Nuubu / Ekomilta Scam

My previous review was removed. Perhaps too much detail I don't know. Try placing an order with these people and then try to cancel because you realize you made a mistake or you have read other reviews about their products. No way of cancelling even if you do this with in an hour of placing the order. That has cost me £48 and I wonder how long before i get this superfast shipped dely from Vilnius. Even their emails come into spam folders, should tell you something. Now is this review ok Trustpilot?

I want Nuubu to know about this not Wizards of the coast.

Morally bankrupt company

A company who puts their profits above moral and ethical values is utter garbage. That alone will tell you everything you need to know about their products, from movies to toys, all lack progressive values and therefore should be turned down by the consumers.

Used to be a good company.

Where to begin? Let's start with Magic Arena. It's a visually pleasant game. Playing it is at best frustrating. The rules don't match the rules of paper Magic. Banned cards are allowed to be used. The CPU Sparky is about as dim as it gets. Honestly feel sorry for the voice actress that out her voice to such a stupid AI. The community is uninspired to build their own decks. It's 99% netdeckers. So, if you don't want to get matched against the exact same deck 40+ times in a day, don't play this game. The company only uses scripted responses when you send them any sort of feedback, or report a problem with any of their products. There's no follow through with punishment for violating rules. Hasbro, the company that now owns WotC, doesn't care at all about the customer. They just want your money. Shameful.

MTGA: broken game and can't even tell WOTC about it

MTGA: 1 out of 3 games has a mechanic that doesn't trigger correctly or, worst case, I can't play a single card and play moves to my opponent.

Reporting these issues is a headache (the process isn't easy) and the reporting portal often breaks anyway! Sort your life out WOTC.

I've been playing magic and d&d since 93 and I've always enjoyed them greatly. They are willing to replace damaged product (which happen sometimes due to defects) and thats great. Only criticism i have they should change the etched foil from the whole card to select parts of image and border only. You're welcome for the great idea, you can keep that one! Love you guys!

Fantastic care and attention

So my box of 'betrayal at house on the hill' was missing two cards (great game for small groups btw). I contacted them about this and the replies couldn't have been quicker, friendlier or more helpful. This really made up for the missing cards. They were so helpful and sent it so quickly despite them having had issues with their local courier services. (US to UK delivery). I wish there was this level of customer care in other companies and industries!

So Youtubers get two each and my country gets none

I have been running a ravenloft styled campaign for awhile now and been playing d and d more then half my life. With the new book coming out " Van Richtens guid to Ravenloft" I was super excited and the best part was it was going to be released on my birthday.
Needless to say I was over the moon. So reserved a copy at the game store closest to me.
Made the Journey in and no copies. In fact no copies in my country.
Yet I seen that alot of YouTube's got two free copies about a week ago. Really disappointed with this.
Really shows a lack of care for players time.
Glad youtubes can get review copies but the should never be put before the customer

I was playing tournement in MTG Arena

I was playing tournement in MTG Arena. 2. day i was 6-1 and need one more win to get $2000. In my 1. game of best out of 3. I had a sure win, but then it crash. I have the chance to play a new opponent, but he had a crazy deck and I lost 0-2. So i won money, but it felt I was roped for $1000. Wizard got my log and compensated. My respons to them.

“Great service is when you get more than you expekt. I am greatfull, that you compensate for my frustrating experience. I realy respect that! I am one happy Magic player now”

Worst e-commerce experience. Nevermore

I bought a Secret Drop, paid in advance on feb 17 and had the confirmation of my order dispatched on feb 23rd. The same day the shipping was canceled apparently for a sorting error. 18 days and 10 e-mail later, my order is still in Stand-By, no shipping but also, what's worst, no communication at all. An incredible sequela of lies and omissions and overall one of, if not 'the' worst e-commerce experience of my life.

RIP MtG

Magic the Gathering used to be an awesome game, developed by awesome people. In the past two years however the company‘s mismanagement of and false focus on the game have wrecked the game beyond repair.
It has been pointed out before that the game is very expensive. The same way game design quality has declined product prices have skyrocketed. Stay away from this nonsense. Runeterra, Hearthstone, L5R etc may not always provide the same versatility and/or depth, but are better managed games in pretty much all ways imaginable.
If you loved the game, remember how it used to be. But let it rest in peace.

FIRE design and greed broke MtG

I have been a customer for over 20 years. The game has developed in many ways during that time. Some of it was good, other things were to be improved. It was always worth it staying with the game though, as the game environments in terms of card pools were mostly well balanced considering the complexity and number of possible interactions.

In recent years however MtG has been „pushed“ (M. Rosewater) mainly by overpowering cards and cutting supply of cards with high secondary Market value. Then these cards are used to sell overpriced products, effectively making MtG a split-society game where you pay to win a lot more than in the past. In doing so WotC pretty openly admits to take the secondary market into account through their actions.

That aside the game has been caught up in political agenda and ideology. Now it basically is focused on loud and angry minorities, spreading a lot of hate. In doing so they seem to neglect card design and customer contact. The company seems completely out of touch.

The bad card design seems linked to a change in the game design department. Apparently playtesting is not done anymore in the new „FIRE“ system (Frequently Irritating and Rotten Experience).

Its disappointing, but I‘ll move on from this. The price of a booster display is enough for a good second-hand console/pc game and some really fancy dinner. Or a trip to an amusement park. Or a nice gift for a loved one. Or, or, or...
And from none of those things you get several hundred mostly value-free and useless cardboard rectangles plus the one good and broken card you may pull, but won‘t be able to use for long as they keep banning cards as soon as they served their purpose in selling those boxes.
Save your money. Even Lego is cheaper.

Some great product lines witch made my youth great. Indeed people are right about the price being a bit over the top on some stuff and that prevents me from offering that 5th star. Yet the nostalgia is so much, i can't give it just 3 stars can i?

Amazing product at a cost!

Amazing product at a cost!

WotC have been delivering awesome products over the years, MTG and DnD hold a special place in my heart, yet they sometimes tend to forget about their consumers and over-price some items (Masters25/Comander18 i'm looking at you! - For the Masters25 the selection of cards was also really bad). It is a bit sad things are this way as the product in itself tends to be great.

I love Dungeons and Dragons!

I love Dungeons and Dragons, it lets me keep in touch with my nerdy friends and family members! Not much is needed to start a campaign and if I do need something its easy to find even in local stores, but mostly I use the online tools which are also amazing!

The best support I've ever had!

Long story short, after one of the Dragons Lair-stores didn't care about their agreement about events nor costumers, and treated us horribly (literally lied to the costumers and also indicated we were stupid, lying and I know what not), I contacted Wizards in hopes of getting a Magic starter deck as I was promised in the store. I know Wizards aren't obligated to make up for Dragon Lairs mistakes, but even then I was met with the most understanding and apoligizing guy. To compensate for this horrible trip, he sent us not one, but two starter decks, including a personal, handwritten apology. Never have I experienced better service, this really made my week :-) Thank you Tom!
