Wickes - Christchurch Reviews 

Our in store design consultant Laura Martin took us through the process of our new kitchen selection from start to finish. She was extremely understanding and gave us some valuable tips and ideas to consider when making our purchase. She was able to answer most of our questions with ease taking her time to explain the purchase mechanism to home installation.

We went to buy a kitchen which we were fitting ourselves. Lou @Christchurch Wickes was exceptional! She was not pushy but very knowledgeable about the products and experienced in her work. She came up with ideas that we had not considered. She showed us around the showroom so we could look at choices and layouts. She went over and above to help us for which we are so grateful.

There are many places to get a kitchen from these days and we did look around several companies before going into Wickes. Lou@ the Christchurch store is the reason we choose to order through Wickes, she understood the look we wanted to achieve, was great in finding solutions and making suggestions. Really pleased with the quality of the products we choose too. So much so she's working on our second project, the utility and she's going to be doing our main kitchen in 2025. Laura at Christchurch was really helpful in working out all the needed parts for a replacement kitchen including colours and accessories.

Lou designed a fantastic kitchen for us. Her knowledge and experience was invaluable in guiding us through the process to ensure that we had the perfect kitchen to meet our needs.

We also used Wickes fitters, who again have been great in working with us during the installation phase of the project.

It has been a great experience and we will certainly go to Lou @ Wickes in Christchurch again.

Wickes in Christchurch were so helpful. Katrina was absolutely brilliant.

Expert advice and friendly staff. Especially Lou Ingram at Christchurch branch who went above and beyond to help fit what we required into the space we had available. Not an easy task! Would definitely use again for next kitchen and Wickes in general for other stuff!

Amazing staff so helpful. We didn’t have a clue about hinges for doors or how much grout and adhesive for tiles. Cam really took time to help us and make sure we got everything we needed. I hope you value him as an employee as we wouldn’t have been to get what we needed without him . Been to B&Q the week before for the exact same stuff and came out empty handed as no staff available to help

My husband has spent days preparing and painting our hallway. He used Wickes own brand brilliant white , solvent based eggshell paint for all the woodwork. In the tin it looked white but when dried it was a definite blue. He promptly took it back to the shop and they initially refused to give him his money back because he had opened the tin! He was extremely angry having wasted several days and a lot of hard work - ruined because of a faulty product. After kicking up a fuss they finally gave him his money back and admitted that there was a recall on the product. My husband looked online and found other people who were warning the public not to buy this product - if only we had seen this sooner.

Louise Ingram is a great consultant who came measured our bathroom and ordered everything we needed to replace our old and tired bathroom. Brought in the sale so was amazing. The only thing what was wrong was the shower we ordered was out of stock for a month, we went in there saw Lou on a Sunday morning, she emailed me Tuesday to let us know what was going on then by Friday we had received the shower we wanted by DPD - amazing service through out this, when I phoned customer services to book the rest of my delivery they were amazing as well.
Well done Wickes for making the whole experience a good one
