I was helped by Kevin when selecting some paint for my daughter’s bedroom. Kevin was really knowledgeable and even carried my paint to the car for me. I’m very impressed with the service I received! I will definitely come back when I need more supplies.

Kevin did an outstanding job colour-matching a tricky paint in our desired finish. He was friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable.

Went in your Hemel Hempstead branch to buy an aerosol of Hammerite paint. I was quite taken back by the price which was £19.99!! I find normally the going rate is under £15, and currently it's on Amazon for £12.99. Sorry won't be shopping at yours again.

Wickes design consultant Deepa provided excellent design guidance throughout the process of a recent kitchen replacement project creating a design that looks great and is practical. Deepa was very helpful in every aspect demonstrating samples in the Wickes store and giving her recommendations for products and their combinations and savings. Robert and Miroslaw were the skilled and experienced team of Wickes kitchen fitters. Tidy workers they collected my choice of paint finishes and electric sockets direct from the Wickes store. The whole process went smoothly and I have a kitchen I am very pleased with. I can recommend Wickes without reservation for the design service, quality of the products and the standard of workmanship.

Just completed our new Kitchen installation with Wickes with the help of installer Lee LittleJohn and designer Jamie Goodman. Great communication throughout and couldn’t be happier with the final result. Lee was great at anticipating any issues during the works and patient and supportive with some of the specialist features and the entire team were always reliable and respectful of the property. Had some initial issues with the original installer assigned (CB Plumbing) but when raising this Jamie was quick to help address and ensure the standard expected was met by reassigning to Lee; following this the process was seamless. Would highly recommend working with both these guys if you’re looking to renovate your kitchen.

Brilliant service everytime

The fitter Lee Littlejohn provided a truly excellent service. He really went the extra mile to ensure that the kitchen was fitted to the highest possible standards - nothing was too much trouble. He was punctual, exceptionally hard working and very skilled at his trade. Can’t praise him highly enough.

Jamie G from Wickes in Hemel measured up and one week later, I handed over my dosh. This was a long time in the incubator with 3 different visits to other companies over about 5 years, so I had ‘done my own research’. As I have done several renovations in my house, I know how difficult it can be, managing several trades, contracts, timing and builders asking me questions to which the answer was usually I have no idea, mate. So apparently I can go on holiday whilst the work is carried out, with ll questions resolved in advance. Jamie was knowledgeable clear, experienced, and did not try to push me to buy ‘extras’. It was a pleasure to do business with him.
