Went to the TGI Friday's within the O2. After eventually being seated. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken. While we were sat waiting we had a birdseye view of the serving hatch area. The m... See more

The restaurant was freezing cold as…
The restaurant was freezing cold as apparently no heating for 4 weeks the service was atrocious we watched 4 tables walked out and when the food did eventually come out it was cold,! We did not pay for our meals just the drinks. The staff had to wear extra layers of clothing to keep warm. NEVER AGAIN
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I sent a complaint to customer service and have not had a response ,so I sent another one still no response .I must say there customer relations is the worst I have ever experienced and I will never eat in any of there restaurants again . Food was rubbish and service was shocking ,what a waste of £70 for me and my daughter . I would never recomend going to there restaurants again and would advise people not to eat there . I went to TGI Festival leisure park basildon SS143WD
Disappointing
It was our son’s 10th birthday and he wanted to be treated at TGI Fridays Binley.
We arrived early as he wanted to sit in the bar area and talk to his uncle and grandparents.
When we arrived, I spoke to the manager and I did state it is very cold in here. Is everything okay and the reply was yes. We were sitting near to the door within the bar area so that’s probably why we felt cold.
The restaurant were aware it was our sons birthday, and nothing was mentioned at all during our visit, until I mentioned it when we wanted the bill, he was not made to feel special at all. However, the balloon hat arrived right at the end when they sang their birthday song
When we took our seats I did state it was still cold, and we were at the opposite end to where the entrance door was, and slightly erased, my thinking, heat rises, will be okay. However, I mentioned it was still cold and I was informed and their words were “ We will turn the heating up more in your area” I thought great as my parents were cold and unwilling to take off their coats, to be honest, we were all the same, feeling cold.
Next, a portable heater arrived and was placed on the floor, this didn’t do much, and was also a trip hazard.
I had to check a couple of times on our drinks order, and upon checking, I noticed there were further portable heaters around the restaurant, therefore thinking there was an issue with the heating, I just wish they were upfront and honest at the start as we would’ve moved to a different restaurant.
The food came out and two meals had to go back and due to the considerable weight. They did bring out some chips for those two meals to start on, then when the meals arrived everybody else had finished.
Just a real disappointing experience with the heating, not making our son feel special, drinks order, having to be chased and the food, not being the right temperature, and taking too long to just fry two pieces of steak.
I will also add that restaurant was extremely quiet
No food after long wait
Booked table at TGI St David's Cardiff for 12:00AM as we had an appointment at 13:30 plenty of time?
Arrived at 12 the restaurant was very quiet, was sat at the table, ordered food by 12:05 and drinks were with us within a few minutes. The restaurant became very busy over the next 15 minutes, 20 minutes passed so checked on where our order was and the waitress said she would check (never came back). We then noticed food was arriving at tables where people had come in some time after us.
Forty minutes after being seated we once again asked about our order and told they would check (never came back).
Forty five minutes after being seated we told them we were leaving, the waitress then argued they were very busy and the food was going to be out soon, we pointed out it was quiet on arrival at 12noon and highlighted they had served other people with food that had arrived much later than us, we offered to pay for dinks and we then left.
Appalling Service
Halloween Horror at the Fort Glasgow
Went for a 'quick' bite to eat at TGI Friday's at the Glasgow Fort; managed to finally escape 2 hours later after our table of 3 adults got eventually served our lukewarm food. A true scary experience!
It was busy, however, the full section near the bar was shut. If it was a lack of staff then I would suggest that they know their capacity and send people away. We had to ask for our order to be taken (after 20 mins) then had to ask a further 3 occasions for our main course. This was served 1 hr 45 mins after our arrival. There were piles of food sitting on the pass waiting to be served - some staff were buzzing around, others were executingly slow (or missing). Poor, Poor, Poor!!!
Prices have gone up
While choosing our drinks we were shocked that a small glass of prosecco cost over £10. It was then that we saw that all the food prices were considerably higher than when we last visited a couple of months ago. We won't be going again which is a shame because it was one of our favourite restaurants.
May god strike me down dead I will…
May god strike me down dead I will never go into a tgi Friday again it’s a total disgrace
Don’t go here…
We visited TGI’s in Brighton Marina for our daughters 13th birthday and had high hopes of a good time. Previously visited Staines and Cribbs Causeway and they were good.
Brighton you were terrible. Starters came before drinks, no plates, cutlery or napkins for starters. Table wasn’t cleared between starters and mains which also came without cutlery. Food was mediocre at best. All the tables that had been used were still stacked up with used plates and drinks etc. It wasn’t even a really busy night.
TGI’s is supposed to be an American diner and the Americans are so hot in service they’d be ashamed to be associated with this shambles.
Would have happily left without paying my our bill tonight had it not been for the fact I booked online and they had all my details.
Come on TGI’s pull your socks up, you do not deserve to be in business with people paying their hard earned cash to you.
Never again
First up, getting a table in a restaurant that was about 1/3 full. You need the Maitre 'D to show you to your table, then go and get you some menus, the leave you to wait for the waiter/waitress. Takes time, especially when there's a queue building up 15 mins.
Wait for the waitress - 20 mins.
"What would you like to drink?"
"What have you got?"
"I'll bring you the drinks menu".
(Drinks menu brought). I'll be back in a minute, said the waitress (x 20, turns out).
Ordered drinks, including one that they didn't have (except on the bill, see later).
Drinks arrived, by this time we'd been there for 45 minutes. On a table right under the air conditioning outlet blowing freezing air straight down. So we asked to change table. Not easy.
"I've just got to see to 2 or 3 things, then I'll be back". 20 minutes.
"OK, I've found you a table that's not directly under the air conditioning, it's the only one we have available". (Restaurant 1/3 full, our original table was the only one directly underneath the air con duct).
Ordered food (after waitress finally showed up). Sharing platter of chicken was so-so, nothing special, and some parts seemed like reformed chicken, judging by the texture, or lack of I would say. Burgers were meaty, although the bun was burnt around the edges adversely affecting the flavour, and fries were quite nice. Took about 25 mins to arrive.
My son wanted a milk shake (£7.50!!!!), another 20 mins. At the same time we asked for the bill, which did come eventually, but had the Dr Pepper at £4.30 no less (300ml) still on the bill. Instead of coming back, the waitress busied herself washing glasses etc. after 15 minutes I got up to ask for a correct bill.
Bill corrected, the waitress said she'd go and get the card reader. Another 20 minutes.
We got to the door at about 19:20, left at about 21:40. Just in time to miss the train by 2 minutes, so 28 minute wait for the next one.
Sharing platter of chicken (4 wings, 4 coated strips, and about 2 x 12 1cm reformed chicken nuggets with industrial sauce). 3 burgers (2 with chips, 1 with salad), 1 x Mac and cheese bites, 1 coke (£3.40) 1 lemonade (3.40) and of course the milkshake milk shake, £108.40. Or £104.00 after the non-existent Dr Pepper was taken off.
Needless to say, total tip was £0.00 and TGI Friday’s is on my list on “never again”.
Minus 10Review!!! DREADFUL
-10I Review!!!
TGI Lakeside Thurrock absolutely appalling, took us 1 and a half hours to be served dinner!!!
Couldn't order dinner the same time as ordering starters. Staff spilling drinks over people. Staff are not trained to a standard and the food WHEN you get it's cold!
Honestly it's horrific and ruined a 21st birthday celebration!
Wouldn't recommend this place mcdonalds burger is so much better service and food!
Manager has no skills neither does he know how to deal with people.

We went to Tgi Friday at TTP SA on Monday. And we would like to order steak that on special. Waiter said we can not order it, the meal on special should order by booking. She said we still can order it but they charged us with normal price. Not fair. So disappointed, definitely we never come back again.

Quick trip to Meadowhall and no time to sit in the restaurant but wanted TGI sesame chicken - problem solved - scan the code on the A board and hey presto 8 minutes later I have my order (very large portion) and a drink for just £12! Super impressed!
TGI disgusting Friday.
Booked a table for 6 at TGI in Cribbs Causeway Bristol. Eventually got seated then waited for our drinks and food order to be taken. Then after a while the drinks arrived, the waitress asked if we wanted glasses for our beer and brought us unwashed Guinness glasses for our cider. When we asked for these to be replaced she looked like I had asked for the world!! After an age (we were waiting to go to the cinema) the food arrived. Part of the order was two sharing chicken plates which quite frankly were disgusting! The chicken was over cooked and covered in some sweet sticky sauce (presumably to hide the chicken), the chicken pasta was dry, the nacho salad was more sad salad than nacho and overall the meal was not of a quality that justified the £170 bill . You really need to get on top of this with some concentrated waitress, service and chef training. Your famous name won't be enough for long and currently you deserve to go out of business. Really really poor, but unfortunately looking at your reviews, you will not do anything about it or even respond to this review.

Booked a table at the Halifax site for a family on Father's Day. Upon arrival we were informed that they had run out of the most popular main meals. A family just leaving said that we would probably have an hour to wait for what food we could order. We decided to leave. Unbelievable that they didn't plan for this and order extra food. Spoilt our plans also.
They got the wrong food 😠 😡 and then…
They got the wrong food 😠 😡 and then they took forever to take our food away and we had to ask them about it food was good
I love this chain, but…
I love this chain, but it needs to do a massive update on the brand, I been going and loving the restaurant since 2006, but almost nothing has changed, a fresh look, an updated menu with more or better selections and more friendly staff will do wonders.
Shocking experience at Leicester Square TGI
Shocking experience!!! Arrived at 20:45 for a pre booked dinner for 12. We waited an hour after ordering, only to receive water and no apology. The management and staff were unorganised and unhelpful. I decided to leave the group before i died of hunger. A poor excuse for a restaurant.
TGI Fridays - Not!
On Wednesday, 5/17/23 was as at a group organization of approx 23 members inthe Woodlands Texas. We Arrived about 12:45pm and restaurant appeared deserted except for our members. Found them in a large room lacking in appeal, seemed minimalistic at best.
Entering the room and attempting to speak with others was at best difficult, as everyone speaking was cacophonous in the room.
There was only one waitress to wait on everyone and when ordered finally it took about 15 minutes to get served for our table and not all were brought at that time.
It took her another 25 minutes to take our orders. Finally our order began arriving taking a while to be served. This was at 2:25 pm.
I had ordered a dozen chicken wings and French fries and my wife ordered a chicken sandwich with fries,
Ethan my order arrived it was served in two small Caste iron frying pans. The chicken wings, albeit very small were piled on several stalks of celery, unappetizing at best. Fries arrived in a similar pan and were barely warm and soggy.
The wings were over cooked and tough, the sauce was minimalistic and lacked flavor only a slight sweetness. The blue cheese dip for the wings had a slight sweetness and barely any blue cheese flavor. It was in a small container not adequate for the serving size ( I had to ask for a second one.)
I asked to speak to the manager and shortly after someone identifying as an assistant manger came to the table. Not sure as he was dressed like a cook with an apron on. Had difficulty understanding him although he did offer to replace the wings I think. I declined as it was late and I had already eaten some and not impresses with them..
At the prices they charged I would have expected better. This is not a place I will be coming back to.
