*UPDATE*

After eventually speaking to James, it was agreed the flooring I had purchased had not been fitted to the specification I had requested when placing my order. My floor has now been uplifted and refitted and I am more than delighted with the end result, I love it! The fitters were excellent, James covered the cost of the extra flooring and messaged me after it was refitted to ensure I was happy. He has also apologised for the way this was dealt with and advised me that lessons have been learned in relation to their complaints procedure, as a result I would recommend Walton Flooring and would use them again. Thanks again 😃

Avoid at all costs, absolutely appalling service. Multiple issues with floor selection. First issue was quoted a different amount to when the floor was being fitted.

First appointment for fitting cancelled.

Shop then informed fitters that the flooring was for the lounge when it had been ordered for a bedroom. Fitters then incorrectly fitted flooring and provided the excuse that herringbone could be fitted multiple ways which was never discussed. Specific photos had been provided to demonstrate how the floor was to be fitted which was either not communicated or ignored.

I was then told I should have been there to instruct the fitters even though they were informed I could not be present for the already rescheduled appointment.

At no point was i contacted to ask what orientation I wanted the herringbone fitted even though they had managed to contact me earlier that day to explain they were running late.

Has been one month since fitting and it has been impossible to speak to the manager responsible for fixing this mess. I contacted them again two weeks ago and they still have not rectified this or had the decency to respond.

I called yesterday and was informed i would get a callback from ‘James’ which is still yet to materialize.

The only compliment I can give these cowboys is that they are efficient at requesting payment before fitting. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

I found ‘Steve’ incredibly aggressive to deal with and his obnoxious manner is utterly appalling. Own up to your mistake and stop trying to push the blame onto the customer!

Very quick in the initial call out and quote for artificial grass, even quicker with taking payment but the customer service went downhill from there. The lead time was five weeks after payment then got moved due to the weather. We had the fitters turn up before the groundwork was done then the fitters not turning up after the groundwork was completed and walton flooring not having a clue what was going on and not returning phonecalls after several attempts. Couldn't fault Luke doing the groundwork and the end result looks great with the grass laid but I certainly wouldn't recommend walton flooring centre.

Had great service over the phone any regular emails from a fella called Chris can’t fault him but very poor quality fitting of my artificial looks absolutely terrible to get them out to tell me it’s the way your grass has fell and you can’t see it on certain angles ridiculous!

I’d definitely recommend going somewhere else

The fitters did a good job and arrived on time.

Couldn't be happier with my new LVT flooring. Sales team have have great product knowledge and customer service was 1st class. The fitter Neil was so clean, tidy and professional, I even received a courtesy call the next day. Thanks to all at Walton flooring we will definitely be back and recommend you to all our friends.

STAY WELL AWAY I got carpets, Lino and laminate the mess they left was disgusting, glue canisters, blades, and lino in my recycling bin. The fitter didn't seal the floor in the kitchen, said he didn't have any. I ordered expensive door plates and when I checked they'd fitted the cheap ones upstairs and one expensive one from kitchen to the hallway. I told them I didn't want them to fit the bathroom and they won't refund the cost of the lino and fitting. When I spoke to Chris from Huyton he told me I'd canceled the expensive plates and gone for the cheaper ones which I never and when I asked him to explain the espensive plate in the kitchen. he went off the phone for a few minutes, said someone had come into the shop, and said that they must have fitted it by accident. I've now reported it with photos as well. Don’t want to edit or delete my review as it’s honest and true. It’s been removed for that reasons that is been resolved, it most definitely hasn’t been resolved. I’ve checked the trust pilot to check if I’ve done/written anything wrong and I have not.

Has Amtico fitted today, the fitter Lloyd and his colleague (sorry don’t know his name) were brilliant, their attention to detail was great. Very tidy and I love my new flooring! Thanks to everyone at the Moreton shop!

Just had lounge and hall fitted with laminate and carpets on stairs and landing and have been really happy with the service amd quality of flooring.

Where to begin.... completely unhappy with this whole transaction that has happened here.

There has been huge mounds of soil and hardcore left next to my house that has been left behind after installation, I had half of the garden dug up for decking previously and the groundsmen added the grass and soil that they removed for the artificial turf to the soil already there, and they charged us £60 to have it ALL removed, ALL of it. There is still huge mounds of soil left next to my house, I can’t even get my car up my driveway.

So not only now has the pile of soil next to my house got even bigger, theres now a mound of stones and sand that was left over from the groundworks added to it. The extra soil wasn’t taken away, not even half of what was there has been taken. They’ve completely taken the p*ss out of us.

I want the waste gone, if not i’ll have the money back that ive paid so far for waste removal i’ll use it to pay for someone to come remove it.

I’ve already been contacted once about this review and told the issue would be sorted if I removed it. Which it hasn’t been. I’m now getting fobbed off by Walton Flooring saying its not their problem. Avoid!

Chris from the Huyton store was extremely helpful and patient!! As I has very indecisive and was unsure which laminate to pick!!
He allowed me to take full pieces home as samples to see which looked best!
Very friendly and helpful! and quoted the best prices all around!!

Floor has now been fitted by Dave!! again, extremely helpful and patient!

We have just had a combination of laminate flooring, (herringbone style), and carpeting for stairs and landing ordered and fitted by the Huyton store. Couldn't fault the company!!! From the initial choosing of what we required, to the measuring & pricing. There was no pressure or "persuading" from the company. We were allowed to choose what we wanted, but we were happy to receive advice when needed. All three fitters, one for the laminate, two for the carpet, were professional at all times. All did a fabulous job, no complaints whatsoever. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company!!!

This is the third time we have purchased carpets from the Huyton branch, this is due to the fact there is a great choice and Chris and the team are always professional and ensure everything goes to plan. The follow up call following fitting is a lovely touch, we would definitely recommend.

Quick and friendly service

From entering the showroom
Was made to feel comfortable. We initially looked at wood flooring. Brian the assistant was such a good help and nothing was too much trouble! He explained the various types and we made our selection. Fitter came out to measure up then date confirmed and fitting took place. Everything from start to finishing the fitting was perfect!
So much so we then went into the shop again to chose a carpet for another room. Had similar experience and very happy with the whole process. Thank you very much for a smooth purchase .....you come highly recommended!
