Great Customer Experience

I have been using the bed and the mattress we bought from Yark for past few months without any issue. We initially had a missing pieces issue but yark was very quick in responding to my queries and sending the missing parts. Overall great customer experience and good quality product

I literally ordered my bed in 2 minutes…

I literally ordered my bed in 2 minutes and it came in 2 days, really pleased with the looks and quality!

Instructions weren’t the easiest but their own YouTube video came in handy.

Really good experience overall!

First time buying a bed!

First time buying a bed!

Criticism first. The courier service used was not accurate, stated it would arrive between 12:14 and 14:14. It arrived at 11:30 - which was a bit annoying as I was in the middle of moving house so had to shift things around! On top of that, the couriers only took one of the three boxes to my flat, leaving me to struggle up 2 flights of stairs with a 50kg and 25kg box!

Final criticism, the images on the instructions were poor quality so it was a tad difficult to see the steps at points. Also, when fixing the brackets for the middle beam, a drill was definitely required - yet the instructions said a drill is not needed...

The positives...

The bed looks fantastic, it's super simple to put together and the service from Yark was great. I would definitely recommend them to others looking for a bed! Please do not let my initial criticisms turn you off - maybe it was an off day. Hopefully the courier service and the instructions for future products are refined to make it a less stressful process - especially if you're amidst a house move!

FYI, the bed pairs nicely with Emma mattress'

Our products are heavier than those other off the shelf beds because we pack it with more foam, thicker wood and fabric. This all adds to the total weight.

Bed is awesome

Bed is awesome. We actually bought it to replace a bed from another company that was the wrong colour for our room (they didn't offer fabric samples). The price point was similar but the quality was night and day difference - our Yark bed is super sturdy and beautifully finished. So pleased with it. Be warned that it is heavy and requires a fair amount of effort to build. Totally worth it though.

Honestly the best bed ever

Honestly the best bed ever. The quality is excellent and it is very comfortable. I love that you can choose your own designs and make it personal to you. Be prepared, the bed is heavy but that contributes to the overall quality.

A little tricky to assemble but LOVE.

We love our bed a LOT - it’s super sturdy and looks gorgeous. Delivery was easy and it’s flat packed which was vital for our new home. Literally the only reason it’s a 4* rather than 5* is for the assembly - it’s not horrendous to assemble at all, but we felt in some instances the instructions weren’t super clear, and there was confusion as the instructions said you needed more parts than you did. Not all holes were ready-made (think it’s because we have the ottoman frame?) which proved difficult when we don’t have a power drill. Regardless, we love it and I would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Absolutely love our Yark beds!

We couldn't be happier with our Yark beds! We moved into our new flat at the last minute and after ordering our 2 Yark beds they arrived within 48 hours. I literally couldn't believe how quickly it arrived as my friend is waiting weeks for her bed from another retailer!

We got one winged and one buttoned headboard in light grey and oat. The colours and headboard styles are absolutely gorgeous and we were amazed at the quality of the fabric for the price we paid - plus the mattresses are sooo comfy. The storage is also very handy, we got one with drawers and one ottoman and we can fit so much in them.

It says you need 2 people to install the beds but my partner managed to install both practically in one night on his own whilst I unpacked. He said the instructions and video were really clear and helpful. I couldn't believe it when I went in the room that evening and our Yark beds were ready to be slept on!

I'm so happy we purchased our beds from Yark and couldn't recommend the service, products and quality enough. It's made our flat move far less stressful and they truly are a feature in our bedrooms. Thank you to the wonderful Yark team :)

Good quality but missing parts

Firstly I would like to say the quality of the bed it lovely and looks amazing.
Unfortunately when the bed was sent out this was sent out with no bolts or fixings and we had already got rid of our old bed so this then meant we had 2 nights on a mattress on the floor due to not being able to put the bed up.

Eventually the parts did turn up so we were able to put the bed up, to then find that the central pole for the ottoman storage underneath was missing (which we had paid extra for this kind of storage) so we contacted again for this to be sent out, this has taken nearly a month to get to us due to this being lost by the courier twice. We have now eventually received the part after nearly a month. I am just not sure how a warehouse can miss out so many parts when packing a bed, I think this is an issue that needs to be looked into urgently.

I was informed over a week ago a good will gesture had been applied to my card to be told yesterday I would receive an email stating how much this was, but I have still not received anything onto my card.

The communication has been good where we have received emails back when we have contacted but I am so disappointed that when we have spent £650 on a bed to still be having to email about a month later. Very unhappy customer.

It wasn't fair that you had to go through this and it's not what we expected either. That's why our team issued a gesture of goodwill once everything was delivered, which is our standard procedure.

Very pleased fabulous bed

Chose a day and given a time slot for delivery and driver rang half hour before to let us know he was on his way. The bed is well packaged and very heavy. I bought the ottoman bed with a high buttoned headboard in emerald green the colour is perfect. The quality of the bed is excellent. I am absolutely delighted it so much nicer than the picture. Needed to refer to video to build but the instructions were easy enough to follow. Only negative is the board on the bottom of the bed needs to have a wider ledge to give it a bit more stability. The bed is fabulous and well worth the money I would highly recommend very pleased.

The Quality 🤯

Everything is SO heavy! Excellent quality (I would go as far to say as the best quality piece of furniture I’ve ever owned) it did take some time to build but rather simple! We also brought the mattress which is AMAZING! Firm, supportive and so deep! 100% recommend!

I placed an order for my bed on 31st March for it to be delivered on 11th April. I’ve had no delivery updates as of yet and have contacted the help desk multiple times with no response.
When I can see people are receiving orders within 48 hours and I’ve had to wait two weeks with no response to when it will get here - it is definitely getting quite frustrating!!
*UPDATE*
Still waiting for a response- myself and my partner have messaged on all platforms offered and not received anything in response to our questions. I am appalled by the lack of service given how much money (£700!!) I have paid for currently nothing. Other reviews have stated that when there was an issue with delivery they were promptly contacted to resolve the issue and for some reason I have not been.
I have sent messages to the helpdesk yesterday and this morning with no response and my partner sent one less than an hour ago and has just received one!! I really don’t appreciate being ignored - especially since you just asked for the order number that I have included on every message sent.
*13:04 - IVE STILL HAD NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT*
After multiple emails and messages sent across all of the Yark platforms I have received no response (my partner however did receive one asking for the order number and has heard nothing since)- how many times will I have to chase an order I have paid for before I receive a response just letting me know where my order is up to? Your customer service desk has been open for 3 hours now and you haven’t replied to anything I’ve sent - I’m so frustrated

It seems that we experienced an IT issue where our checkout allowed you to order your bed for a delivery on Sunday. Sadly, we don't deliver on Sunday's because like everyone, our drivers need a rest to re charge those batteries, (hopefully in a Yark bed, we may add).

Upon purchasing your bed, our website did not offer a 48 hour lead time because the design you chose was out of stock. We’ve experienced a surge in demand lately, so it was ordered on a pre order basis which was displayed at the time of ordering.

However we take full responsibility fault that we experienced an IT issue which allowed you to order the bed for a Sunday.

As soon as your partner emailed in, we quickly understood the issue and found a resolution within 3 hours of the original contact.

We’re sorry that our system broke down and have since had our IT bods looking into the problem. We’re pleased to say, we’ve isolated the issue and fixed the bug at our checkout. It appears this issue only affected your order.

We hope you’re loving the bed you’ve designed and we’re very sorry for the small delay in delivery that you’ve experienced. If you need anymore support from our team, just let us know at help@yarkbeds.com and we’ll help you out.

Super easy and great value

This bed was so much easier to put together than other reviews suggested, the video and written instructions together made it really easy.
Price wise this bed is really good value for money.

Brilliant Quality

Absolutely brilliant quality bed, so easy to put together. Delivered in 48 hours, due to COVID it was delivered to our hallway but the delivery staff were very pleasant and helpful. The price is amazing for the quality of the goods.

AVOID!!!

I'm absolutely shocked at the service I am receiving from this company. When I buy a product, especially such an expensive one, I expect it to be of great quality and arrive in new condition. Not only did my bed arrive damaged, with broken parts and part's of such poor quality they should never have been sent out, after chasing them up for days for replacements parts they fail to send everything out!! What is going on?! Im in disbelief that as a customer, I am having to work this hard to get what I purchased in the condition it should be in!!! I would NEVER recommend this company, their customer service is the worst I have experienced and now I am stuck with a damaged bed. I did alot of research into this company, all the reviews were good but I now wonder if they're all real...I purchased, in good faith, a bed I thought would be more beneficial for my partner as he has mobility issues and spent 2/3's of my monthly wage on this disaster. Don't make the same mistake I did.
*In response to the reply Yark have left, I had to email and message them on social media to get a response. The replacement parts were sent out 6 days after I complained. The boards were damaged so yes, of course I wanted you to replace them - is replacing inadequate parts a gesture of good will!? You had a duty to replace them along with the bowed central support beam and the broken slat.

Left sleeping on the floor, and no bed !!!

We brought a bed and mattress from YARK, it was supposed to be delivered today between 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm, through a company called Arrow XL. YARK advised that if we missed this slot we would be charged £65, with this confident promise we made sure that our old bed was collected for donation by 1 pm on the same day.

Arrow XL, did not communicate with us even though they said they would call 15 min to 30 min prior to delivery. At 4:30 pm we contacted them through webchat and we were told it was delayed for 2 hours and we then had a call at 6:15 by the driver saying he was going to deliver it in the next 30 minutes, we then got another call from him asking if the property was a flat, we then told him its on the ground floor and he said that's fine, see you soon.

20 minutes later at 6:25 pm, we got a call from Nicola at Arrow XL, who told us the driver had ran out of driver time and they would not be delivering. She was not helpful or apologetic, we explained we would be sleeping on the FLOOR and she had no solution to offer and was unable to let us know when we could potentially receive our bed. To add insult to injury we were told that they do not operate on Sunday's, meaning we could only speak to someone on Monday morning.

YARK does not have a contact number for customer service, this is very disappointing, this is an awful experience! This is due to YARK not choosing its delivery companies well enough. I would stay well clear!

We want someone to sort this out ASAP ! as we have no bed.
