Walton Flooring Centre Reviews 

A poor service from the minute the flooring was delivered and fitted. The seems lifted and peeled. The Walton Flooring Centre kept telling us it was due to water damage. This would be acceptable except for the fact that we did not spill or put water all over our floor! They strung us along with claims that they were trying to get us a remedy via the manufacturer. It was never going to happen and they just kept telling us that we needed to spend money on inspections to prove it wasn't water damage. They repeatedly recommended a particular company to do it and we did not feel comfortable using them due to them constantly recommending we use them. Any other inspector was 4 to 5 times more expensive also. A farce of a company and if they want to challenge this review, I've plenty emails that I can post on here! In my opinion, the Walton Flooring Centre is a shambles of a business with no customer service. They don't even deserve the one star!

Amazing service love my floor all the customers comment on it

BECAUSE I HAD PAYED AND WAS WAITING FOR THE FITTING ON THE CONTRACTED DATE, THEY DID NOT TURN UP, THEY SAUD DEFINITELY THE NEXT DAY, BUT 4.30pm STILL NO SIGN, I RANG ANOTHER OF THEIR STORES AS THE SELLER AT THE STORE I ORDERED DID HARDLY ANYTHING SO OTHER STORE RANG FITTERS AND HE TOLD ME I WAS NOT EVEN ON THAT DAYS LIST FOR FITTING, THE STORE MANAGER FROM OTHER STORE SORTED IT FOR ME AND IT WAS EVENTUALLY FITTED THAT DAY ABOUT 5.30pm SO THE APPOINTED DAY THEY NEVER CAME OR EVEN CALLED ME THEN I RANG THEM SO THE NEXT DAT WAS ARRANGED AND WHEN I RANG AFTER 4.30om I WASNT SUPPOSED TO GET IT THAT DAY EITHER! BUT OTHER STORE MANAGER SORTED IT, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BRILLIANT AT THAT STAGE BUT ONCE YOU HAVE KEFT THE SHOP AND RHEY HAVE YOUR MONEY ITS FINGERS CROSSED TIME AS TO WHEN CARPET WILL BE DELIVERED AND FITTED.

Bought my carpets in Feb 2018 for two bedrooms and the hall stairs and landing. No issue with the bedroom ones but the hall and stairs have marked from day one despite being "stain resistant" When I called the shop in March I was told by the guy who sold me them "your issue is with the carpet ,manufacturer not us" When I explained otherwise they did send an inspector out (who was not independent but the same chap who came to do the measuring) he suggested that because I had cleaned a part of the carpet because of a spillage I may have used too much shampoo so the remedy was to wash the area again with some bleach in the water. This I did but as soon as it gets a bit of traffic the area and other parts which have not been shampooed at that time hold the dirt and look terrible. These were not cheap carpets, i spent over £1200 with WFC. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend.

I have had 5 rooms fitted with wooden floors. The rep came out to measure he just measured and gave me the price then went. No hidden prices i was delighted. The staff are really helpfull and i reccomend to all my family & Friends. X

The fitters were due to arrive between 9:30 and 11:00. By 12:00 they had not arrived and not been in touch. I rang and they said they were about an hour and a half behind.
Once they arrived everything was fine, service, professionalism

Had to get the fitter out again to correct a few issues. The fitter never arrived on agreed day, had to go to the shop in Wavertree to chase it up. Did have issues resolved and accomodated my out of office hours request.

Ok price was fair for product, and to be honest it was a bit difficult to find really thick laminate so we were lucky to come accross this company.

What I wanted to really say was that the workmen/fitters they use were excellent. They were so clean and tidy and polite and even brought with them an event shelter so they could work outside despite the weather to keep our house clean. Lovely dealing with them and would buy from them again.

Good selection, friendly, knowledgeable staff through from sales to fitting. I've used them for a full house and now a lounge and bedroom, both times no problems or issues.

We had two room done. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. They came out to measure up and we were told that both surfaces were fine for installation. Fitting is supposedly included in the price but the fitting element is deducted from the payment you make to Walton and you then pay that amount to the fitter. That would be fine, but for the fact that neither of the surfaces were suitable for fitting and so this cost considerably more than was deucted from the invoice. Despite speaking to Walton this was not repaid to us, so be careful

From start to finish, we received excellent, friendly and professional service. The guy who helped us choose knew exactly what he was talking about and was able to offer us a selection of quality carpets to suit both our needs and budget, but in no way did we feel pressured into making a purchase. Once we had decided, the fitting was completed quickly and they did an excellent job. We are delighted with our carpet and already in the process of arranging for another room to be carpeted, again with ease, professionalism and friendliness. I cannot recommend walton carpets enough, these guys main focus is in getting you the right product, not your money. Thankyou to all involved 👍🏼☺️

James and his team, were excellent from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Walton Flooring. The carpet and flooring supplied were. First class. The fitters were excellent thank you so much.

Been waiting nearly two years to get my living room done

Paid for flooring to be put down then laid it wrong came took it all away well that was last October and still no sign of flooring as you've said no to doing it even though it was your liability if you weren't taking liability why remove it and say you would be back to got new flooring. This is kitchen and hallway. Over £900 of my money you've got and I've nothing. Robbing company do not use. Let's see if you print this

Walton flooring did great job at a competetive price, we will be using them again soon.

Great service excellent fitting - only a small job but still treated like a valued customer - I definitely recommend them and will be comming back next year to redo some other rooms.

The carpet fitters were very good. Efficient and professional. Dave the stair transformer was superb. The laminate looks amazing. I highly recommend this store.
