didn’t fit well. I followed their return instructions to the letter, getting a return authorization, paying to have the return shipped using their pre-paid UPS label, and tracking the return until it was delivered to their depot.
Then, silence. Two weeks went by after the return was delivered, and no refund. No confirmation from them that the refund was in process.
No response to my emails (5 of them). The Customer Service phone line was no help. The automated attendant greets you with a message that they are swamped (I wonder why) and the best bet is to use their email or leave your number and they will call you back in 48 hours.
No return call after I left my number. No response to that one last email I sent before disputing the charge.
So I’ve disputed with American Express. Maybe I’ll get a response from Territory Ahead. Probably not.
But I won’t order from them again.
Laughable customer service
Laughable customer service. You can make a sale or a customer and this guy will no longer be purchasing clothes from this business-and advise others to avoid this terribly run business.
What has happened to a once great company
We have ordered from Territory Ahead many times over the years, but we are not sure what has happened. We ordered expensive shorts, but they have not come. I have tried to contact customer service, but the wait was forever. I used the chat to find out they are on back order. If they are out of stock, why are they still offering them without informing the customers? This is criminal. Too bad whatever has happened to a once great company

Ordered two shirts in December. Only one was delivered. In the last 7 months I have spoken to 6 different Territory Ahead "representatives" and each and every case they said the refund for the shirt not delivered will be issued in the next few days-which still to this date has not happened. Are they going out of business??

We have bought many things from them over the years. The quality, for the most part, is good. However, we got a pair of jeans with defective fabric. It frayed near the zipper before being washed. Customer service responded quickly to my email, however, after 2 months of back and forth and promises to expedite the return, we still do not have a refund.
An Administrative Mess
I ordered two Pima Cotton T-shirts in Feb. 2025. After the order was placed I received a notice that the shirts were out of stock and I canceled the order. In May, 2025 I received a notice that my items had shipped. I immediately attempted to correct this error, but to no avail. What followed were over 20 emails and phone calls, finally (hopefully) ending today, July 2025. I love these t-shirts, but I will NEVER do business with this company again.

I ordered a woman’s shirt online from Territory Ahead with picture stating shirt was cotton linen. Shirt arrived after several weeks. Shirt was a very thin not cotton fabric. Very cheap with white buttons and white thread outlining on dark shirt. I put into a bag for Goodwill.
Poor service on refunds related to returns
I returned some items which they confirm they’ve received and still don’t have my refund 21 days later. I keep getting different reasons for the delay. Their last response said their return system was not functional and they didn’t know when I’d get the refund. I’ve since checked their reviews and they are pretty bad. I never thought to check when I made the initial purchase as I’ve always assumed they were a reputable company. Apparently that has changed!

Territory Ahead - Poor Quality Jeans
Similar to others, we were loyal customers but one pair of jeans ripped (poor quality stitching or something) after only 4-5 times wearing. Since these were his "going out" jeans, it happend after the timeframe they accept returns. Called MANY times, sent pictures, elevated and NO refund. They have just lost another one.

Good evening. I'm reaching out because I'm now being charged for returned product received by your warehouse weeks ago!! While understand there's a return process you have in place, I don't understand why this is taken so long to process. I immediately returned this merchandise back to your warehouse and so it seems like you're taking your time to refund me. This is not good business to your consumers and will unfortunately prevent me from shopping with you again. So, I asked that you please expedite this process as I've gained little to no patience with your company and how you all chooses to handle this.

Like so many others, my refund has not been received from Territory Ahead, now 3 months from when they received my return. What’s really disgusting is I keep receiving their catalogs in the mail, which are promptly thrown in recycling. Customer service is truly despicable.

The company is not processing refunds
The company is not processing approved refunds. I'm a Long time customer, rarely had to send back items, never a problem before. My current $200.00+/- refund is about 3 months late and nothing but double talk from customer service. Is the company going out of business ?

Terrible customer service. I reached out 3 times regarding a mens button down shirt. After washing the shirt, the fabric faded in blotches. As if it was bleached. Customer service asked that i send pics, which i did, twice. They never got back to me. Terrible! I will never order from them again. Terrible customer service! Inferior fabric. Made in china. What happened to Territory Ahead????
What happened to Territory Ahead????? For almost 2 decades it has been my favorite place to buy clothes. The last few experiences I have had were distressing - especially regarding shipment/refunds/customer service. The shirt was fine, but it arrived after I needed it. I have been lied to about availability/shipping/refund procedures etc. Most recently I was told "refunds are on hold"?!?!?! is that even a thing? and I was not offerred a product credit - even though I asked.
Still did not yet my return over three months
Still do not get the remark from my money. Three months. Scandalous!
