Well I've been coming in to Wicks Blackpool for months trying to 'do up'my house and lets just say questioning life choices, but on on the plus met Helen c who is just great when I walk in. Happy to help, nothing is to much, shows me where everything is. Just a genuine nice lady. Plus love the wicked hair styles too

Hi, went in store today looking for Kitchen cupboard hinges, a member of staff called Brodie was very helpful and helped me find the correct hinges. Brodie is a credit to the store and gives Wickes a good name. 5 stars for Brodie.

Nipped in for a quote for a new kitchen. Anna helped us there and then and did a quick quote which came back £1,000 cheaper than my cheapest quote from competitor's. I booked in an appointment for the following week to order my kitchen and Anna had remembered all my requirements, was so fast and super efficient. She helped with all my questions, showed me different colours and options to match and was just really lovely, professional and great at what she does! Thank you so much, really happy with the service and looking forward to the kitchens arrival!

I picked a gate for my garden, it was covered in bord poo, I asked the front desk have you any more gates the lady said no, she said it's just bird poo, I said can you wipe it off, she said Sam can you get him some wipes to wipe it off. I then told the lady I was about to get breakfast and didn't want to wipe it , the lady just paused to where super Sam stepped in said il wipe it , just leave some good feedback so here I am haa.

We applied for a grant through Wickes in the community for a project run at a local Blackpool charity that supports the local community. Nessa was absolutely wonderful in helping us gather items that we need to be able to run our learn and loan workshops. It was very quick and easy and Nessa was a lovely welcoming member of staff that helped us in deciding what we needed.

Very helpful staff members both on the till (Helen C) and the warehouse. Thanks 😁

I was in the Blackpool branch today I will not see 70 again but am a day person.
I was having difficulty finding all the products on my list. I approached a member of staff Maddie who was more than helpful, she went that extra mile and literally took me round the store
and all my needs were met. Big Thank You. Finally on previous occasions they

Wow had a great experience at wicks Blackpool this week. Member of staff went above and beyond helping me with my options. Saved me time and money. Thank you Mark You deserve a lot of credit for the work you do.

This worktool center at the heart of Blackpool is a tremendous one stop shop with loads of goodies for tradesmen and DIY enthusiast like me.. though I've just discovered this shop quite recently but with the level of professionalism and customer support giving by staff's is completely second to none. Just to mention a staff member known as Mark left his job refilling the shelves to assist me find a similar tile colour matching my sample he kept searching and searching until he arrived at getting me most similar in the absence of the original which I sincerely appreciate. That's one example loads of others since I've accustomed myself to this shop. Good work lads and keep up the good works.

I used the Click & Collect service at Wickes Blackpool and couldn’t fault it. The whole process was quick, easy, and hassle-free. My order was ready to collect, and the staff were super helpful and friendly from start to finish. They made the collection process smooth and efficient. Excellent service – I’d happily use Click & Collect here again!

After a dreadful customer experience at our local Preston branch, we decided to travel the distance to the Blackpool branch to spend our hard earned money and hopefully have a more positive experience.

We were not disappointed!
Despite the shop being busy on a Saturday afternoon, when we entered, we noticed the light hearted atmosphere with pleasant staff and happy shoppers.
We had a query regarding stock (we were making a large purchase of flooring).
I approached a young lady on the till, I'm not sure of her name, Helen perhaps? She was very welcoming and dealt with my request immediately.
She radio contacted a colleague for further information, and he appeared as she spoke.
He (Mark) was upbeat and friendly, and he clarified my request. He escorted me to the relevant flooring area and chatted about the stock levels.
Mark disappeared to the stock room and then returned quickly, informing me that they had exactly what I needed.
He guided us towards the stock holding area to collect the products.
As we walked, Mark greeted other customers with a cheery "Hello", ensuring they were being looked after and able to locate what they were looking for. Each person appeared to appreciate his attention.
He brought the flooring out of the stock room and loaded it onto our trolleys, then helped us to move them to the tills.
After taking payment, he ensured that we were okay with the heavy load and thanked us for our custom.

Considering that it was towards the end of the working day, and the store was still quite busy, the staff were polite, chatty and informative.
I asked Mark to confirm his name and he informed me that he was the Duty Manager. No wonder the staff appeared relaxed and happy in their work, with an enthusiastic manager like Mark. He made a mundane trip to a DIY store and memorable trip out.
Despite living on the other side of Preston, Blackpool Wickes will now be our 'go to' for all our DIY needs. Thank you Mark and team!

Order click and collect, text confirmation that the items were ready within 15 minutes.
Collection very good, no waiting, Ian who dealt with order was very pleasant and helpful.
Overall great experience.

I have been in twice now once further kitchen and again for lounge units Anna was superb from start to finish she took my ideas and ran with them and the results were amazing she was professional through and is top notch at the design work i would go anywhere else she a credit to the company

We had an appointment booked for 1pm at the Blackpool Wickes store. Unfortunately, due to traffic we didn't arrive in store until 1.07pm. At this point Nigel was sat with two customers discussing their requirements for a kitchen. Okay, we were a little late so he was dealing with other customers. I completely understand, that's fine, but we felt it would have been polite if he could have excused himself for a moment to acknowledge us. After approx 15 minutes, Nigel finished with the other customers, then promptly disappeared for an additional couple of minutes. When he returned their was no apology for running now almost half an hour late. His demeanour was nonchalant from the get go. We sat down, explained what we wanted, which was 6 units to make a home office. Nigel isn't the greatest listener and needed reminding a couple of times of which units we wanted. After clicking away and mentioning several times we weren't having enough units to activate discounts, he showed us a price over £2500, which was before fitting or worktops were discussed. He then asked if he should continue quoting. We will never return to wickes after this dissapointing experience. We felt very discriminated against because we didn't want a full fitted kitchen and our business wasn't worth his time. We then went to another local well known d.i.y store (without an appointment) and were given a price just over £1400 including a worktop for the same design and door quality (wrapped MDF). It truly makes me wonder if the £2500 price was accurate or just a way to get rid of us. Guess we'll never know, just a hunch.

If I could have given 0 star rating, I would have done. The most atrocious service I have ever had is from Wickes. An absolutely disgusting, unprofessional, and uncaring installation and a none existing customer service. After eight weeks not one single action has been taken in regard to my bathroom installation complaints. Wickes has refused to give me thier complaints procedure. Their approved bathroom installer has refused to provide a business address, email address, and any other details regarding affiliated trade bodies and associations, and the installer has increased their bill by 67% with no valid explanation, with no major changes to the design, and the installer has given me 3 final amounts (Wickes appears not to be concerned about this, and this is their installer, I did not choose this person, Wickes did).

The complaints process is deliberately design to be dragged out past the point of installation and has made me and my husband both feeling stressed, distressed, and physically ill.

This is the most unprofessional and sloppy workmanship which Wickes appear to be totally unconcerned about, and after 8 weeks including during the installation period (3 weeks instead of 1 week as advised), no one from Wickes has been bothered to actually view onsite the botched installation (I pleaded with them to visit during the installation works) or directly talk to me about any of the problems, which are serious fundamental technical issues (for example, a moving toilet cistern incorrectly connected to the sewer and the shower fitted incorrectly so it leaks into the floorboards), and which may have to be partially ripped out and redone at my own expense (for example, the £1000 worth of tile wall panels will need to be ripped out and replaced). I was told that my bathroom was one of the smallest they would install and to date it is costing me (final bill) £10,622, not including the amount it will cost me to rectify the issues. There is so much more I could put in this review, including 9 days without a working toilet, 18 days without washing facilities, absent installer etc. but there isn’t enough room.

What an utterly miserable experience. Wickes “house proud”, MORE LIKE HOUSE SHAMED. I wouldn’t wish Wickes on my worst enemy. I feel that I have been scammed by a rogue trading company. I feel totally abused and mislead by Wickes.

Went to the store and was talking to a lovely lady called Kathryn. She was so friendly and helpful. I wish all the people that work in customer service were as pleasant as she is.

I booked a design appointment with Neil your consultant at the Blackpool store for a Bathroom consultation. What a waste of time from the start he was not interested, basically fobbed us off, his manors were poor and just didn’t want to know. He totally ignored my wife so she walked off and all he focused on was negative aspects ie position of the shower unit he then gave me a quote without any idea of what we wanted in terms of bathroom style. I just felt uncomfortable and left it there. I will not be returning anytime soon POOR customer care.

Superb team @ Wickes Blackpool. Incredibly knowledgeable & helpful. Particular mention to the Store Manager Daniel Bowles who went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service.
