Shocking customer service from the duty manager Terry, in the Haverfordwest store! No people skills dealing with the public!

I needed help with a tap connector and Huw was extremely informative and helpful with chosing the correct one and then went on to help with gardening advice.
I then had reason to return an over -purchase with paint and the store people could not have made it more straightforward and stressless to get a refund.
Excellent service all round.

After meeting with John in HWST store we found him to be:
Very knowledgeable
Easy to talk to
Gave all options available
No pressure sales pitch
Very customer friendly and a pleasure to do business with, after sales service, second to none.

A very helpful paul was able to carry 3 x 10 litre tubs of paint first to the till, and then to my car half way across the car park in haverfordwest. Very happy chap and I was most obliged as I am disabled and use 2 crutches. Why 3 tubs you may ask, well I had to help my step daughter who had just run out and was head to toe in spray paint. So thank you paul

The visit to the Haverfordwest branch was enjoyable and satisfactory in as much as we had all we required for our new kitchen at a price we were able to afford. Everything was made easier by the assistance of Alice Holmes who was friendly, kind and patient:

Always great customer service. The kind lady who helped me on the phone sort my grandads delivery was so helpful and Paula Davies has been helpful on the shop floor. We are regular customers and always enjoy going to wickes

I came in to store and was met with an unhelpful blonde lady at the till, she had abit of an attitude towards me I only asked if an item was in stock, Louise came over as I think she could see I was getting frustrated asked me what it was that I wanted she checked her computer and said if I wouldn’t mind waiting a couple of minutes she would go out the back and have a look for me, less than 5 minutes she was back with my paint. I proceeded to ask her about a project I am in the middle of, Louise came up with alternative ideas to suit my budget. What an incredible polite and helpful lady she really does deserve some recognition. Will definitely be coming back to Wickes for all my diy needs

These guys sorted me out with a Trade Card in a matter of minutes reducing my bill substantially. They even loaded 100+ items on to the system for home delivery.

They bent over backwards to help me out with my order and discount. Saving me hundreds of pounds.

Great staff with amazing unseen positive and can do attitude.

Bought a worktop from Wickes for £270 not exactly cheap. It arrived wrapped up so tightly it was nearly impossible to inspect. The delivery drivers rushed in and out, giving no time to check the item properly. My wife was home alone and couldn’t manage to lift or unwrap something that heavy on her own. When I complained, Wickes just said it should have been checked on delivery no help at all and no responsibility taken. Their so called guarantee means nothing in practice. Very poor service all round. Won’t be buying from them again.

Came in yesterday needed some help wasn't sure what I needed. Alex gave me great advice and I left with the right parts for the job.

I very rarely leave reviews, however, this is one business that is most deserving of one!

I always shop at Wickes as I’m always doing some diy, the staff at the store are very friendly, polite and are always willing to help. They give great advise on what ever project I am doing and advise me on what product is best to use.

Customer services are amazing for click and collects very quick and easy, staff are willing to help you to put heavy items in your vehicle if you are unable to.

All round I am very happy with all the staff at the store that has helped me and I will always continue going back.

Came to store to buy some compost, Paula was extremely helpful and helped me put them in my car.

First time planning/buying a kitchen, made a lot easier by great advice and help from John. Highly recommend him and the store in general. Excellent designing and advice from John and customer service also from Terry.

Gareth our kitchen designer was very knowledgeable and super patient. He had no problem changing the design and was always happy to help.

Came into store today after my husband sent me into get weed killer I was a little stressed due to huge variety of weed killer on the shelves. I was pleasantly pleased when a staff member called Paula asked if I needed some help. Thank the lord Paula seemed to be a keen gardener and understood all weed killer knowledge. She helped me choose the perfect product too which my husband was very impressed when I got home.

I would really like to really thank Paula in the Haverfordwest store for helping a damsel in distress, it’s rare to find a staff member of a store that truly enjoys their job like Paula does!

We were getting a kitchen done and booked a meeting with Wayne. He was excellent from the offset and very knowledgeable. He took us through every aspect of the job and really knew his stuff, showing us alternatives and all sorts of products. A thorough professional.

As mentioned in previous reviews, we are deeply impressed by Gareth Davies. We need to replace part of our kitchen elements. Despite the fact that our project is on a smaller scale, Gareth could not have been more committed. Not only his remarkable expertise but also his friendliness and unbiased attitude towards our individual wishes made “kitchen shopping” a great experience for us. This level of service is rare and speaks for Wickes’ staff policy.
