Wickes Hanger Lane Disgraceful Delivery Service
Today, Friday 26th July 2024 I had a heavy delivery of aggregate delivered to me in Kenton HA3 from Wickes Hanger Lane. The delivery driver was the most unprofessional I have experienced in 20 years of kerb side delivery. The despicable driver was adamant that he would not reverse his lorry down a cul-da-sac for a kerb side delivery. The cul-da-sac is wide enough for all deliveries includes bin collections, skip deliveries and other professional builder merchant deliver there with no issues. The driver was very arrogant and had already positioned his vehicle for delivery even before he rang my doorbell. This rudeness and audacity was very daring and feared no ramification as Wickes allows their bulk delivery drivers to behave in any way they wish. This was echoed from my telephone call to Head Office. I will never order bulk delivery of aggregate from Wickes ever again. I will stick with other professional builders merchants. In the end I had to manually move over half a tonne of aggregate by hand to where I wanted it. Disgraceful service from Wickes Hanger Lane.
