I go to Wickes regularly for DIY supplies. At the Bedford branch Wickes have a 'Golden Girl'. Dawn is always ultra helpful, she is also knowledge about all things DIY, she is bright, breezy, kind and delightfully sincere. Very Friendly Branch who always helpful
I have been visiting this branch for several years and have always been greeted by the friendliest staff who have assisted with my purchases.
Whilst the majority of staff are helpful including management, I would give a special mention to “ZOE” who goes the extra distance to give a personal service and assistance searching for products.
Well done to the management for maintaining what appears to be an enthusiastic and happy team.
Only one negative staff member who is problematic that lets my experience down “Mrs J”, I just avoid at all costs.

I must say that the staff are fantastic…
I must say that the staff are fantastic at the Bedford store. Kirsty, James M & Micheal have an incredible knowledge base and will always go the extra mile. They show kindness and incredible attention to detail especially today when I had an issue with some damages tiles they resolve it quickly and rectified the issue. That’s why I wouldn’t shop at any other DIY store.

Excellent Example Of Customer Service/Experience
Went to the Bedford branch yesterday to buy some paint. The employee that dealt with me was nothing short of fantastic. Polite, respectful, knowledgable and made relevant small talk. I would suggest that this is just the employees general character - but such character really makes service standout. The product I bought is good, but I can get that anywhere to be honest. Service is what distinguishes such businesses from competition, and as is probably clear, I was grateful for the way in which I was served.
