So pleased with my new kitchen. We called into Wickes and had an appointment with Lyndsey Matthews, so helpful, professional and really listened to what we wanted and produced an amazing design that suited our needs. Delivery team were great and the installer John went above and beyond, what a credit to Wickes! Would definitely recommend

It was my first time visiting a Wickes store and I wasn't able to find the things I needed. Adam offered to help me as he walked past. He took me to what I needed and then helped me to my car. I will be coming back again.

Went in to wickes to buy 2.5l tin of dulux white non drip gloss, at £33 it was £8 more expensive then Home and Bargain over the road. That is a massive difference and they should hold their head in shame

Went to our local store in Widnes Dave was really helpful planted a bathroom we were really happy with so placed the order then the problems started the recommended installer came to survey didn’t have a clue what we were having done had no design pictures with him just a tape measure not even any paper to write anything down. He then gave us a price for the additional works which would be required and tried to charge us twice for the same thing so went to the store to advise we didn’t want him to install and good enough they changed our installer who we couldn’t fault who were BMS . Advised we wanted delivery of items the week before the installation due to storage space this didn’t happen I was given delivery dates for when I was in work and when I phoned to change they said they couldn’t and if I did they couldn’t guarantee delivery in time for the installation even though it was over 2 weeks away. After several calls the date was changed to suit. We went away for the dates when the installation was to take place but some deliveries were still due but the installer was happy to take delivery. The wrong shower tray was delivered and the correct one couldn’t be delivered in line with the installation so we had to transfer money to the installer to source one,the wrong toilet seat was delivered so another one was provided which fell off on the day after the installation was completed installer come back to refit but the same happened a few days later. I then received a call from Kieran 7th May advising they wanted to sign the project off but I wasn’t happy to as we hadn’t had our refund for the shower tray but agreed so our installers would be paid. Then 2 weeks later came into the kitchen and as I walked on the floor water was coming through wooden floor the installer came straight back and the stop valve had been leaking which had eventually seeped under the floor. Went to store to see what way we needed to go as didn’t really want to go through our home insurance as this was linked to the installation which was through Wickes was advised they would look into how we proceed and would call us back was also was told the toilet seat was from a faulty batch and a new one was on order. 4 weeks passes and nothing called the store a week ago and was advised we would get a call back Tuesday after the bank holiday and still nothing absolutely shocking so damaged floor and faulty parts and no help from Wickes at all.

(I’m going to leave two reviews as I’m extremely happy with the design and installation, very unhappy with the delivery and waste collection).
I’ve just had a bathroom fitted. Ben (the designer) did a great job, I have a lovely looking, well-designed, reasonably priced bathroom. Pawel installed it and he was fantastic. Such attention to detail and a really high finish. I couldn’t be happier with his work.
But the delivery was awful. They delivered wrong items, items were missing, it was a mess
Even worse is the waste collection. My contractors booked the waste collection for Tuesday 20 and I worked from home especially. Nothing happened, Hippo (waste collectors) didn’t turn up. Wickes customer service told me Hippo would definitely collect on Wednesday. They didn’t. Wickes told me Hippo would collect on Thursday. It’s now 15:37, I’ve been home all day waiting and nothing… (I need to be home to provide access).
My bathroom installation can’t finish until the waste has been removed from my courtyard garden. Wickes keep promising it will be collected but then nothing… The system is a mess and the customer doesn’t matter.

She has made the process streamlined and when I have needed kitchen advice, a late addition to the design, and a few extra bits to help with getting the fit sorted this was all handled efficiently ensuring everything remained on track. We've just had a new kitchen from Wickes fitted. We visited Wickes in January not looking to buy just for a looksee. We liked the design of the J pull handles. Had a talk with one of the staff - Ben Steelschambers who showed us the various kitchens available. Picked up the catalogues and went home. We compared with other suppliers and found Wickes to be our first choice with in our opinion the best quality.
After a while we decided to go ahead with a new kitchen. (Bearing in mind our old kitchen was 22 years old). Ben came to our home and designed a new kitchen for us. The finished design was what we wanted so he went back to the store to price the kitchen. A few days later we went into the store to see the design and get a price. Blimey, how much ££££££. We took advantage of interest free and bit the bullet and ordered our new kitchen. It wasn't cheap. But,the quality great. Now completed. The fitter - John Martleton was very good, just left on his own to do his thing. Gareth - the electrician and Neil the plasterer were also excellent. The build took a little longer than expected but well worth the wait. If you're having a kitchen replaced make sure everything is packed away. Now it's done we have to put everything back. Thanks everyone. Ben, John, Gareth and Neil. See you all again in 12 years.

I booked an in-store kitchen and bathroom design appointment via their website a week ahead of time, and received a very unprofessional call on the day of the appointment from David who couldn’t give me a straight answer on anything I asked and repeatedly told me he “might not make it back” in time for my appointment, but also didn’t tell me if he wanted to cancel or rearrange it. There was more to the conversation that I won’t repeat here, however I eventually said I wanted to cancel the appointment and he hung up on me without so much as a goodbye!
Sent a detailed complaint to Wickes and was sent a very copy-and-paste reply which was disappointing.
Would not use Wickes Widnes again.

Lyndsey Mathews was my design consultant, who was extremely supportive & helpful, she showed interest and help me choose certain items. I found the overall cost excellent value for money.
Pawel & his son fitted my bathroom to an exceptional standard, they both worked long hours and worked hard. Pawel keen eye for detail is so impressive.
I have very high standards & my bathroom now completed has exceeded my expectation.

We reached out to Wickes at the end of last year to help support our small community centre, and we were generously gifted paint, rollers, brushes, tape, sheets, and other bits to help renovate the space ready for the new year. Lindsey was so helpful and all the staff who assisted us when we came to collect the donation went above and beyond to help. Ordered a complete shower in store with Dave Francis. He was extremely patient and talked us through all the whole process clearly and precisely. Clearly explained the options available for each element of the install, without any pressure, often going for cheaper options which he felt were the best result. Showed us the items in situ in store and again went for cheaper options that he felt suited the install.

Following my visits to several kitchen stores I discussed my requirements with Lyndsey Matthews at Wickes Widnes.She was friendly, helpful and discussed a range of possibilities for my new kitchen. It was most helpful to see the range in store so I could compare styles and select units that would fit my requirements. Lyndsey led me through this process answering my questions fully. Flooring and wall tiles were viewed against the units I selected so a complete picture was formed. Lyndsey was knowledgeable and professional throughout the design process. She covered all aspects of the installation in store and during the home visit. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others. I hope the install of the new kitchen goes as well.
