Went to the TGI Friday's within the O2. After eventually being seated. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken. While we were sat waiting we had a birdseye view of the serving hatch area. The m... See more

Awful experience
Awful experience. My partner and I went here for our ten year anniversary (because we also went to a TGI Fridays on our very first date). And back then it was great. When we first walked in, no one came over to us for a good five minutes, then when they did their attitude was very moody, like it was a nuisance that we’d come into the restaurant (even though we’d pre booked a table). She sat us down, but it was half an hour before anyone came over to our table to even ask if we wanted a drink, even though it wasn’t even busy at this point. By this time, we were already looking at trying to book a table somewhere else. The atmosphere was horrible and we could see other people at other tables getting annoyed, and a couple of people waiting so long to pay or for someone to come over to them that they were just walking out. We finally ordered and when the food came out it was nice. However there were items missed from our order, and when I asked if we could have the missing food items, the waitress said yes and walked away, and then just never came back with them (or the ketchup that I’d asked for). We had to keep getting up to find someone to ask for a drink, and I had to search around the restaurant to find a clean fork and ketchup. We really wanted to get dessert but couldn’t bare the wait or the atmosphere so didn’t want to stay. We wouldn’t have minded if it was clearly very busy and they were run off their feet, or even if we’d had some sort of acknowledgement for the wait or the treatment. But nothing. And they were just wandering around out the back or at the bar and then disappearing for ages.
Very disappointing, considering how good it’s been in the past and we always liked going as it’s ’our place’. Hopefully it was a one off, but we definitely won’t be going back for a while.
Avoid Ashton under lyne
Avoid Ashton. Staff couldn’t care less. Slow service. Returned food because it was cold. They are more interested in chatting and eating themselves than taking care of customers. Will never return.
TGI's Wembley. Rip off!
Went out as a family to TGI Fridays at Wembley (2 adults and 3 children). Walked past a couple of times, there are boards outside everywhere advertising 'kids eat free all day everyday'.
Great! See some small print about a free kids meal with a paying adult. OK, no worries, so we'll get 2 free kids meals and have to pay for one. Wife downloaded the app to book us a table, same thing advertised all over the app.
Food was passable, nothing to complain about, just your standard American type food, same stuff as at a Frankie & Bennys or a Greene King or something.
Get to the bill, walk out and check it, we've been charged for everything, all meals. Go back inside to question it. Apparently you have to specify to the server when you order your food that 2 out of the 3 kids meals you are ordering, you want to add the deal that it is advertised all over the place.
Like, why would we not want this deal that doesn't tell you anywhere obvious that you have to declare you want to use this offer?!
Asked whether we could just get a refund now at the end, server was like 'i can't really do that for you, I can get a manager over?'
Service had been slow so left them with their £15 extra they've made off this bogus deal.
Lesson learnt! Next time when you go to TGIs?
No, just not going there again
Wow that was absolute rubbish
Wow.. That was absolute rubbish!
Arrived at Cribbs Causeway branch today after booking a table in advance for my daughters birthday.
Restaurant was half full if that.
Ordered drinks (refill option) and food, initial drinks to around 10 minutes to arrive. Then left with no food or offer on refill drinks for over 40 minutes.
Waitress then comes over and says have you guys not had your food yet?????? She then said she did not know why things were taking so long... What! Why didn't she know, she works there.
After explaining that this wasn't good enough our food was out soon after, but some 50 minutes after ordering.
We gave up soon after and asked for the bill instead of ordering deserts. Even trying to pay took another 15 minute wait after being told they were just off to get the card payment machine, and took me to say when can i actually pay.
Lady apologised and said they were really busy, but i repeat the room was less than half populated.
Communication seemed awful, management was non existent. The whole team looked like they had no leadership or clue to what was going on, during their shift.
No discount offer to us for having to wait so long with no explanation and them knowing we didn't have a great experience at all.
Really was the pits.
Would advise.... Avoid this restaurant and its way overpriced menu.
Things could have been better from simple communication and explanation of reason for delays, but there was nothing.
Table next to us with a baby waited even longer and refused to pay... I would have too if i hadn't had all my family there who just wanted to get out.
Worst Possible Service Ever
We arrived 10 minutes early for our table time. We were invited to wait in the bar. There was one bartender who was very busy clearly making orders up for all the different table orders. He incredibly successfully ignored me for 15 minutes despite me calling out to him asking if I could place an order. We never did get any drinks. We were then taken to our table 5 minutes after our booking time. The table was dirty. We tried to order drinks. We also try to order food straightaway as we had already looked at the menu. After 15 minutes of being ignored by everyone, we decided to leave. No one even noticed us leaving. I will not bother wasting any money at TGI Friday's ever again. I would recommend you do the same as well
Use to love tgi Fridays had a few not…
Use to love tgi Fridays had a few not so very good experiences lately and last night finished me off. Staff rude uncaring. 30mins eating in drinks then they bought my daughters food out first and left us all 25mins waiting on ours. She had finished and ours hadn’t even come out. When spoke to staff that attitude was “when we do kids we bring them out first” so said this isn’t a family meal now is it my daughter has sat eat on her own. Asked for manager the manager was uncaring didn’t care about how we felt. My food come out and the pasta was literally disgusting and drenched in oily water. I will never in my life return to what was once one of our favourite places to eat. The place has gone rapidly down hill in the last year and a shame to see. Stay away it’s overpriced unfriendly and you will not enjoy your time there any longer. Such a shame it’s been left ruin like this.
TGI Fridays Tinsley
TGI Fridays Tinsley, Sheffield. The worst meal I’ve had out as far as I can remember.
Not one of our four meals were even satisfactory never mind enjoyable.
Glazed burger which included bacon? No bacon on it and when asked was brought what looked like to be the scraps that fell through the grille.
Glazed Chicken burger. At least this had bacon. Although this was burnt to a crisp.
Full rack JD ribs. Coleslaw was warm.. no JD glaze sauce as advertised. Cold.
Ultimate American grille. Freezing cold tomato, undercooked corn on the cob, ruined steak instead of medium rare. Chicken was missing the lemon and garlic…
The only warm things were the glasses for the drinks !!
And on the next table a toddler was helped to walk the full length of the eight person table.
£131 for that? Never ever again!! 😡😡
Really disappointing meal today TGI's Norwich
Really disappointed with TGI's Norwich today! Me and my partner have been going for 5+ years now and it was our favourite place to eat, always absolutely loved the food and the service TGI's Norwich always gave. But today we went for my partners birthday and was served by Lilli-Ma and just felt like she didn't even want to be there. The whole restaurant just had this odd not welcoming feeling to it and that's not how this place used to be like.
On top of this my sesame chicken that I always get and love came just not tasting the same and without the pot of sauce you always used to get on the side and the most smallest side salad I have ever seen like they were running out, as well as this my little girls children's meal burger came burnt and missing the fruit and salad part it said it comes with on the menu.
Really disappointing meal in all honesty and not impressed TGI's Norwich, really let us down today, I am not one to moan and post negative feedback but this had to be said. 😔
VERY SORRY- I ever Booked TGI at Meadowhall
Booked the TGI at Medowhall, in Sheffield UK. Party of 11, a family reunion, our tradition since 2022.
I was overwhelmed by the lack of attention to proper cleaning and presentation. (The front door had trash and leaves blowing in the building)
Our party was seated in the worst location, the lower level, with a dirty window, table, chairs, and floors.(Visible food caked on chairs and table seams)
I remarked to the poor server, who simply said "Sir, I am so sorry, this location has its issues" I responded where is the manager, her response was over there, but dont expect much help" Given that by the time the drinks were served the entire group was already seated into the menu choices, I decided to brave through the sad event. We ordered starters, and kids meals. The starters came, mine was loaded nachos, an absolute disaster, a few chips covered in what appeared to be some bad pork, and ketchup, not a crisp corn chip in the dish was to be seen. I asked for some extra chips so I could try to enjoy, they came, but by then I was put off the whole event and waited for the meals to come, which were pitiful, done wrong, and had to be returned. I will never EVER book another TGI event, TGI you have embarrassed by, my family and my wallet. Overpriced, dirty to the core, and needs to be inspected by the health department! About 300 Pounds spent to save face and not get up and walk out on my family group! Shame on you, the manager, the sitting down staff, you need to find yourself a new role, for now, clean up your act! TGI I want a refund!!!!
I purchased a $50 gift card for TGI…
I purchased a $50 gift card for TGI Fridays, and as a bonus, I received two appetizer vouchers. However, all the locations near Cape Coral and Fort Myers are now closed. The nearest restaurant is over two hours away in Miami. I contacted customer service multiple times over several months, but they have completely ignored my requests, even after sending multiple emails. This is extremely frustrating, and I feel cheated. I am requesting a refund for the gift card, but I’ve received no response. I will never be purchasing from TGI Fridays again and would advise others to be cautious.

was expecting much better from quality…
was expecting much better from quality of food. Staff was super nice so they brought the experience up.
Great service at Cribbs
Cribbage causeway… Jess, fantastic waiter couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Food was delicious on time and hot. Jess continued to ask if there was anything she could do for us. Great service all round
Cribbs. Would not recommend
Entered the restaurant at Cribbs Causeway to be told there were no fries, no pasta, no garlic bread or short ribs however we could have tater tots instead which was fine for us. We sat for about 30mins for drinks. Extra 15 for starters then over an hour for food. You could see other diners chasing up meals. Going to the bar to get their own drinks. It became a joke so much so all diners started to converse to compare waiting times.
Once 3 of the 4 meals arrived they were warm. The server then took another tables order and the 4th meal finally arrived we made sure to ask for the bill and settled it so we did not have to spend anymore time in there!
First visit to TGI Friday @ Doncaster.

Couldn't do enough to make our experience a good one.
A credit to the company, went above and beyond.
Absolutely terrible I had to wait for half an hour to get seated
Absolutely terrible I had to wait for 20 mins and then another ten mins for my table to get cleaned and it was still dirty and then I had to wait another 15 mins for my disgusting food to come it was dry and they didn’t even have crispy chicken. The food was horrible absolutely nasty. The seats were sticky and they took ages.
Love from Karen
Stratford Westfield
Food is great, however I will no longer be sitting inside to eat, myself and my partner were there this evening 5/1/2025 and there was a couple next to us a few seats down, the lady jumped up and screamed saying she saw a mouse so I jumped up and ran to the other side of where I was sitting luckily myself and partner were already finished and getting ready to leave, as I was standing up a server came over and asked if everything was alright I told him that the lady said there was a mouse and his response was they are all over the shopping centre and in the tgi Friday restaurant EXCUSEEEEE MEEEE!!!!!! I got my things and left immediately after he said that, if I ever go back which won’t be anytime soon I will be booking a table outside, never have I ever been in any other restaurant in Westfield’s and seen mice roaming free that’s very concerning, and then to hear that it’s normal from the worker is wild after spending 70+ pounds that’s unacceptable.
Went to the Basildon branch.... not great
Went to the Basildon branch, it was my sons 15th Birthday, he was keen to go, the alarm bells should have rung when she said they had 1 waitress for the whole restaurant !! Very understaffed
Look the service considering it was busy wasn't too bad, my main meal was luke warm, the chips were so heavily salted I could not eat them. One member of staff did ask how the meal was but carried on walking by so I could not reply! not great food.
An expensive meal out for 4 mains 1 starter and some drink £105 !! We won't be back
O2 TGI poor hospitality good food not good value for money
Visited the O2 TGI’s before i fly experience.
Pre booked for 1700 but still a large queue to be seated. So we were directed to the Bar.
Stood there ignored for 10 minutes while 2 bartenders made drinks. I at least expect acknowledgement but sadly no.
I was going to order a bottomless regular coke but is not included only zero sugar drinks. (Whatever sweetener they use gives me migraines)
The only seat they had for our party of 4 was by the door where the queue was. Begrudgingly accepted this if they could let me have regular coke bottomless.
Apparently spoke to the manager who said no. Apparently the can’t do it legally.
Seating was freezing by the closed door and waitress OK.
Sesame chicken strips good as usual, my sons Ribs were good but daughter had a hotdog unfortunately they had no buns so it was cut up and put into a burger bun.
Had to ask for condiments and BBQ sauce was a whopping £1.50 which in hindsight I wouldn’t have needed if the sauce pot for the chicken strips was the same size as my wife’s (it was half the size).
To summarise.
Standard of Hospitality Poor
Quality of food very good
Standard of service Ok
Value for money poor
Amazing service
We have had nothing but the best experience at TGI Fridays in Braintree, the server was amazing and we have had the same guy the last few times and this made a massive difference to our experience.
Food was also great.
