A ongoing disappointment

Wizards had continued to show me that it no longer cares about it's customers. How can a company that can print cardboard into oblivion run out of stock on a product. How can a company fail to listen to the players, but instead caters to scalpers and up charging cardboard...I have been a loyal player for years and now I can say it's time to start using proxies for everything. I tried to spend $199.00 for the Final Fantasy English Print Run Secret Lair. I placed my item in the cart and went to checkout immediately upon the website loading during the first 3 minutes of the launch period. I Waited in queue for 5 hours, just to be kicked out by a bot and the website to say they no longer had any of the product in stock. I am disappointed and will not let this go. This is ridiculous Wizards. I will not stop until you make this right!

Dog shit company and dogshit site that caters to scalper. the bots get in and buy up all the stock for anything remotely desirable to purchase while the populace has to sit in ques for a chance to maybe get something or maybe you get disconnected and find yourself at the back of a que again

Just awful

Leader in incompetent customer service and misleading products.
Company worthy of being in a showcase of how to make your customer hate you.

Absolute dumpster fire

I'd give them no stars if that was possible.

Their customer service is garbage which seems due to understaffing as the replies I do get, when I get them, are kind and helpful.

I've been waiting to get a replacement for a missing pack from a Commander deck for over 5 months and I'm sure it'll take much longer.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Ordered the DnD 2024 player handbook. It was very poorly packed and arrived badly damaged. To their credit, customer service replied within 24 hours to say their product replacement team would sort it. But after that, complete radio silence. I read online it can be months before they do, and there's no other way to contact them.

Non existent customer service

Non existent customer service, no regards for their customers. And they try to trick you to drop any cases that you bring against them via PayPal.
Bought some books for my son who has ASD the books arrived damaged as the parcel had been crushed in transit, some quite bad marks on the book spines. Contacted customer services and got ignored so I opened a PayPal case for not as described Scalefast then apologised and said that they would send out replacement books, without needing to send back the damaged books, however they would like me to close the PayPal case, well stupid me thought that these guys were trustworthy so I closed it and I have never heard anything since from them,I am currently getting ignored from customer services. I am now trying another route via PayPal as my original purchase was for both the digital and physical copies of the books, which means up to now all I have received is the digital items,as of writing this review I am still waiting for good quality physical books. Terrible firm to deal with, zero customer service,no regards for their customer base, I would recommend others to avoid this firm where possible

This company does not care about the costumers, just about the $$$

I bought a superdrop secret lair x marvel, and as every other sale of secret lair, I was ready to buy just about the very second it went online. In this one just like others, there was a promo given for every 220€ spent.
After check out, right before the payment, the promo was on my cart. And seconds after, I paid, and then on my invoice it wasn't. How is this possible?

It is in the terms and conditions:

"

Qualified orders will include an appropriate amount of Arcane Signet promo cards added as a line item to the order before proceeding to the shipping details step of the checkout process.
This line item will also appear on the order confirmation and invoice email. You can view your order information here, for orders placed while logged in.
"

The promo was "added as a line item to the order before proceeding to the shipping details step of the checkout process", and the second after I paid, and then in the invoice it IS NOT there.

I paid for all the items in the list of check out and the invoice don't have all the items that were there.

I don't have a proof for this because I never thought that I need to do a print screen every step on your webstite now. Because now every sale equals problems. There were problems during the line sale, I was 30minutes in hold in the line, 2h30min total in the line, and then there were people who found a way to cheat the line and also to cheat on the number of SLs they could buy (19 to be exact), and also on the number of promos.

I already contacted wizards and their response is always something like "We apologize for the inconvenience but thank you for your understanding in this matter."

Gone downhill unfortunately

Good companies don't stuff around their customers. When switching Secret Lair to limited print, it was stated that product would be printed to match expected demand. This has not happened, and recent comments by the CEO have proven it was a lie. A lot of people wasted a lot of time trying to get one of the Marvel Secret Lairs. This is just the latest example of money grubbing in recent years. I think I'll save my time and money and stop buying new product.

Disgusting

An update:
WoC CC contacted me after more han a month and asked if the case was solved. What an honor for me!!!

Original review:
Disgusting. Ordered a Magic The Gathering 4-commander packs bundle on Amazon. Got 1 out of 4. Wanted to get the other 3. Amazon answered instantly and suggested contacting WotC. I contacted them and got ignored for 3 days. Came back to Amazon, and received a refund. That's it.

WotC customer support is non-existent. The products are nice, but hope you won't have any issues with their products, because if you will, their support won't help you.

The product name on Amazon is "Magic: The Gathering Duskmourn: House of Horror Commander Deck Bundle - Includes All 4 Decks"
Check the reviews for this product for more info on the case.

Your managment gave me diarreha

You are litterally one of the most disgusting company i've ever met, your ban look random AF, wasting lots of players money, with arena you reach the peak, litterally played tons of game (like 100) for testing with decks with 190 lands and 12 sorcery and istant, most of the time i got anyway instant and sorcery in my starting hand withoud even mulligan a single time, how can this be possible? I got a mono black with 20 faken creature destroying istant or sorcery and most of the game i find a total of 2 in 6/7 turn, same for mono red and every other decks i ve ever made, the shuffle is :
1 rigged af but you cannot admit it.
2 done with the ass, nice job for a multibilionair company.
Magic was the best game to play, but thanks to you idiot, unable to mange this fabric of gold the only things that remains are memories of when WOT wasn t a money draining faken vampire but a fair company giving good entertainment for a fair price. I wish soon ppl will open theire eyes and you will go bankrupt, you dont deserve to handle the best card game ever created.

Awful IRL, awful online. Classic Corporation

I've been collecting cards and playing arena for a collective 15 years and this greedy Corp never ceases to amaze and infuriate me at the same time with their selfish behavior and awful user experience. In paper forget about it. Anyone buying in paper is just foolish. But their mobile game is so awful. It often takes hours to play a single match and the server is very unreliable and slow. So is the queue, animations nobody likes that guzzle time and move at a painstakingly slow rate. Just now and it's gotta be the 1000th time (that's a conservative estimate) I was having a tedious but fine game in their format brawl and my screen just becomes unresponsive. Now it's not the phone because this phone never ever does that. And I mean never. As further proof when I close the app clear it from ram and reopen it, the game reconnects me to the match but takes a few minutes to do so. By that time my time bars have mostly run out. Then just 5 seconds later again! Completely unresponsive and no indicator. Nothing saying you were disconnected from the server or we are having technical difficulties. Nothing. So I do the same thing and by the time it's recconected me to the match I've been turn skipped automatically and been forced to discard to maximum hand size because I didn't get to take my turn. I think banging your head against a wall is likely more fun than this horrible game. They should rename themselves Gizzards of the Cost.

I never got a physical copy of my order. I have been back and forth with the company to get this missing book that they aparently resent. My information is correct and could not be more clear even after contacting and confirming a second time. I have had such issues and still never received it after whats been over a YEAR since my original purchase. I got the digital obviously just the physical product never came. STILL WAITING. Just emailed them again I just want a refund at this point.
Very disappointed.
