Beautiful sturdy bed. We went for the superking ottoman with a tall button headboard in forest green and honestly it's just stunning. My partner is the first to critique but he has no complaints. My only gripe would be that some of the build instructions could be simpler, we struggled with the centre support for the base boards, but we managed and it looks great. Super comfy!

Really nice bed, good quality and lovely fabric. Feels really sturdy! Delivery was quick and efficient (came within 2 days and was given lots of warning from the courier).

However..
Poor instructions on the paper - looks like someone took the photos in the dark about 40 years ago.

Not sure why all this effort is put into online marketing and social media if you then provide some poorly numbered blurry photos on about 15 A4 pages.

Surely just print a few decent instructions on a little booklet?

The online video is good but at times it jumps or skips steps so you have to watch it a few times to make sure you do it correctly and even then it appears far easier in the video.

Eg. the part where he lifts the whole bed with 1 hand and puts the feet on? Wait till you try that..

Don’t try it by yourself, some parts are really heavy and hard to fit even with two people. The lack of holes in the headboard on the ottoman bed is really disappointing! Didn’t feel right drilling through the beautiful fabric so just felt a bit like cost cutting by not including an extra few holes.

Took us about 4 hours and we’re both fairly used to DIY but this was a real challenge.

The look of the bed is lovely and we expected. I love the green velvet
However the assembly instructions are a complete joke. So unhelpful and not easy. The idea you can assemble without a drill is a complete lie - thank god we got one
we ordered the otttoman base and it requires you to drill into your new bed without any holes or real guidance from the instructions including the online video. Just not good enough. If the holes for this had been their I’d score higher.

Solid company!

Having looked for a bed for a couple of months we finally decided to go with a Yark bed. We ordered fabric samples first to check which colour we liked best. The samples are free and arrived quickly. We ordered an ottoman bed with a tall buttoned headboard in slate grey velvet. I ordered Monday and picked Thursday the same week as my delivery day.
Communication was good via text and email. I had a delivery query and emailed in the evening and got a reply next morning. I got a time slot for delivery the day before and then a phone call an hour before the bed arrived. Unfortunately the delivery drivers still won’t bring your bed inside the house it’s doorstep only. This is still due to covid but l think some delivery companies are taking advantage of this now as it’s a lot quicker not to come inside. The headboard is very heavy so you do need two people to get it upstairs. We unpacked the sides of the bed and took them up individually.The metal base is also heavy. Everything was well packaged and arrived safely.
As has been said the written instructions are not the best but we followed the online video. Just watch it a few times. There are also other online bed videos which can be helpful as most beds are similar to put up. The Yark video is a bit too fast in places.
My husband is a competent at diy and he put the bed together in about 2 hours He used a drill to insert all the screws. You could screw by hand but it would take a lot longer. It’s good to have 2 people put the metal base onto the bed. With the ottoman base you have to drill the headboard yourself for the central support but it was fairly straightforward. Yark say you don’t need a drill but it would definitely be a struggle without one, borrow one if you don’t have one.
When it is built the bed looks great. It looks better in reality than the online photos. It’s beautifully made and looks expensive. The headboard is really thick and padded. It’s a real statement headboard lovely and tall. The back of the bed is covered with velvet which is a nice touch not seen on any other beds we viewed. The sides are nice and thick too, well padded fully fabric covered. The ottoman base is simple to lift up and there’s lots of storage space. It stays up until you put it down again. Everything feels sturdy and well made. The bed slats are sprung. The velvet material we chose is soft, thick and good quality. I was worried the bed might be a bit low but it isn’t.
The bed is exactly what we wanted a luxurious looking statement bed. Our size and colour bed was on offer when we purchased it which made it about half the price of similar beds we had looked at from Barker and Stonehouse and Furniture Village. You can pay more for a headboard than we paid for our whole bed. The build quality and fabrics were equal to those competitors l would say. Delivery is also free with Yark, it isn’t with most furniture retailers.
We are delighted with the bed and would definitely recommend Yark beds.

We had a great experience with Yark after being let down by Made. Our bed was delivered 48hrs after ordering it, we were given a time slot on the day and called half hour before delivery. The bed was easier to put together, we did need a bit of assistance but the team at Yark were super helpful and responded really quickly. We loved designing our bed and love sleeping on it! Would definitely recommend

Good quality beds. Delivered on time. Only improvement I would suggest is better instructions to help putting bed up.

My wife ordered a bed specifically to be delivered on the 23rd of July. It came a day early on the 22nd without the 4 drawers for the base. It has taken until today (7th August) for any drawers to be delivered - we received 2 of the 4 with no instructions, a bag of wheels and absolutely no way of attaching them.

The instructions provided for the bed are borderline useless, a few printed pieces of A4 paper, at least one page of which is just an embarrassing attempt at corporate "banter". Customer service is practically non-existent, if you do manage to talk to somebody they will just offer you false promises of redelivery or refunds which will not be fulfilled.

It is a shame as I want to support up-and-coming companies like this, but our experience has been so bad that it makes you question if you're being scammed. I guess this is what happens when a company puts all their resource into targeted social media advertising and painful attempts at "engagement" without having a proper business model or end product.

If we can ever actually speak to somebody who works for Yark we will try to get a refund and will buy a bed from a proper company. I don't hold out a lot of hope for that happening at this stage, though. Avoid at all costs.

This is the second bed we've bought from Yark. The bed is great but the written instructions are still rubbish why cant someone at Yark take some decent photos and write some decent instructions. Rs Steve yes I agree the video instructions are very good but on the day we erected the bed our wi fi wasn't at it's best. At 71 I'm not at my best with computer technology ha ha. Rs Steve

I decided to purchase an ottoman bed from them after reading on their website about how easy it is to assemble. They say everything comes with pre drilled holes and you just need to put it together. Sounds great, but that's not the case for ottoman beds. Since their other style beds don't need holes drilled in the centre, they don't do it on ANY headboard (cheap cost cutting on their part) even though the ottoman requires it. I contacted customer service to be told to do it myself which is really disappointing as I'd ordered a £750 bed thinking I just need to assemble it. I don't own a drill so when I told them that they assured me the wood is soft and a hole can be made easily with a screw driver. It was so unnecessarily difficult and took such a long time to get it right (and could have ruined the bed if done incorrectly) when they should be drilling all the required holes in each style bed as advertised. I won't be buying from them for the other rooms in my apartment. I don't recommend buying ottoman beds from them.

Really excellent quality bed. Looks fantastic and the ottoman storage is so useful. Customer service support always responded quickly with a query I had with the fabric. Only suggestion would be to improve the paper assembly instructions but the YouTube video’s are very helpful.

We love our Yark bed. Arrived within days of ordering, easy to assemble and so comfy - oh...and looks even better than the pictures!

Bought in Dec20. Quick ordering and delivery process. Needed 2 people to put together and once done correctly it’s very sturdy and looks amazing. Nearly 7 months on and it’s still good as new. Fantastic quality. Can’t fault.

Lovely solid well made beds. The delivery guys were great and took it to the room I needed it, just as well as the boxes are very heavy! Went for slate grey velvet ottoman and am so pleased with it, it looks amazing

48hrs???? It is one week that I sleep on the floor because of their terrible service! First thing I got the bed with the wrong headboard, and without headboard I cannot put together the bed as it is an Ottoman. They tried to fix this and send me a new one a few days later, they promised me they would do that this Friday (4 days after the wrong delivery). But on Friday the delivery was cancelled, as they did not provide the item to the delivery service!!!!!!!! So I have another 3 days to sleep on the floor, praying that on Monday I will get my bed. Totally NOT recommend them.

I have had my ottoman king size bed with winged headboard for over 3 months now, I feel it’s fair for me to review it.
The gap from the headboard to the bed base drives me crazy, pillows fall down the gap. Theres also a gap at the bottom of the mattress which is very unsightly. I have a brand new Harrison Spinks mattress there is no problems with that its the yark base that’s the problem.
I share this bed with my 4 yr old son most nights it hasn’t got much weight on it at all but its started squeaking like an old/cheap bed already. Turning over some nights it sounds like my old bed from Uni many moons ago.
It looks lovely and it’s sturdy and there’s brilliant space in the ottoman base, the colour is great and the fabric too.
This gap where the headboard doesn’t sit flush to the base is awful, I’m not joking it’s making me have a really sore neck. I’ve tried sticking a panda foam pillow down the gap (yes it’s that big) but it’s just so uncomfortable. Im so disappointed in it as it has some great points but I’m gonna have to get a new bed I can’t put up with this any longer.

I had never heard of this company until advertised to on Instagram, and after reading reviews on Trustpilot, we decided to take the plunge. They had the styles we were after and really fast delivery times (48 hrs compared to months from some other companies). There was an error on the website, and it turned out that what we ordered (navy scroll headboard) wasn't available until end of July. We were contacted by customer service the next day to let us know of our options. We ended up getting the buttoned headboard and bed in green velvet and it is absolutely gorgeous. It would be good to have a phone number to call, but couldn't find one so I ended up emailing and DMing them on Instagram, and someone called me back within an hour. Anyway, we love the bed, it is really beautiful and comfortable, and the Buttoned headboard isn't as tall as I was worried it might be. We got an Ottoman style bed and my husband did have to drill some holes himself to make it work, but he was luckily able to. He watched the provided video and had the printed instructions, but something wasn't adding up, so he had to get creative. Took him a few hours to build it on his own, but it was doable. Would recommend Yark for their gorgeous fabric, excellent customer service and fast delivery!

We love our bed! It’s stylish, practical and easy to put together. Can’t recommend the ottoman highly enough. The instruction video was very clear which helped a lot. The ordering process is simple, delivery was quick and delivery team were so helpful. From there it took an hour or so and the bed was ready to go! Thanks Yark for everything. We’ll be back to order another soon!

Really good customer service. I raised two queries during the process and was called back within the hour by the Yark team. They were really proactive. Bed is lovely quality and arrived a week early.
