I popped into the store on the off chance that someone might be able to explain why my SIM card wasn't working abroad. Rosie was really friendly and approachable. She was very professional and really helpful: explaining all the possible reasons behind the issue and talking through everything she was doing and checking on my account. I visited the Chelmsford Vodafone shop in the high street and was served by Rosie.
I wanted to upgrade my old phone, Rosie, was very helpful and knowledgable regarding the product, explained the phone purchase and billing process clearly and concisely so I knew about the two payment plans and what to expect and helped me settle on the correct data plan.
This was five star customer service, I didn't feel rushed or pushed to buy another product.
A very good shopping experience.

The Chelmsford Store Manager
The Chelmsford Store Manager, Rosie, is superb and, in my view, would make an excellent manager of Vodafone Store Managers and technicians. I came to her store with a broken phone and an urgent need to leave with a working phone (ideally fixed or otherwise new). She asked intelligent questions to understand what the objective of my visit was, contacted a nearby phone fixing shop and walked me to it to see if my phone was immediately fixable and once it was established that it was not, went through my new phone plan options. At all times seeking to understand what I needed. She was calm, thoughtful and nothing was too much. In fact, when I said I was dyslexic she asked whether I'd like the fact added to my notes to help my experience with Vodafone in the future.
In contrast to Rosie, when my phone had first broken I had called Vodafone support number. It was a difficult call because I had forgotten my pin and struggled with some of the more random security questions. The operator established that it was likely that my phone was broken and so I'd been told to either post my phone or visit a store. I visited the Stratford Westfield store as I thought it would be quickest, only to been turned away because they needed proof of ID. In the instance of both the Vodafone telephone operator and the member of staff in the Stratford store there were no inquisitive questions, no problem solving, no thinking that perhaps I would need ID (as their system had two names for me) if i decided to get a new package. And worst of all, no help resetting the pin - very simple, and the only help the Stratford staff member could provide.
Back to Rosie, where a non-English speaking mother with two small children was waiting for help with her phone. Junior members of her team were reticent to help when she asked for water for her children. Nothing was too much for Rosie - while still serving me she kindly asked her team to fetch the water. Her kindness distributed evenly to whoever came through her store.
More Rosie's please! She's a diamond. Her management style - both with clients and staff is authentic and effective.
