Wickes - Christchurch Reviews 

Shocking lack of service. Waited for earliest available delivery slot (3 days). Stayed home all day and in checking order, the status says delivered. Delivery signature is not mine. Delivery is not with neighbours. After 40 Isles minutes on the phone I'm now told I have to wait for 'investigations' to conclude with no idea when that will be. So in the meantime I'm out of pocket. Leaves me no choice but to initiate credit card chargeback. Total disinterest on the phone. Avoid.

Update... after another call to Wickes' customer service I received a call from the Christchurch store. The store manager told me she'd discussed with the delivery driver who had proof he delivered to my home! How can I interpret that in any other way than being viewed by her as a complete liar? Eventually, with no interest and no apology she initiated a refund. What a totally unprofessional delivery and follow up response. No customer service whatsoever. Never again.

Have been using my local Wickes for a few years now, staff always very helpful with whatever I need and very friendly.
As a decorator I actually go buy products that are a lot cheaper than my local decorators merchant which is a bonus.
Just picked up their own brand trade white emulsion, as good as Dulux and half the price 🤗👍🏼

Ordered 16 bags of compost that was meant to be delivered on Saturday. Stayed in all day waiting for it and got a phone call about 6pm to say the van had broken down. The guy on the phone assured me that it will be delivered in the morning on Sunday.
After mid day Sunday I got a call to say they couldn't find a driver this time so can't deliver to us.
I have waisted my entire weekend waiting for this delivery only to be fobbed off with a different excuse each time.
The guy on the phone hung up after our conversation in which I was annoyed but didn't swear. I now have no idea if I'm getting my £100 back or the compost will be delivered on a later date.
This has been handled really badly and I won't use them again

We returned to the Christchurch store as we required another kitchen and what a pleasant experience it was
We were impressed with your new showroom, but its our kitchen designer Louise who stole the show. From the start she was accommodating to our needs, but also offered invulnerable advice, providing alternatives and solutions with a smile.

Thoroughly looked after by Lou at the Christchurch store. We were budget conscious but also picky and Lou worked with us to help us achieve our kitchen goals which is now suiting our ever growing family down to a T.

Shambles! We had a new kitchen installed and the installer has made so many errors to the kitchen. Over six weeks of calls to customer services we are no closer to resolving anything! Broken promises are all we had. No promised call backs, no nothing! Absolute hopeless company to deal with. We are now in the process of escalating everything.

The bathroom fixtures & installation look amazing/outstanding. Ziggy the fitter was brilliant, very professional, diligent & very clean.

Would recommend to my family & friends.

Louise @ Christchurch - Excellent service from a very friendly and knowledgeable designer. We like the common sense, customer first ethos that Wickes have, coupled with a very good product. Louise was soooooo patient with us whilst we asked a million questions and designed our dream kitchen. Always on your side giving you really good advice, no hard sell just really good at what she does.

Simon at the Christchurch branch went out of his way to be helpful, regarding wood that we purchased.

The service we received was excellent, we have been dealing with Katrina for over 10 years and always it is a nice experience.

We had a kitchen designed by Laura Martin who was brilliant.
She listened to our needs and within a couple of hours had the perfect solution.
First class service

A third addition about wickes support. There isn't any!
The only sort of help I've recieved is the planner, conscientious to a point, plus always responded to my emails.
Doesn't seem to end there as asking my loan company to step in, they were sending me complaints form. But, big issue here, there's no way of opening them up! Everytime you log on, it's says that the password is not recognised. Tried this several times, but each time the same. So where does that leave me? No where, if you want support from the circle of companies associated with a big firm like wickes, your in for a shock! No one cares after they have your money!
Update of the customer satisfaction quoting 'this is not how we done things', its all gone quiet now, I'm out of the frame regarding any help from them but I still email the shop, which makes them do a reply with more BS. So on your head beit if you sadly chose this firm for your fitment.

Kelly at the Christchurch branch is always very helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Our trade pro discount comes in very useful when buying materials.

Wanted to write this review for Laura Martin in the kitchen design team, despite us not going with Wickes for the final product due to other financial reasons, as she was excellent, helpful and efficient throughout the process from measurement to design, through to follow up and gracious acceptance of our decision. I would definitely go back to Laura with another kitchen project, thank you!

Our in store design consultant Laura Martin took us through the process of our new kitchen selection from start to finish. She was extremely understanding and gave us some valuable tips and ideas to consider when making our purchase. She was able to answer most of our questions with ease taking her time to explain the purchase mechanism to home installation.
