Three years in and still love my Yark bed

I bought a Yark bed at the peak of the pandemic in 2021. After lots of research I decided to go with Yark. This is completely an independent review from a happy satisfied customer.

Delivery was a bit shaky because of the social distancing rules and I had to self assemble. Once I managed to get all the pieces including the huge headboard up the first floor I began the assembly process. I was a bit skeptical and worried I would be left on my own once I got stuck. Nonetheless I was wrong they had me on a video call soon enough guiding me through the assembly process until my new ottoman bed was set up and I have never been so satisfied with a product.
Two years later I had to move, I reached out to the team about dismantling and reassembling and they also gave me the go ahead and if anything went wrong I were to let them know. Everything went smoothly and the bed is still going strong almost three years now. The quality of the items used for this bed is great and sturdy, nothing feels cheap about it.

Such a personalized business like you belong a family, you don’t get the feeling of mass produced and you are nothing but a number.

Definitely would recommend blindly, it’s 2024 and I still have absolutely no complaints.

Sold a bed without the bottom even with…

Sold a bed without the bottom even with their advertising that nothing will touch the bottom. Have chased and have been fobbed off continuously. Also sold a mattress not fit for purpose and was told to get in contact if not moulded after a few months - which I did and they just ghost you! The worst customer service

Extremely happy and satisfied

Extremely happy and satisfied with Yarkbeds. The whole process has been so smooth and absolutely love my super king size bed. Yark beds were professional from the beginning and stuck to delivery times etc, perfectly. Customer service is excellent. We ended up putting the bed together ourselves and instructions were very easy to follow. I swapped my previous bed for a super king size Warwick bed from Yark beds and I am beyond joyed with the quality and strength of the bed. It’s an ottoman bed so lots of storage space underneath. Wish I could have added pictures here. I’ve had so many compliments from friends and family, very sure many will be putting an order in. For the price of the bed the quality is phenomenal…my previous bed was a double from bensons for beds and was near the same price point of Yark beds super king. Unfortunately, I had issues with my previous bed and decided for a change. I am so glad I decided to take the leap and order from Yark beds. Will definitely be ordering again for my girls !

Do not buy

Our ottoman bed is only 1.5 years old and is bowing in the middle, and coming here I can see we aren’t the only ones. Getting no response from Yark, I came here and noticed the change of ownership. I note that the ‘new owners’ claim to have only “purchased the domain” from Nack Ltd. and say that Nack Ltd. is liable. However Yarks own website advises “ In a momentous event on the 24th of November 2022, Yarkbeds.com joined the Duke Brothers family through a strategic acquisition. This partnership allowed us to scale our operations and broaden our horizons, bringing our superior quality beds to discerning customers across Europe, courtesy of the extensive network established by Duke Brothers Ltd.” You can also see on LinkedIn that Marcus, one of the ‘founders’ of Yark still works there. Digging further Nack Ltd. on companies house has 0 employees. Seems like they didn’t only purchase the domain name?! Duke Brothers Director Mr Nawaz calls himself the “millionaires mentor” and hilariously has numerous articles on how to not upset customers and provide good service, would be good to see this starting at home. It seems there is a lack of transparency here and if Nack Brothers is truly still trading and liable for the issues myself and many others have, Duke Brothers should be handing out contact information. However, I suspect that in this strategic acquisition/partnership Duke Brothers has some responsibility to those of us that have been sold faulty products under the Yark name.

I just want a functioning bed

Our ottoman bed is bowing in the middle meaning my partner and I are rolling into eachother. For almost £500 I do not expect this. I have asked for support and nothing suggested worked and now upon asking again I am told the company have been bought out by someone else and they do not have contact for the old people. The new people will not take responsibility for the bed which isn't even a year old. I cannot believe I have a broken bed and have wasted so much money.
To make matters worse we are both disabled and this is exacerbating both of our conditions.

I bought a king size bed from yark…

I bought a king size bed from yark around a year ago. When it arrived there was a big gap between the end of the mattress and the bed frame (the bed frame is too large for the mattress basically). This causes my head to fall into the gap between the mattress and the headboard which leaves me with sore shoulders.
Despite seeing another reviewer mention this, I hoped I just had smaller king size mattress. However I've just replaced my mattress hoping to solve the problem and the gap is even larger. Please read other reviews before buying, I'm really disappointed with this and not sure how to solve the problem without buying a new bed frame.

Fraud warning!

Hi _ I purchased a bed on the the Yark website in October 25th. The company contacted me saying that they did not have stock and I would be refunded.

I called in today to check on my refund and was told that the company/website now belongs to a new owner operating the same name and website and I should call my bank for a fraud dispute!

This is so sketchy! .

THE RESPONSE BELOW IS A WASTE OF TIME - UPON CALLING THEY DEFER YOU TO THE BANK AGAIN!!!

Be careful.

My better half put the bed and…

My better half put the bed and headboard together in an hour without my assistance, no complaints so far. Been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks now and the only "issue" is that the bed is so comfy that I don’t want to get up in the mornings.

Ordered a double bed in the sale

Ordered a double bed in the sale. Arrived quickly with no issue, however, on preparing to build the bed found 70% of the items to be missing! Contacted Yark and was told missing parts would be sent out, over two weeks later we’ve received nothing. Attempted to email twice in a week and still heard nothing. No phone number to actually speak to someone and I assume no one monitoring emails. Now have a useless bed frame that cannot be built and £200 out of pocket!!
We had bought a bed from them earlier in the year which bent in the middle within the first night. However this was rectified within the same week no concerns.
Do not recommend this company.

Bed has broken twice in 4 months

I ordered an ottoman bed on 30th July and received it 2nd or 3rd August, so for speedy delivery I cannot fault them. We attempted to put it together with quite poor instructions (we had parts on our list that we didn’t receive and turns out we didn’t need them as the design had changed) Customer service was a little slow at this point but it was resolved ultimately and we were happy with the bed. The headboard seems very good quality and looks and feels a lot more expensive than it was. However towards the end of September (less than 2 months after we finally got our bed assembled) the slate frame broke and dipped in the middle. Certainly not the quality we expected and trying to get a resolution from them felt like a full time job. Why don’t they have a customer service phone number? It was all a major inconvenience to have a bed that we couldn’t sleep on for around 2 weeks. Eventually a new frame was sent out but our broken frame couldn’t be collected. What are we supposed to do with a king size bed frame?? Well now another 2 months has passed and the same thing has happened, again a very poor quality slat frame. We have asked for a full refund because we just can’t keep dealing with this and are now awaiting a response. Posting our experience on here to inform others before they buy and also because it seems this is the only way to get a somewhat speedy response from them? So yark, please can we get this dealt with asap?

The bed has not been delivered in the…

The bed has not been delivered in the timely manner. I have been informed about the delay Which was not an issue however response from Yark isn't accurate

As a customer I am fully entitled to email 1-200 times so pointing out that there were 20 emails is wrong especially due to the fact that so many emails were exchanged in the first place as I have ordered my bed for December delivery and you then adviced me that I cannot push it this far and must be deliver in a week time . Due to the fact that I had no place to put my mattrass I amended to order to a bed only - no mattrass. I also consulted with you if you have or will have king-size bed to which you said - no as it is end of sale - funny king size beds were made available later and I was not able to exchange

As I stated my bed has a warranty and my email had been blocked which I find really wrong . At the end of the day I am a consumer and I have rights to write accurate reviews. I am happy to screenshot a reply I had from your advisors to my email to show the level of harrasement

Had a terrible experience with Yark…

Had a terrible experience with Yark beds this weekend. It is impossible to complain or get a resolution as no one responds to any contact forum. The customer service representatives whilst polite can do nothing and fob you off continually.

Bed was not delivered, no correspondence and terrible service there after. I do not recommend using them at all!

Poor customer service

Terrible experience and no follow up Customer Service. I wish I had taken more notice of the high volume of poor customer reviews before ordering my bed. Admittedly the bed was delivered on time and the delivery crew were great, however, after three hours of trying to assemble the bed using the totally inadequate assembly instructions I realised I had been delivered the wrong parts. I contacted Yark who acknowledged their mistake and stated replacement parts would be delivered in the next two weeks. Five weeks on from delivery and despite chasing regularly Yark are now ignoring my emails, and I am no further forward with the replacement parts needed. I am resigned to claiming a refund through my credit card as I have no other way of contacting Yark and have lost confidence in their ability to resolve my issue.

Avoid at all costs

I bought a bed from Yark in April, expecting it to arrive within 48 hours, as per the advertisement plastered over their website. After a week, I called up to see where my bed was and was informed that they didn't have the headboard in stock. They informed me that it could take up to 3-4 weeks before they would have it again. They agreed to send the bed frame now, and follow up with the headboard when available. We're now well in to September and I've still not received it.
Whilst I appreciate supplier issues are out of their hands to an extend, there's been absolutely no attempt to find a solution. I must have called up 20-30 times in recent weeks. The only number available trips through to a reception team who apparently have no way of passing you through to the relevant team. Each time, they take details and say that they will ask someone to call me back. It never happens. I've had one call back in the last few months, which ended with them telling me that they would speak to their manager and call me back later that day. That was 3 weeks ago and still no call back, despite 7-8 chaser calls.
On top of all of this, the bed that I ordered which they haven't had in stock for 6 months is still available on their website to purchase, with the 48 hour delivery promise still showing.

I have been trying to get a manager or…

I have been trying to get a manager or someone from Yark to call me since May as my bed is faulty, dipping through the middle! I bought a brand new mattress from Loaf, I thought my mattress was faulty, Loaf sent me a brand new mattress, amazing customer svs from Loaf. But it’s not the loaf mattress it’s the Yark bed which is faulty and dipping in the middle of the slats which are not supportive enough?! I have no idea. I have lower back issues now due to the dip in middle. Please can someone from Yark call me to help, I really would like help now as it’s become so stressful. Who can I speak with direct at Yark? I really wish I had read the reviews on…

I really wish I had read the reviews on here before I ordered from this company because alot of what others are saying resonates with my experience, they attempted to send me a damaged headboard (with the bed) fortunately the delivery driver rang me on the day and advised me off the damaged item and told me he would return it to Yark instead of delivering it to me. Yark never bothered to get in touch with me so I chased them and eventually they responded informing me that they were blaming the delivery company for the damaged headboard and when I had to chase them again for redelivery of the item they told me they no longer had the headboard I wanted but I could choose an alternative... by this point I realised I couldn't deal with this company any longer so I asked for a refund, we are 3 weeks on and I am still waiting for this refund despite promises of a refund over 2 weeks ago. I am now going to have to ask my bank to dispute the payment as I keep getting false promises from this company. Defo a cowboy company and avoid at all cost !

The bed is very nice,solid good quality…

The bed is very nice,solid good quality materials and looks very nice in the bedroom . Delivery was very good and on time . The only downside is the instructions they are not clear and the video is also not detailed enough. We spend way too long putting it together as had to undo things as the pictures and instructions were not clear
