Susan & Michelle two lovely people came straight to assistance, I was preparing for a bit of back and forth worrying if my online order return was even possible in store but honestly had such a great experience they offered their assistance, we had a good chat and laugh very friendly and I was in and out of Wickes Hanger Lane less than 20 mins and email confirmation of return being processed. Great customer service !

Hadz(the sales assistant at Hanger lane branch) was amazingly helpful. She went out of her way to help me with loading numerous large compost bags into my car.

What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service—especially from a member of staff named Hadia. She went above and beyond to assist me, taking the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and offering clear, knowledgeable advice. Her friendly and approachable manner made a big difference, and she handled everything with professionalism and genuine care.
It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and attentive, and Hadia is a real credit to the team. Thanks to her help, my visit was not only productive but genuinely enjoyable.
I’ll definitely be returning to this branch in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for both quality products and outstanding customer service.

Hadz was a very polite and helpful staff whilst there was another lady who was on customer service desk looked at us twice and ignored us and kept scrolling her phone screen, Hadz noticed whilst she was serving others on the till and kindly helped us with our requirements.
Other lady who was on the till really wasn't there mentally or physically to serve the customers.

I moved from Newcastle to London a few years ago, often using wickes store up north. However, I had to write this review because of the excellent service from one of the employees. Talk about going the extra mile, without a doubt she did! She makes you feel so comfortable to the extent that you would always want to go back to the same store. She gives such good advice it’sa pleasure to shop there. Her name I believe is Hadz. Thank you

I've been a regular customer of Wickes since the late eighties and the service has always been great. Even if the odd delivery has gone astray the team at my local branch have always been on hand to sort thinks out.
A special mention goes out to HADZ at the Hanger Lane store - for almost a decade she has been an extremely hard working, friendly, knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful member of the team, 5 stars to her!!

Seema was really amazing in helping me find the right products I needed for my bathroom repairs. As I am new to DIY, she was really patient and recommended the best options from the vast selection.

I visited my local Wickes to find a replacement bulb for my bathroom, but I was struggling to identify the correct one.

Andre approached me and kindly asked if I needed any help. I explained what I was looking for and showed him the faulty bulb. Although he mentioned he wasn’t an expert in that specific area, he still made a genuine effort to assist me and guided me as much as he could.

His willingness to help and positive attitude made the experience much easier. Great customer service!

Just wanted to thank the staff at Wickes near Alperton for the excellent customer service on Friday. With hardly any staff around to help the lady on the checkouts HADIA helped me locate everything I wanted. The store looks different now but she seemed to know where everything was. The other staff were very helpful too so I will definitely be shopping here from now on. Thankyou all.
