Bought 4 shirts and been trying to return them since 6 December. The courier on their Return Robin never turned up. Rang customer service multiple times, emailed them, posted on Facebook and now contacted Trading Standards. Do not buy anything unless certain of size and don’t need to return
New Thomas Pink…a poor experience
I bought 2 shirts last week and through my fault I bought the wrong sizes.
I have tried to return the shirts but unable to get them picked by their chosen out-sourced courier and no feedback from their customer service.
Their website does not allow me to contact them. It feels an awful experience it based on a mistake of mine.
Most other reputable companies would support my return!
How do I move forward? Any help greTfully received!

I bought my first Thomas Pink shirt in…
I bought my first Thomas Pink shirt in 1998, it was a beautifully made shirt with a perfect fit and the material was quality, the collar sat perfectly open with a suit jacket. The shirt was made in Ireland and it was something i was proud of being Irish. I went back a few years later when i was in a better paying job to buy some more. Unfortunately the shirts weren't being made in Ireland anymore and the quality feel and fit was noticeably not as good. I bought two but they didn't last too long, the elbows went out of them. I've gone back a couple of times over the years and tried some on but i didn't buy. Ireland really did produce some quality made clothing up until the late 90's but cheaper labour in far off countries, they couldn't compete. Thomas Pink was sold to a supposedly high end fashion house in 1999 yet the quality went down and I've heard they are now owned by JD sports which almost makes me cry.
Worst shirt I have ever owned - absolute rubbish
Submitted a review a couple of weeks ago about the poor quality shirt I received. The shirt was made in India and the cotton was as thin as muslin. There was no interfacing in the collar to stiffen it in order that it sat properly when worn. Having worn the shirt once and hoping that after being ironed, the collar might have taken a satisfactory shape. No such luck I'm afraid. The quality and manufacture of this garment should be an embarrassment to the former excellent name that Thomas Pink once had. I can't be bothered with returning the shirt as not being fit for purpose and will be consigning it to the rubbish bin as the only place that is suitable for the 'rubbish' that it is.
6 weeks and no refund
I returned an order on 18 August 2020 and still have not received a refund. I have tried emailing and calling with no replies. I have been shopping with Thomas Pink many years and received good customer service before but since the rebranding it is terrible. How can I issue a complain. Can someone advise?
I love the post launch Indian shirts…
I love the post launch Indian shirts for their quality, cut, materials etc etc ,a step up even from their most expensive shirts previously but;
I went into the Jermyn St store two weeks ago and bought a sale shirt which I wore that evening In my hotel. So pleased I intended to return on Sunday but upon checking found it would be closed. So in the early hours of Monday I purchased four shirts online, one full price and three in the sale. without paying extra the full price shirt was delivered on the Tuesday just a couple of working days later. The rest however never arrived. When I chased for a second time the response was that they were out of stock- - - what a pathetic system they must have. I must now await hopefully for a refund.
Shirts as expected
Shirts as expected - bought very cheaply in the sale, and arrived next day. Very pleased, but my expectations are mitigated by paying 15 pounds a shirt. No issues. Haven't tried to return any which seems to be the issue in many of the other reviews.
Avoid
Similar to the reviews below, it's been 2 weeks since I returned a shirt and I still haven't received a refund. Customer services won't reply to emails or calls.
Where is my refund?
Having returned two shirts I expected a refund within days - it is now more than two weeks and there is still no sign of my money. I have been reassured by customer service on three separate occasions that it is on the way - it isn't yet. So what is going on at Thomas Pink? I was told my query was now being escalated to a complaint. What does that mean? Is there something we, as customers, are not being made aware of?
Update: Within half an hour of my latest call, Thomas Pink has finally issued a refund. Thank you to Bethany in Customer Services for your professionalism and promptness in dealing with the issue.
First and last experience with these…
First and last experience with these jokers
I was gifted a 'high end exclusive' shirt. Couldn't iron it to save my life. Ive been wearing luxury shirts my whole life. I was given ironing advice by customer services rather than replacing the item or being offered a refund.
You are a bunch of clowns
Always used to go to Thomas Pink…
Always used to go to Thomas Pink especially for the slim fit shirts. Must have around 25 but 3 years ago the quality went down and the price went up, rubbish these days TM Lewin far better.
What can I say that hasn’t already been…
What can I say that hasn’t already been said. TP used to be my go to. The only shirts I bought, used to struggle to decide which one to pick. Just been in and wouldn’t buy a single one!!! Like being in a different shop. “New creative director” I’m told by staff. Wow send him back to dunhill and pronto.
Sorry buddy but it is TP not dunhill. So sad.
Moving Away from Thomas Pink
My love for Jermyn Street shirts has been unparalleled and I have tried TM Lewin, Hawes and Curtis and Charles Tyrwhitt before settling for Thomas Pink.
I followed the rebranding of Thomas Pink and remain disappointed with the style and cut, never mind the price going northward.
Thomas Pink of old was my preferred choice and the slim fit is impeccable and bang on the money.
Sadly, I will be looking at Eton shirts as the style is a lot better than what obtains currently with Thomas Pink. I would rather pay premium price for Eton shirts than the new Thomas Pink shirts.
Sorry it's over
I have been a huge fan or Thomas Pink for many years. I have a range of casual and work shirts and wouldn't go anywhere else. Me and their little fox logo go back a long way BUT all that has changed - Sadly the "Thomas Pink reboot" has lost me as a customer.
So where to start?
Well the scrapping of the loyalty points wasn't the smartest move. Talk about isolating long-term customers who had built up lots of points just to have them wiped off with not even an explanation or a "thanks for all your support over the years, please spend your points in the next 8 weeks" email.
Putting that major blunder aside, I am not sure who the new shirts are aimed at? Certainly not me who I thought would have been their target market having bought my work shirts and casual shirts for 10 years from the place.
To make matters worse, my girlfriend knowing I liked their shirts bought me one of the new ones for my birthday, the slim fit cut is different, the fabric feels inferior and all this with an extra £40 on the price!
I also sense with some of their new range of shirts they are going for the younger market (a notoriously fickle market) but I question the logic of that in terms of their pricing. By way of two examples:
Their "Multi stripe poplin shirt" is being sold at £145. Well above Hugo Boss's equivalent at @ £90.
Their "Weekend Oxford" shirt range seem no better than a generic casual shirt you can get in GAP for £25.
If it’s not delivering a vastly superior product, Pink are deluded if they think the brand can carry such a premium. Especially whilst trying to also appeal to a new younger audience with no loyalty to the brand.
On my last visit, I chatted to the team in the shop who I have got to know over the years, it seems many customers have had the same reaction to the price hike and the disastrous move up market as me. I couldn't help feeling sorry for the team who must have to deal with disenchanted customers every day. I walk past the shop at lunchtimes and never see anyone in there.
I think this could be the end for TP sadly.
In the meantime, I will continue to scour TK Maxxs for end of line old TP shirts (pre-reboot).
What a shambles!
I spent 1000’s of dollars every year on…
I spent 1000’s of dollars every year on Thomas Pink business shirts; especially the “Travelers” line. Got great compliments, amazing quality, durability, and travel ready! NEWSFLASH: No more!!! The design direction change is simply not just disastrous and ugly, but sad, depressing, and dated! “Old fogies” seems to be the new target demographic. You lost me as a customer.
Very unhappy ex customer.
Just to say, I was a massive fan of Thomas Pinks Shirts. The athletic fit worked very well for me and the quality and finish of the shirts made them feel premium. I have just bought 2 new athletic fit shirts and something is wrong. The material feels cheap, the buttons have changed, too big and also cheap looking in my opinion. All this and the price has increased! Sorry, I will be looking for a new premium shirt maker, or maybe it is time to visit TM Lewin, they can't be any worse.
What do people think of the new "Pink…
What do people think of the new "Pink Shirtmakers London" that rolled out in November of 2018.
Went to new NYC store - Looks good, but for $200+ for a shirt and ~$1,400 for a shirt, not looking to be guinea pig.
Anybody have any feedback?
Long term buyer no more
Long term buyer no more, I've been buying Thomas Pink shirts for years, absolutely loved their casual shirts, in my opinion this gave them more brand identity that the generic business shirts they have and rarely saw people around London wearing them. I also loved their socks but these seemed to have been phased out too.
Recently there's some honestly baffling design decisions made on the style of the shirts, especially the ugly ugly vintage and bengal flavours.
They seem to have phased out all casual shirts with the logo and more fun colours and general started targeting old men. Shame, won't be buying again.
Fantastic customer service from Menina…
Fantastic customer service from Menina after I had a problem with a prior purchase.
Buy TM Lewin shirts instead
Purchased 3 shirts from Thomas Pink at a cost of £90 each. They didn't have them in stock in the store (Newcastle) so said they'd post them to me. The shirts arrived but one was in 'cheap', transparent plastic wrapping - different from the other 2. The shirt collar was rippled. We contacted the store and they asked us to return it. (No offer to pay for the cost of doing so.) We sent the shirt via 'special delivery'. As no one was bothered enough to advise us that they'd received the shirt we contacted them. Yes they'd received it and were sending us a replacement which "..has been checked..". No apology for the inferior shirt, no apology for the inconvenience of having to return the shirt and, as there was still no offer to refund the cost of returning the shirt I asked them to do so. They agreed. The replacement shirt that "has been checked" duly arrived and is in worse condition that the first one. I put a note on Twitter 3-4 days ago (with a photo of the collar) to see if that would generate some kind of interest from TP but guess what ......it hasn't. My advice? Buy TM Lewin shirts (I have), they seem to be of the same quality at just over a third of the price.
