Wickes - Leamington Spa Reviews 

So normally over the years i have purchased kitchens from B&Q but thought since a new Wickes opened up in our area I would give them my business.
The kitchen, the Madison range, is very poor quality, parts like dowels, locking tabs etc missing out the fixture kits, chips and chunks out of the unit carcasses. Also the door hinges are not soft close, they make a very load noise when closing. I was not told or offered soft close hinges when the Wickes kitchen team designer was designing the kitchen. Soft close should be a standard item in this day and age. I opened a 600mm wall unit to find it had already been half built up in the past and the backing was water damaged. The worst were the 1000mm base corner units, they are bowing under their own weight. There is nothing to support the middle of the unit and you will never align the doors. God knows what would happen if you put heavy pots and pans in there.
Today the kitchen fitter asked where the worktop fitting kit was and also the coloured infill wasn't there.
I don't like leaving poor reviews but when you spend thousands of pounds on a new kitchen, this quality is not what you want.

I went into the new Wickes store on Saturday. The customer service from store manager Charlie was second to none. He could tell I was struggling to find something and he approached me to ask if I needed help! I would highly recommend this store. 10/10

So we have just fitted a new kitchen with wickes so went to the store in leamington spa and talked to lovely woman called Katie,who came to our house and measured up then designed our kitchen.When they delivered the kitchen prior to fit we found slight damage to one facia got in touch with Katie who very quickly resolved the issue.So kitchen is now fitted looks absolutely gorgeous.So if your from the warwick/leamington area and want a kitchen fitted talk to Katie.

We had our kitchen designed by Katie for our first home and we are over the moon. We absolutely love it. Thank you Katie for creating the best kitchen!

All I could say is that we are extremely happy and we love our new kitchen designed by Bally at wickes. If you are planning on changing your kitchen, please do not hesitate to reach for Bally! She is amazing, with great ideas, and delivered exactly what we were looking for!

I wish to mention the excellent services of Design Consultant, Katie Malkowska of the Leamington Spa unit, and to thank her for her expert, kind and rapid response to our requirements. Due to unavoidable extraneous circumstances, I had allocated a somewhat insufficient time to view, select, order and take delivery of kitchen furniture in relation to an imminent fixed date for the start of a larger building project of which the new kitchen was a key part. With Katie's focused attention the complete process was achieved faultlessly in record time. This included a site visit to correct my inaccurate measurements of the available space and a timely modification and refund to the initial order. The delivery was on time, and the end result is excellent. Finally, the showrooms and design centre in Leamington Spa are of a high professional standard.

We have a small kitchen and Bally did a great job optimising the space for storage capacity and functionality.
We did the installation ourselves, so she also helped us anticipate what could be the main pain points in the process.

Wickes were very helpful throughout the project. It was away easy to get hold of someone from either the design or installation team. While a few items ordered/ delivered weren't correct, this was always fixed promptly in a hassle free manner. At the end of the bathroom instal, any items not needed from the local store Leamington were refunded. The plumber who did the fitting did an excellent job and went above and beyond with various unforeseen items to do with the plumbing and flooring. Overall we are very happy with the finished bathroom, and at around £7,500 this is around £4k cheaper than any other quotes we got.

I designed and bought a kitchen and bathroom from Katie at Wickes Leamington. Really pleased with the process from start to finish. Katie was great and so were both the fitters chosen for the bathroom and kitchen. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Bally was really helpful and listened to what we wanted to achieve in our bathroom revamp.
She knew the Wickes range well and could advise on what would work as well as the ascetics of the design.
She is very skilled with the CAD she used and produced a complete material list with no omissions.

Bathroom installation
Substandard service I have experienced with the recent bathroom installation. positive - I would like to commend the design team, who provided excellent service and demonstrated meticulous attention to detail during the planning phase.

However, the subsequent stages of the installation process have been significantly unsatisfactory. The assigned installer commenced in March and stated would be around 1week project. Upon my return on the aforementioned date, it was evident that the project was far from finished. There were further periods of absence from the property, during which the installer was also unreachable by telephone.

I have contacted Wickes Customer Experience on several occasions and have been informed that the manager would be in contact with me. Furthermore, I received repeated assurances from the installer regarding revised completion dates, none of which were realized. Specialist workmen were eventually engaged; however, the standard of their work falls considerably short of the quality one would expect from Wickes, leading to considerable disappointment. The installer's last visit was 3weeks ago, at which point I was informed that while the bathroom was functional, it was not fully completed. This delay has necessitated the postponement of my move-in date due to the unfinished state of the bathroom and the untidiness left behind. Despite highlighting outstanding issues, I have not received any further communication.
There are so many parts of the bathroom that are incomplete / sloppy workmanship.

My recent attempts to contact the customer experience centre have been equally frustrating. During a call, I was assured that details regarding the complaint process would be emailed to me, and that someone would contact me to discuss the matter further. Neither of these actions has occurred. A follow-up call by me approximately 24 hours later was met with rude and dismissive behaviour, with the representative directing me to the website for complaints department contact information.

I have attempted to contact Wickes complaints department -- again met with silence. The experience I have got has been far below the standard I would have expected. I will not recommend anyone to get an installation done through Wickes.

Recently purchased Bathroom furniture and tiles from Wickes. Katie was extremely helpful and offered lots of advice and it was no problem when we wanted to change our order. Very pleased with the end result.

I recently purchased a kitchen from the newly opened Wickes store in Leamington Spa and couldn't be happier with the end result.

The kitchen design process was easy and collaborative thanks to the designer Katie Malkowska, Katie was super helpful, she took the time to understand my needs and budget, was open to feedback and worked with me through a few design iterations without fuss to create a beautiful kitchen for me.

The installation was carried out by Kosta from Cavaedium Ltd one of Wickes' recommended fitters. Kosta was fantastic, personable, professional and incredibly meticulous. He approached the job with care, working methodically and tidily, and his craftmanship really shows in the final result. The finish is excellent and my new kitchen looks amazing.

Overall, I'm very pleased with both the service and quality of the final kitchen and would highly recommend both Katie and Kosta if you're planning a new kitchen through Wickes.

Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and helpful - staff on the shop floor helping me find what I need, the staff on the tills, click and collect and helping me with the heavy things and my trolley! Really stood out in a positive way, hence I took the time to write this review!

Bally, the designer, listened to our requirements and could not have been more professional in the initial discussions and on showing the finished design.
Would definitely use Bally and Wickes again.

We are so pleased with our kitchen . Everything that was designed by Sarah -Jayne Thorne has come together so well , Tiles , floor units , sink . We just love the curved unit , such a talking point when people visited .

Kosta the installer was a very nice guy . Worked hard and was very conscientious in his approach to doing his job , which was completed nicely .

We have finished the kitchen exactly to the the design , wall paint , tiles and flooring .

Can’t fault my experience at leamington spa yesterday! All staff were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me with what I needed! Excellent service from start to finish!

Great to now have a Wickes in Leamington Spa. I wasn't able to use my gift card online but calling the store Lauren was over and above helpful in reserving the items until I visited the store soon after.
