I was blown away by the quality of the carpets I received from this store. The delivery was also incredibly fast, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I went in store and picked out laminate and carpet and got measured up. All good so far, arranged for them both to be fitted, with laminate being done first. Fitter came, didn't complete the job due to not enough beading and assured me that he would be back to finish the next day. Didn't turn up, couldn't get hold of him nor anyone from the shop. Eventually found out that the shops are all closing down? WTH, that's news to me. Went on to Facebook to try to find someone to resolve the issues, if you write anything remotely negative they automatically remove it by the way. I got to talk to someone who told me they would get it finished and to be patient. OK, been patient for nearly a week, no apology or anything from this company. Tried to tell me when I pushed the issue that I shouldn't have paid the fitter if the job wasn't completed, so passing the buck essentially. Still no resolution, wanting me to wait further and if within a week it isn't sorted he will send someone else to finish it. Why couldn't he offer to do that right now instead of having to wait again? He actually said that he didn't get why I was stressing out, it was only a few bits of beading after all!!! I think they hope that you don't realise that you have rights as a consumer and they don't seem to be bothered about customer satisfaction and after care. The fact that they sub contract to fitters doesn't mean a thing, it's actually still them that you have the contract with. I have now threatened with trading standards due to the work not being carried out satisfactorily or completed at all. I have used this company in the past, but I will never use them again. If you are in Liverpool avoid this company at all costs. I doubt I will get the work finished now and will end up out of pocket by having to bring someone else in independently to fix what they should have done in the first place, but if it puts one person off from using them after reading this review that's all good as far as I am concerned

Absolute cowboys. We have waited for months to get our floor fitted only to wait in all day today for no one to turn up despite calling the Huyton branch numerous times to try and find out when the fitter would be coming. We were also told our original floor that we ordered was all sing all dancing and fully waterproof but when told that they could not supply it that the next one we chose was even better because the first one was not waterproof and this one was. We have now been told by another supplier that non of the type of floor they showed us is waterproof which means we were lied to. To top it all when we asked for our money back we were told that it can only be done by the head office as we paid by card which is absolute rubbish as any other store will refund your card immediately. We went To the Huyton store to try and get redress only to find out it is about to close so maybe this is why we can’t get an immediate refund.

After requesting a call from our floor fitter in a previous review, they have ignored his contact since 30th July we are now at 11th August.

I have also emailed the company several times with no acknowledgement or response.

Underfoot / Walton Flooring Centres way do dealing with a product issue is to ignore the customer and representative!!

Appalling - we are looking to issue a court claim.

Our laminate flooring was sold to us as being suitable for use in kitchen, wc, utility room and hallway however it is lifting everywhere where it has came into contact with the slightest drop of water. Walton floorings employee came to our house and told us the flooring was terrible quality and renowned for issues and that they have stopped using the manufacturer because of similar complaints and they they would sort it out for us. Next we heard an ‘independent inspector’ turned up and wrote a report which says that he has no doubt the damage is caused by water, however we, the homeowners have looked after it properly. He says different types of flooring withstand water better than others - clearly this type doesn’t withstand it at all and shouldn’t have been sold to us. We have had much cheaper Howdens flooring and it lasted years without lifting yet this lifts even if a drop of water touches it. I spoke to another customer from Instagram who had the same problem. The company are refusing to take any responsibility now and backtracking on what they told us on their initial inspection saying that the employee was just trying to offer good customer experience by agreeing with us. They want us to pay for our own inspector which we can’t afford. We paid a lot for this and it’s ruined after 18 months. Clearly not fit for purpose and poor quality. There is no malice in this review, just a genuine experience from a disappointed young family. I wouldn’t recommend this company :(

Shocking experience!!!! Took over 2 months from start to finish for my floor to be laid (one small area in the dining room). Told them from the offset that my floor was wonky but they disagreed and said it could be done.

Lone behold the floor is lifting everywhere, the attention to detail is shoddy, it’s an embarrassment.

The fitter came late each and every time (I have found 12 messages on my phone of times he cancelled or rescheduled). When he did arrive he came stinking of weed, and now I’ve been told the same guy has to sort out the mess.

I chose the company to install my floor because of their “great” reputation - not the fitter. The fitter did not do a good job, he’s left my house and flooring in an embarrassing state, and Walton Flooring’s customer service has been appalling. No follow up calls, no eagerness to help, nothing. The issue isn’t resolved and I do not want the fitter they allocated to me to “sort it out”.

Avoid at all costs and go to Dane Bank Flooring instead (they fitted my carpets afterwards and wish I’d have gone to them for my flooring)!

Thank you so much to Chris at Walton Flooring Centre in Huyton, I had my artificial grass laid yesterday and am absolutely delighted!
The service was so efficient and professional, I requested a quote and Scott came out the following day to measure up and I was booked in.
Dave from Bowring Court and his tradesmen came to actually prepare the ground for the grass and they were amazing! They were so polite and nothing was too much trouble. They cleared up everything after themselves, you couldn’t tell they’d been!
The lads then came to fit the grass and they were brilliant too.
I would absolutely recommend Walton flooring to my friends and my neighbour at the back is going to give them a call.

My floors were completed today (12/3/2020), and they look absolutely AMAZING!!! From beginning to end, the techs were so proficient, courteous, and professional. My son is autistic and suffers from allergies that lurk in carpets, so this was a wonderful change! I appreciate them being patient with my son, as he introduce himself (Hi, my name is Montrell), at least 5 times, each day. Bless them, as they acted as if it was their first time meeting him. Thank you Walton Flooring for the speedy and amazing service!

We had our living room and hallway fitted today, in quick step laminate by Dave and Chris's son, they did an amazing job the finish is perfect, cleared all rubbish away 5 star service thank you both so much,
Also a big thanks to Chris for his service, he even let us take sample home to make sure we were sure we were happy with our choice.
First time with Walton flooring but most certainly won't be the last

Great service from Chris at the Huyton store! Had trouble with the men doing the ground work as they were refusing to level the grass with the paving flags at first which was ridiculous, who pays for artificial grass for it not to be level! But a call to Chris and he got it sorted for me straight away. All work was done within half a day and the grass looks lovely!

Great communication even though I am based in Manchester and the property is in Liverpool that needed a new kitchen floor so we never actually met but I am thrilled with the quality and service provided, highly recommended. Can’t thank Chris and his brilliant fitters enough. Chris went above and beyond to match my landing carpet that they no longer stocked to the new bedroom carpet they have just laid. The fitters were great and even sorted a couple of loose floorboards. This is the third time I’ve used Walton flooring and will most certainly be buying from them again, Thank you Walton Flooring.

Walton Flooring are a family company close to where we live. The service they provided to us was excellent. It was personal, friendly and most important of all, efficient.
Although there was a gap of three months between ordering and laying, due to Covid, the product and fitting was first class.
I would highly recommend this company.

Had 3 bedrooms hall stairs and landing carpeted and Vinyl in bathroom. Communication was excellent From start to finish, Customer service over the telephone and in store was really reassuring and friendly, fitting was perfect. I would highly recommended this company.
