We booked a 3 hour appointment with Marie to design our new kitchen incorporating a media unit to match.
We found her extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the design also very friendly and helped us to achieve our goal. This was reassuring and gave us the confidence to buy our new kitchen from Wickes.

Our first visit to the store - spoke with 2 members of staff - both helpful- especially Mary who helped us open a trade pro account

Went to look at solar panels and needed further information we were in two minds as to benefits, we were helped by a delightful young man called Russell who was really helpful, we went home called the number he gave us and have just had the installation a credit to the company

The local design and installation team were helpful and thorough, spending the amount of time we needed to make a decision without feeling pressured and the three different installation teams we had to deal with three differnt jobs were all pleasant, helpful and excellent workman, even down to cleaning up after themselves wich really impressed us. Could not recommend them highly enough and would use them again.

Booked an appointment with Marie after a failed design from Homebase. Marie identified our needs and had already started planning our kitchen before we had got there. The design was great, and looked awesome. I was unsure of a few things and measurements so Marie came out and measured my room to double check everything. The paperwork provided explained everything including layouts part codes.
As I’m fitting the kitchen myself, I had questions, 100’s of them. Every question was answered, promptly and professionally. Nothing was too much trouble for Marie, she went above and beyond our expectations and is a real credit to the Torquay branch. It’s not often that you find employees in customer service jobs that come across like they truly care about your needs. I’m not talking about a 10+ grand kitchen here, it’s a simple modest design. The price was very competitive and the quality of the units look as good as I’ve found. Obviously not been delivered or fitted yet but I’m confident it will all be great.
Marie should be up for an award for the work she put in for my kitchen and putting up with me for a kitchen.

I never knew Wickes had opened a store in Torquay until I was driving past a few weeks ago. I popped in to have a look. I didn't really need anything, but walked away with some new tools and a few ideas for my spring garden refresh. I was served by Mary and I think a manger called Andy. Both were very knowledgable and friendly. Well done for back to basics simple shopping.

Friendly staff helped me find the right product for the job. A credit to the Wickes, would definitely recommend!

Thoroughly impressed by the excellent customer service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They went above and beyond to assist me, answering all my questions with patience and expertise. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to help made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this Wickes store for anyone looking for top-notch customer service. I have to make a special mention to Danni and Emily in the showroom, both are a real credit to the company.

Good car parking. Entering the store in a freezing cold morning, I was welcomed with a nice warm blast. As I browsed around the store I noticed it was still warm & comfortable & commented to a member of staff, how welcoming this was. The store is nice & bright, spotlessly clean & tidy and so well laid out without having to shuffle around anything. Everything is clearly marked & good stock. The staff are very friendly happy & helpful. Great shopping experience

I Went down to my local torquay store as I was having trouble ordering online. Couldn't believe how knowledgeable and helpful Connie and Emily were.

I purchased a kitchen in March 2024 from Wickes. Not only has it taken 8 months from commencement of installation to finally get it completed but they failed to fit the appliances I ordered. My survey prior to fitting confirmed everything could be fitted but the electrician felt it was too much work so said it could not be done. Wickes changed my appliances which has resulted in them installing a non fan assisted oven whilst I was away on holiday and are now disputing this fact. All I need to complete the job is for them to install a fan assisted oven. They have offered me £150 only for an inferior appliance and an 8 month delay in fitting as they could not provide me with a non damaged or correct size doors. I wait to hear what they will come up with next but I would not recommend!

Bought a shower trap that was reduced because the box was damaged and a co2 detector - Mary at Torquay was really helpful checking stock of wood flooring for me

Deliveries of my new kitchen were either not what I ordered or damaged and in two instances having taken time off to receive delivery nothing arrived. Customer services have refused to replace a damaged door even though I said I would accept a touch up pen or paint but they have refused.

Enjoyed my visit to the Torquay branch this morning. The staff were friendly and seemed really happy. The store itself was clean and tidy and on a cold frosty day, nice and warm. Will be back soon.

Had a brand new kitchen from Wickes just before Christmas.So impressed with the service from start to finish. Lorraine the kitchen planner & design lady was super efficient from helping us choose the correct units & worktops & making sure we were happy with everything we required. Also Jason & his team did a fantastic job doing the fitting.Everybody we dealt with at Wickes were so polite & so helpful . Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Well done everyone really professional.

Me and my partner were renovating our kitchen. We knew kind of what we wanted but unsure how it was going to look as we were knocking down a wall to open up our kitchen/diner. We got in touch with Wickes Torquay (our local branch) and within 24 hours a designer had contacted me to book us in. Rebecca Potter (Becky) came to measure up on a date that suited us best especially considering we work 7-5pm Monday - Friday so finding a time could have been difficult but Becky was able to fit us in for a convenient time. Straight away we knew we made the right choice. Becky was so understanding of what we wanted and even gave us ideas we would’ve never thought of but we absolutely love. She took into consideration everything we wanted and was so friendly. We were so happy with the first step. Becky booked us in straight away for our meeting to show us our designs. We went to the store and felt so looked after. Becky needed us and went through all the designs. She took us around the kitchens in the store which gave us so much inspiration. Becky was very understanding with my many, many questions and queries. She was very patient and was so in tune with what we wanted. She explained the process perfectly and made sure that everything was booked in for when we needed it to be as it all had to be on hold whilst we booked the builders in for the wall.

After we had put the deposit down on the kitchen I was contacted by Lisa who was again very patient with us considering that we had to change the delivery date multiple times due to the set back of the wall coming down. She kept us updated and anytime I had any questions both Lisa and Becky were very friendly and happy to help.

As we had decided to go with Wickes to also fit our kitchen for ease, Marc from Homefront then came over very soon after the deposit was put down and he just came to introduce himself and make sure we were happy with the the process so far and make sure everything would be in place for his fitter to come when the kitchen was delivered. From then until the kitchen was delivered was about 4-5 months and Becky, Marc and Lisa were always on the end of the phone if I had any questions or worries about anything and were absolutely brilliant.

We ran into our first and only hiccup when the kitchen was going to be delivered on a date when no one would be home as we both work in the day time. I rang up Wickes installation team straight away and a friendly man called Matthew listened to the issue as I hadn’t been told the new date for the delivery and was unsure if it was going to be delivered for the fitter to fit it all. Matthew, considering this call was last thing on a Friday, listened to my issue and put everything in place. He emailed me a confirmation that it should be delivered on the following Tuesday. He told me to call on Monday to make sure. On the Monday I called and they confirmed it was all booked in and would be delivered before the fitter would need it.

The kitchen was then delivered perfectly and the two men who delivered it were on time and very friendly. They made sure everything was there and was very thorough.

Scott, our fitter, then contacted me to again make sure everything was all good. Scott then came to fit the kitchen. He was very friendly and efficient. Again very detail oriented and made sure everything was done to how we wanted it. Scott had fitted the kitchen perfectly and we are very happy with our end product.

At every stage we felt very supported by the team at Wickes. We are so happy this is who we chose for our kitchen! Thank you :).
