I just wanted to leave a review in regard to our new kitchen, me and my partner have just had installed.
For the start to the finish, Mike in particular has been excellent and super supportive, throughout the entire process.
He helped us design the kitchen, and was patient and understanding whilst we were indecisive. He went above and beyond to help us, and I couldn’t be happier with how our new kitchen is looking.
I would highly recommend the staff at Wickes Blackpool!

Came all the way down from Lancaster in horrible weather conditions for specific clearance tiles not available at our home store… it was quarter to 4 on a Sunday and they could have quite easily said no…. The tiles we needed had only 5 boxes on the shelves when we needed 11 and the price was different to the prices in our store on the website. They took the time to search the whole warehouse for the remaining pallet and opened it for us to get us out of there for 4pm with what we came for and at the lower price stated on the website. They were all lovely and told us repeatedly it was no problem and not to apologise. Absolute above and beyond customer service!

A prefect shopping experience for me! Went in with a list of queries and requirements. All were solved and met.
Lovely, knowledgeable staff...who are happy (& able!) to help. Good prices on most products, compared to other companies, even those that perport to offer trade prices.
Definitely worth going.

A great trip to Wickes Blackpool to collect materials for Community Workshop Lytham so we can make some Hedgehog Boxes.
Very friendly knowledgeable staff throughout the store, with a big shout-out to Nessa the stores Community Champion, who very effectively sorted our needs.

I asked a staff member (I didn't get his name) where the Wickes Push Lawn Seed Spreader was. I had seen it online the same morning. He said he didn't know of the item. I said I was certain that I saw it on Wickes Web site today. He took me to a terminal and looked for it. There it was! Not yet on the shelf, only just come in and still on a pallette. He asked a colleague to look for it.
She found it. Only 2 in stock, well, only 1 now.
My thanks to the staff at Blackpool Wickes for going the extra yard and believing me. Great job. It's nice to tell a positive story.

Bathroom Order 036890 & Kitchen Order 036896.
On 19/03/2025 we ordered a new bathroom and kitchen from Wickes at Blackpool. These were designed by Neil Gregory Design Consultant. Re the bathroom, the installer visited and told us the install cost would be twice as much as specified when ordered. He asked to be paid in cash & said that if we wanted to pay him by BACS the added VAT would cost more. We reported this to Neil Gregory and the installer was replaced! The kitchen Installation was due to start on 12th May but we were advised at the end of April that the installer had been involved in a car crash & injured his back, so was unable to carry out the installation. Another installer was assigned who came to see us & was clearly unprepared and had not even looked at the paperwork. He promised to ring us the following day but we heard nothing. He had stated that, in any event we would not be able to do the job until June as he was on paternity leave!. In the meantime, the first installer had a told Wickes that he had recovered from his back injury and could begin the installation on 19th May. In prep for installation we emptied all the cupboards and cleared the worktops. This left us with very little actual living or dining space in our open plan area but, as we believed it would only be for the 2 weeks (as advised on purchase) we would try to manage. The installer arrived on Monday 19/5 and spent 2 hours ripping out the old kitchen, including disconnecting the washing machine and removing the sink unit. As we had been told the original delay in starting the instal was due to him having a back injury, I offered to help with the lifting but he obviously was in no pain as he declined the offer and was carrying the heavy components easily. We gave him £550 in cash at his request towards the specialist works. He then left for the rest of the day, returning sporadically during the rest of the week, only for a couple of hours at a time. He only actually worked one full day that week, giving various excuses as to why he had to leave early. These excuses were conveyed to us by text. On Thursday 22 May he called to say he was sick and despite saying he would be working all over the BH weekend, he did not turn up on the Sunday or Monday. On the BH Monday, when he did not turn up, we tried to contact him during the morning to see where he was and he texted to say he was unable to come citing quite frankly a less than credible excuse! On Thursday 29th, he left us to go the dentist at 11am, then said he had to go to take his dog to the vets due to it being attacked by another dog, but would come back. He didn’t! The following day he just did not turn up. His electrician turned up but could not complete his work as he had also been unable to make contact with him. He texted me later that evening to say he had taken a pain killer and fallen asleep. He said he would come the next day. He did not. Nor the day after that! During this whole 2 week period we were left with no sink unit and in complete chaos. Only one carcass was built at this point. Not only did we have everything piled up and in boxes, the installer’s tools and machinery were left in the kitchen, making access around our open plan living area very difficult. Every morning we got up early in prep for his coming but most of the time he did not come. In total he was with us around 26 hours in 2 weeks. His tools remained in situ until he came to collect them following his removal from the installation by Wickes bosses. Throughout this period we expressed our dissatisfaction with the service both with Neil Gregory and Rob Connelly. Rob arranged for another fitter to visit us on Saturday 2nd June to fit a temporary sink unit. We then had a discussion with Rob during which is was agreed that this service was clearly unacceptable and it was by decided by Rob C to replace him with another installer.
The new installer began work later that week and the kitchen was finished on 20th June. This installation, which were told would take 2 weeks, took 4 weeks. We had a number of days when we prepared for the first installer to arrive and did not turn up, we had no sink unit and we were living in a building site, with access very difficult. We also have a dog and it proved very difficult to stop her gaining access for the prolonged periods when no work was being carried out in the kitchen area. There were tools left lying around and it was a very unsafe area from a pet’s perspective!
We had large overflowing unsightly Hippo bags in our front garden for a month when it should have been only 2 weeks. Also we had to re-arrange appts & events for the extra 2 weeks. We came to Wickes because of the reassurance of a reputable company but it was very disappointing & stressful. Having said that we are indebted to Neil Gregory (Design Consultant) for his understanding, expertise & help.

Nessa was fantastic with her communication and customer service.
After speaking to her earlier in the day after she followed up on some missing TRVs form a delivery order, she facilitated a return, exchange and new purchase in the evening.
Her colleagues seemed to value her knowledge after calling her over for support.
We shop at Wickes a lot when doing renovations. Always a great price with the TradePro.

We're tidying our tired back yard so popped in for some no grow sand and some sealer. In the store Nessa was very helpful in locating the required items and talking us through other options. Good customer service is rare in a lot of places but this was a very positive experience.

Fabulous service from Alice , who worked very hard to put our order into two deliveries so that it met the weight restrictions. Mike was very helpful in telling us that we could have a 500 cupboard and cut out a little of the casing so we could have the 600 sink that we wanted.and Danny was also great when I spoke to him today.
We really do like this Wickes store. The staff always go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
