Good until something goes wrong

Good until something goes wrong - very disappointing customer service experience. We had a faulty cartridge where the printer wouldn't register it and wouldn't work at all whilst it was installed. Wrote to share my experience and ask for assistance, but ended up having a whole email exchange with the authenticity of my complaint being questioned (as it had been ordered some time ago - I had only just taken it out of its sealed package as I had it in stock as a replacement). Was told I couldn't get a refund, but would get a credit note once I had returned the faulty cartridge and it had been received (with a threat of further charge if I didn't get it there within 14 days of me emailing), with no offer of payment for the postage and packaging to return. So I will now end up out of pocket for the faulty cartridge and have ended up buying more cartridges from another company (Ink Factory who were much cheaper and very efficient sending) so that I could get the printer working again.

I have wasted so much time and energy, and been stressed not being able to use the printer, with no acknowledgement or apology received. Would definitely not recommend this company

Looking at the emails that have been exchanged, the information that has been requested is standard with our manufacturers, to determine what went wrong with your cartridge. The more information we have in the form of images, the less chance there is of needing to have the cartridge collected, but I can understand how frustrating this felt whilst you were unable to use your printer.

To ensure we can get this sorted quickly for you, we escalated this to the Customer Service Manager, who has made sure that your order is fully refunded, rather than a credit voucher, and has also advised this didn’t need to be posted back to us, but as you had already done this, has also agreed to refund the cost of the postage as well.

Once again, I'm really sorry that you had a frustrating experience while trying to sort your faulty cartridge with us and we will do everything we can to make your experience a better one if you decide to order with us again.

Shockingly poor experience with this…

Really poor experience with this company. I ordered Samsung compatible toner which is extremely poor quality. Every print out is coming out dirty and streaked and the inside of the printer is now damaged. The company is taking no responsibility for the product. Spoke to a manager who has walked away from resolving the issue. Shockingly poor service.

I have looked over the details of the order, and can see that images provided re the faulty item show this to be a genuine branded product, but the order was for a compatible own brand product. As explained when we spoke earlier, the branded and unbranded toners are housed at different warehouses to ensure a mis-pick featuring the same branded and unbranded product cannot occur.

Therefore we believe that the issue is with a toner that we didn't supply.

Toner giant are a great company.

Toner giant could not have been any better in service,
when i sorted out which ink toner i needed they dispatched it the next day without fail.
Will be ordering my ink toners from them from now on.

Another reliable delivery from Toner Giant

I buy compatible cartridges from TonerGiant and have always had a good and reliable service at the promised time.
Perhaps should have waited as my 10% discount became 25% on Black Friday!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. The toner doesn't print well, they blamed that my other drum is faulty, but totally refused to take any responsibility for that claim. Even better - they refused to acknowledge they said it, although it is all written in their emails.

thank you for taking your time to leave a review. I'm sorry you've experienced issues when using the toner we provided, and that you felt let down by our response when you contacted us.

I have reviewed all case information and the images that you kindly shared with us of your print examples and printer status page. I can see that there has been some miss communication about the cause of the poor print quality and resolution, that has caused you to feel further frustration. 

As mentioned in your email communication with Josh, from the status page image, we can see that your drum unit is 'at the end of it's life' meaning that it has completed the maximum print cycles that it can, and needs to be replaced. This isn't faulty, but similar to toners, drums must be replaced after a set number of prints, as they can cause damage to the printer if you continue to print once this warning message appears.

As the drum is at the end of it's life, it's likely the cause of the faint print quality rather than the new toner, however as mentioned in our previous communication, if you replace the drum and have any problems with the print quality of the toner that we provided, we would be more than happy to replace the toner for you, or offer a full refund under our 3 year guarantee.

I feel that we could have communicated this more clearly, so once again, I'm sorry that we left you feeling frustrated by our response. As a good will gesture, we have arranged for the toner to be refunded in full.

Easy, affordable and quick service
