I’ve been buying from diy shop in bromsgrove come here for the first time today and shocked at how much money I’ve saved! The prices are fantastic! And Shelley in the Stirchley store was so helpful! Thankyou

Decent place with most normal hardware available. Well organised events and helpful staff. Some staff are more helpful than others, Shelley is a powerhouse of knowledge of the store and always willing to help - thank you.

Such rude staff at Stirchley branch!
I called in today at 1.15 and was 'served' by a girl who didn't speak to me at all - she was too busy gabbling on to her colleague. She didn't look at us, didn't tell us how much the bill was, didn't say please or thankyou, and didn't give us a receipt. So much for customer service!!

Julie in Stirchley was fantastic helping me to design and order my new bathroom. I hope the next fitting phase of the works will be this pleasant experience as this was with Wicks. Thanks again Julie!

I visited Wickes Stirchley this morning (20/05/2025) to place orders for delivery and was served by a lady called Shelley. I have visited this store many times in the past over 7 years or so and been served by Shelley on a number of occasions. I didn’t know her name until today when I asked her. Every time I see Shelley in the store, she is always running up and down managing the shopfloor or helping customers - very diligent, helpful and responsible. The store is always well managed with a range of thousands of products to select. The services from Shelley, as well as from other staff are always pleasant - well deserve 5 stars!

Done a click and collect order at Stirchley branch, 3 50lt bag of compost, asked if someone could put them in the car for me as so heavy, Alice done it all for me, very helpful, Big thanks Alice.

First visit to Wickes Stirchley to get paint mixed. Staff were helpful and upbeat. Was quickly served by Joe - who took great care but also handled the process efficiently. I enjoyed a little chat as I waited. Great, friendly service.

Went to the store today to inquire about some bathroom paint the 2 lovely ladies at the checkout was so friendly and helpful will definately be coming back

I went to Wickes today to buy 30 bags of top soil all mentally prepared for some heavy lifting and got greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff who made sure I didn't have to lift a single finger in the end. A heroic and very sunshiny man called Neil went and fetched all bags for me and heaved them in my little car whilst being very attentive about weight distribution so I wouldn't end up doing a wheelie on the way home. Excellent service! Couldn't be happier!

Writing this review on behalf of my mum. She visited the Wickes Stirchley Store this morning. She was unsure about some of the items she needed but was given a lot of support by a colleague called Neil. He was exceptionally helpful and as my mum is a disabled customer he went above and beyond to help her and make sure that she was supported by taking the items to the car. It was exceptionally helpful and kind, not something she experiences in a lot of other shops so she was extremely happy with the service.

Couldn't find what I was looking for so asked for help. Sorted out immediately with a smile, fabulous thanks.

I'm very sad to have given this review as I've had 3 projects with Wickes
My kitchen doors are bubbling at bottom and I have got guarantee left.
After a rude representative and a very cold reply by Adam I would never go to Wickes again.
I was told today by Adam that the kitchen has been discontinued and they can not replace the door. Which is a clear lie and they are selling the bespoke sofia graphite range online
I spoke to rosy today in customer services and she sed he has got it wrong and go in to store for the door.
They clearly do not want to help and made an excuse to brush me off. I can't even get the graphite colour door from anywhere.
I would not waste my money and shop with wickes anymore. All the horror stories are true I'm afraid and do not waste your time or money with them
I will update this review if they do care to help or sort this mess out
Do not waste your money stay away
They have replied but no message has been sent on trust pilot. I have sent another email and will update accordingly.

Friendly professional staff very helpful. Got everything I needed in store. The two ladies on the till and the young lad was very helpful. Would definitely recommend the stirchley branch.Time 18.47 / 8/4/2025.

Went in today to look at kitchens as we have a home appt this week. A lovely lady Shelley helped us so much in answering all our questions and even gave us ideas and answered questions we didnt even have yet. Left the store today feeling less stressed about our kitchen reno and now looking forward to it.
