This is my third yark bed purchase
This is my third yark bed purchase. It’s brilliant to see lots of different colours added since I bought my first. Can’t recommend enough, quality is really good and depending on what you are looking for, the prices are very good for the quality you get. Husband did find the first bed a challenge to construct but I’m aware they have since created a video to support.

Just finished constructing the bed
delivery was fine although it didn't get delivered to a room of our choice. Make sure that you check the measurements of where the bed is going, we had to unpack everything and were within millimetres of the massive headboard not going where it needed to. The parts are quite heavy. Having finished constructing the bed, be under no illusions, it definitely took two people a couple of hours. The instructions weren't great. They didn't seem to correspond with the 6 minute video that was emailed, things were a little bit vague and the images used on the paper instructions were really poor quality so that didn't help. Yark, this is a really easy fix and would clearly help with avoiding some of the reviews I've seen. On the plus side, it's all together and it seems really solid. The midnight blue is lovely. The mattress is on, the ottoman's working well. Hopefully it'll be good for many years to come.

Since we see only high graded material for the bases and headboards of our beds, the parts do have a great healthy weight to them so you know you're getting great quality parts.
A small price to pay for a lost lasting quality bed am-I-right?
The paper instructions are soon getting a revamp but coupled with the video it helps our visual learners have an easier time getting the assembly done.
We also couldn't agree with you more on the Midnight Blue Velvet, really is a perfect colour for any room!

The bed itself is great but...
The bed itself is great but the delivery and build instructions were shocking.
When I ordered it said delivered to a room of your choice, great as my husband has a back problem awaiting surgery and can't lift things, however 2 days before I was told that "because of covid" they would drop it at the door, I contacted Yark who said they would speak to the courier, they arrived and were not happy with this, eventually they did carry it in for me but only after repeatedly complaining about how heavy it was. there is no way I could have got it up the stairs as it came, it should have come in more boxes, making it easier to manoeuvre.
Then the instructions, the video had no close ups or voiceover so you were having to read subtitles and look at the parts, the printed copy was a photocopy of a photocopy and none of the images were visible and quite a few of the stages didn't make much sense. If they had been clearer I think we could have done the job in half the time.

As mentioned in our previous email we have to abide by the restrictions that our carrier currently imposes on drivers but we always ask them directly to ensure every order is delivered to the room of their choosing.
Luckily with the combination of both video and paper instructions, it does help many customers have an easier time assembling their bed but we understand there could be areas that can be improved upon.

Absolutely GORGEOUS bed
Absolutely GORGEOUS bed! We went for the ottoman, scroll headboard in blue.
So well made and solid. It looks beautiful. None of this flimsy rubbish when the bed moves if you breathe!
Makes no noise once moving in bed too, so really helps with a sound sleep.
I’m a single woman who is useless at DIY. It took me 3hrs to build it which I’d say is a success 😂

Easy delivery, contacted by driver to confirm time. Dropped off in room of choice.
Assembly takes a while but is a solid bed.

Great all round experience!!
I had a v good experience with Yark. To begin, communication after placing the order was excellent, receiving regular updates. Delivery was v quick - just under 48 hours from placing order.
What I was impressed most with was the quality of the bed and how carefully it had been packaged. I got the midnight blue velvet which is very soft and feels and looks high quality. The bed is actually much more substantial / robust than expected (and heavy, so it’s good the delivery men brought it to the bedroom). You get a lot for the price.
To summarise, the process and experience couldn’t have been smoother - would recommend!

Very good quality and pretty, poor manual
Very good quality and pretty bed frame, and a very smooth delivery process. I have to take one star away though for the instructions which were confusing and did not match the instructions in the video instructions - some steps were badly printed and filmed from an awkward angle, so I didn't know exactly what to do. And the fact that the ottoman headboard doesn't have some holes pre-drilled is an unwelcome surprise too for someone who just moved and does not own a drill!

We are slowly moving away from paper instructions and are looking to double down and improving the video instructions as we’ve got amazing feedback from reviews on that. It’s just one way how we’re always improving our products and services to ensure the assembly for the customer is easy to follow and quick to put together.
We pre-drill holes on all the areas besides the middle section for the ottoman base. To help make assembly easier without a drill, our factory made the wood soft enough where you can screw it in with any standard screwdriver but study enough where it keeps the centre support beam securely in place.
You can also assemble the bed using the alan key that’s included, a screwdriver or drill – whichever tickles your fancy.
Our production team are also looking into ways in improving the assembly experience so feedback like this is extremely helpful!
